Very old traditional public houses are rare in these days and the location just opposite the new bridge was lovely. Well worth the 4 hour drive from London. Staff and management were friendly, approachable and accommodating. Parking facilities were fair and plenty but only one disabled parking space which was not nearest to the building. The food was really well priced and very tasty, great value for money and drinks prices were more than fair. The lobby by the rooms is spotless offering books to those who decide that they want to read something. The room was absolutely excellent. I have stayed in 4-5 star hotels that the cleanliness was not quite as good, the bathroom facilities were spotless as well. Private outside smoking area away from the pub front for guests is a really great commodity. Regulars are very friendly and welcoming. 2 minute drive to the Iron Bridge brings you into a thriving area with shops, other pubs and a lot of people. Victorian Village is very close by and other great commodities and museums. Would definitely book again. Great prices. Quite surprisingly Uber eats also has a lot to offer in this area.
Access to the rooms is not disabled access friendly so lumping a heavy suitcase up uneven steep steps with a stomach hernia and spine damage was very painful.
As a blogger I leave honest reviews and the upstairs area where the rooms are could do with an air freshener including the en suite bathroom. It is a very old building and has that musky smell. Noise could be an issue during the day but it’s above a pub with pub noises. WiFi had issues. I found booking out at 10am unusual but I’m sure with a chat to the management this could be extended to 11am as an individual request.

Steps not suitable for disabled people with walking difficulties. Plumbing needs to be sorted very noisy. Bathroom sink blocked in room 3. Pity cooked breakfast wasn't fresh kept warm either in oven or under headlamp.

Breakfast excellent - I was surprised not to be given the option of declining some of the ingredients (which I did on day 2) but there were staff shortages. There was no chef, so had to eat elsewhere (can't blame anyone).
The sink in room 3: the plunger barely lifted; the water ran away *very* slowly. The bed was king-size , leaving not much room for anything else. (to be fair the bathroom was huge, so one could dump stuff there). Decor nice.

Very good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff
A few coat hooks would be good and a shelf or something in bathroom to put washbags

We thought the location was good as we wanted to explore Ironbridge and the surrounding area. There were plenty of parking spaces but a little tight for getting in and out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to have a view of the river and bridge and plenty of outside tables to drink or eat at on a warm day. The bed was comfortable.
We stayed two nights but our room was not cleaned or refreshed on the second morning. We had to ask for more milk and had to use the same dirty cups for the whole stay. The en-suite bathroom was quite dated and there was no mirror above the sink or anywhere in the bathroom.

We were given a great welcome by Steve, who gave us a good suggestion for a place to eat as they didn't do food on the night we were there. They had a quiz night which we were too late to join but were included anyway. Breakfast was very good and Steve made sure I had gluten free toast as I'm coeliac. The location is on a road by a bridge but there was hardly any traffic going past in the morning. I would definitely stay there again.
No complaints at all

Excellent food. Really central location which meant we could walk to most of the attractions we wanted to visit.

A Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and not far for an evening triple.
Not a lot to dislike except the shower on offer, the shower was to small and very claustrophobic, even though we are slim the shower was not used, any person more chunky than ten stone would get stuck ?.

Good size room and easy 5 minute walk into Ironbridge itself. The ample parking was a bonus for this area. Good choice of beers in the pub but a microbrewery just down the road has a very good selection.
A small step between the corridor and bedroom did catch us both out a couple of time, perhaps needs to be painted yellow and black to stand out. Friday night seems to be late music night in the bar below and it seemed to be very loud.

The room was spacious and warm. It had an on-suite and plenty of coffee, tea bags and biscuits. Cooked breakfast was delicious. View from the room was lovely. Staff were all friendly and helpful
Sadly no fuit tea available. Steep steps up to the rooms. The sound travelled up through the floor from the bar but as I was so tired it did not bother me as I fell asleep quickly
