Our hosts Annie and Ralph were exceptional, they couldn't do enough for us, and the standard of breakfast was just amazingly good. The room was comfortable and had many little comforts extra to the norm. The guesthouse is only a few minutes walk from Looe.
There are steps down to the pathway into town, but Looe is hilly, and unless you have real mobility issues the handrails are very helpful.

Spotlessly clean Annie was the perfect host and Ralph was the perfect chef.
Our room was clean and comfortable with fresh milk everyday for our drinks in the room.
Annie was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and advised us on where to go and where to eat.
The breakfast was varied and was cooked very well you could have a full English Breakfast or a special order from the menu.
Free Parking on site with safe and secure premises.
Good position within walking distance to Looe.
Look forward to staying again.
You have to cross a busy road outside the premises to go into Looe.

Very warm welcome from hosts Annie and Ralph. Very pleasant and friendly.
Great room, very comfortable and clean as was the whole property, so clean and fresh. Mini fridge, tea, coffee, milk, bottled water biscuits replenished as and when required. Off road parking.
Fantastic breakfast. Cereals, fruit juice, full English and specials. Excellently cooked and presented.
A fantastic stay and will book again in the future. For quality and value for money you will have to try very hard to beat Cherrywood Lodge.

The attention to detail to make stay comfortable was excellent. Loved the little added details. A friendly welcome from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a treat, hot and freshly cooked with the specials menu providing a different take on your everyday, ordinary breakfast....definitely a must! Will certainly be looking to return again to Cherrywood Lodge.
What could have been better? A longer stay next time!

The hosts Anne and Ralph were friendly. The breakfast was lovely with a specials board we tried the black pudding rumble which was delicious and Ralph's home made bread was a real hit with us.
It was warm in the room but felt we couldn't open the windows due to the smokers outside from another property

The hosts Ralph and Annie are friendly and very welcoming and more than happy to offer advice and information, not just about Looe but the wider area. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and very well presented with lovely furnishings and extra added touches making the whole place stand out. They also have a one way system in place and hand sanitisers dotted around to comply with Covid regulations to ensure the safety of their guests. Cherrywood Lodge is very well located near to the town centre and although on a hill this was still manageable walking due to the short distance. Compliments to Ralph for the excellent breakfasts, cooked to perfection and always hot, and the warm and pleasant greeting from Annie each morning when entering the dining area. This is a superb place to stay in Looe and we would definitely recommend to anyone. If we stay in the area again we will be ringing to book there.
The only negative we found was the shower wasnt very powerful.

The accommodation was superb. Great shower, really comfy bed and very welcoming hosts. So a lovely place to stay.
All the steps to get in and out were a bit of a nightmare. The codes to get in and out also worked only sometimes.

An exceptional B and B offering great value for money. The owners, Ralph and Annie where so friendly, welcoming and looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay so enjoyable. The premises are spotlessly clean with excellent Covid 19 protocols in place. The rooms are so tastefully decorated with lots a lovely little classy touches. Ralph clearly takes a lot of pride in his breakfast as it was as good a breakfast I've ever had in a B & B and he also makes his own bread. There is also a specials board offering a number of other options which you can choose for the following day. Its also in a great location and easy to find when following the instructions given on the website and not following sat nav. Traveling across the bridge to East Looe. Turn right at the end of the bridge and follow the road around and turn left into Goonwartha Road. ( It feels like you driving away but once you turn into Goonwartha Rd, you do come back on yourself)! Then just follow the road to the end until you come to a slightly off centre crossroads, slightly to you right. Continue straight on and Cherrywood is signposted on your left to the car park and the rear of the premises. Access to the road from the front of the premises is a 2 minute walk to the bridge. A little gem of a B and B which I can totally unreservedly recommend!!!
Nothing.

Ralph and Annie helpful and friendly, and the rooms were really clean - which is really important to me! Located close to the centre of looe, so it was an excellent base for restaurants in the evening which were all just a short walk away. Good breakfast also. Would recommend it.

Immaculately clean, beautiful furnishings and Ralph and Ann could not have been more accommodating. Ralph even popped out to get me gluten free bread for my breakfast. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and you can order specials from a choice of around 10 dishes, just order the day before and our smoked haddock and poached eggs were divine! Apparently we had a standard room so I’d love to see what the other rooms were like
Not a problem for us but lots of steps and hilly for the shortwalk into town

When we got there, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Ralph, the owner of the B&B. We did arrive a little later than expected so he met us at the gate leading onto the carpark and then walked us to our room explaining the one way system and restrictions that was set due to covid. Theres secure gates both sides of the B&B which makes you feel extra secure in being there. The Breakfast in the morning was exceptional, all cooked by Ralph and usually served by his gorgeous wife anne who was also just as friendly as him. Theres lots of things to do and loads of places to visit, so you deffinatly wont get bored exploring.
For me the parking situation could have been better, that doesnt take away any points from the stay though. The parking in looe isnt amazing and most of the roads are tight anyway. They do make the most out of the space given.
