Comfty bed and a great view
Dirty cups and kettle, plastic vups had mould in the bottoms. Dangerous step into bathroom. Showerhead dirty/blocked, sink taps needing washer change, water coming out all angles, bar and hotel shut down very early (we went back to have a few drinks sat outside at 9pm and all shut up!!) no food available - kitchen issue 'breakfast' basket left on floor, outside room in the nightime! Yogurt etc been out there 10/12 hours in a heatwave....minging really. Somethimg not right here...think they are having some serious issues....wouldmt reccomend at at..
Not worth £105....reviews we read must have been old or different owners/managers or pre-issues?? Apart from qhen we arrived,we never saw any member of staff the whole time.

The location was fantastic
Twin room, no en suite had to walk across the landing to use the bathroom. Very rough bath robes and towels were given which exfoliated your skin. The bathroom smelt bad, the light pull was just a piece of dirty cord.
Room needed a clean up and an update actually the whole place did!
Complimentary breakfast... shouldn't have bothered.

Very pleasant stay as always. Nice room. This is the second one we tried. Glorious view, nice complimentary breakfast.
The door to the bathroom is sliding style, so not enough privacy for using the WC, but it's okay if you stay just a night

The bar and room had great character and very clean and tidy. The food on the first night was excellent but on the second night there was a greatly reduced menu so we ate elsewhere(disappointed). Staff friendly.
Great views from our room and bar windows.
Breakfast basket was disappointing, no milk or cereal on first night and no butter for our small hot cross buns, yogurts can't be kept cold overnight. (To be honest I would rather have pair £5 less and just stayed in the room)
Parking first come first served, I new this was the case so not disappointed

The bathroom was private but not ensuite, thankfully the lace wasn't too busy.

Location was OK.
We were told breakfast was available anytime we wanted it. Surprise! No staff on hand. The only food we could find were cereals, but no milk. No coffee, no juice. We were left to ourselves to deal… with not much. We have never been to a so called B&B with no staff and no food. Stay away from this place. It should not be on Booking.com.

The location is amazing and the view from our rooms was gorgeous - right over the Looe River. The room was great as we had a family room with a separate smaller single bedroom off the main room so great for two friends. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. We ate in the hotel twice and both times the food was super - although I would recommend booking (even as a guest) as they do get very busy. That said, the staff kept us really informed that we would have a wait to order - so all good. The breakfast was a little tricky as it was help yourself and the day we went down there was no coffee or milk etc - think there had been an issue with the fridge but there are no staff around to speak to in the morning - the cleaner got us some staff milk (so very helpful) but not what we were expecting. We ate out for breakfast on the Sunday and left very early on Monday so never got a chance to check if this was a one-off! The ONLY thing I would like them to improve is the shower :) the bathroom needed a bit of an update as a nice hot powerful shower after a day out and about just makes the day - the shower was definitely hot every time but the water pressure / shower head was dated - that really is the only thing we could fault and I would definitely stay again. We were also lucky and managed to get parked right outside the hotel for free every time we needed it.

great room very comfortable, very good staff Hannah is a real asset to your business
breakfast was help yourself which was a good idea but some milk for cereals and a kettle to make a cuppa would’ve been good idea

A nice local atmosphere to this place, perfect for those wanting to stay in a proper pub. The rooms were made up to feel quirky, cosy and homely. Fabulous location with plenty of choice for truly excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.
it would have been nice to have the option of a proper cooked breakfast, though the self-serve croissant and yogurt breakfast buffet was adequate and saved me piling in more pounds!

Location
Breakfast no hot drinks, no milk for cereal, no fruit juice, only very spare continental option you got yourself. Bar shut at 8.30 and lights outside turned off. Very disappointing for £120 a night!

The inn was right beside the port.
The staff were very short with me when I asked to leave my bag for the day when I'd arrived early. The room was continually damp so that my towel didn't dry over the day even when hung up to dry. The morning breakfast was set out the night before, no staff at all, it was boxes of cereal, no milk, with cellophane crossaint. No tea or coffee. You had to take it to your room and boil the kettle.
I'm walking and doing luggage pick up. I had to organise the bed and breakfast next door (absolutely delightful woman but fully booked).
