Location was perfect.
Freshly cooked breakfasts - perfect.
Spotlessly clean room and a fantastic view.
Thank you so much to Paula and Tom for a superb break.
4.5
A very handy location easy to get into town, a lovely friendly and welcoming couple, great breakfast (cereal, fresh fruit, choice of cooked/specials). Parking nearby, but weirdly costed circa £10 per day but a maximum of £25 per week), I think
this is an issue with many B&B's in the area.
We were in a back room, so there are maybe better views and larger rooms (?) overlooking the estuary.
Room size could be a little larger, but the ensuite was very spacious.

Great place to stay, beautiful views from the room and excellent owners, Giving us great advise about restaurants, places to visit and tips.

Paula and Tom are amazing hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming. The house is in a lovely location with an amazing view. They also provide board games and books in case you just want to chill in the room. It has a few steps to get to the house and it is a bit uphill, but it just adds up to the vibe and the hiking (:
The house is very close to the town centre and you can walk everywhere from there.
The most amazing part was the breakfast. They gave us several options and the portions are very well served. All the food had very good quality and was very fresh. Paula and Tom cook everything themselves and it makes the taste much better and fresher.
Would definitely recommend and come back!!!

The home cooked food, the welcome, the friendly welcome, oh, and the food!!!!
Could have been a little lower geographically, but we soon got used to it.
What I really disliked was leaving there!!

Everything was fabulous, the owners were very friendly, the room was emaculate, the view was stunning and the breakfast included some of the best homemade ingredients we have ever had.
The only downside is the stairs, hills and parking. This is a feature of a venue with such stunning views in such a beautiful and popular place. The positives far outweigh any negatives.

Excellent breakfast, a very warm welcome and an amazing view over the river. Had a lovely stay!

WOW. We are just back from a 3 night stay at the Schooner Point Guest House and could have so easily stayed longer. We were greeted by Tom who ran through everything and a hello from Paula who was busy in the kitchen making home made muffins for breakfast the next day. We were shown to our room which was beautifully decorated with plenty of storage. All the furniture is contemporary oak and all in an immaculate condition including a proper dressing table with mirror and stool. The room was spacious and had a lovely comfortable bed and chairs and table in the big bay window. The bathroom was really lovely with an amazing shower. We were also provided with full size bottles of shower gel and shampoo etc. We were provided with robes, slippers, tea and coffee along with a daily top up of biscuits and a large bottle of water. There is a book case filled with books, maps of Cornwall and leaflets along with games for a rainy day or early evening in our room. We had the most beautiful view across to the river to the left and harbour to the right. Breakfast was a real treat. Served in a lovely breakfast room looking out to the view of the river and town. Fresh fruit salad, yogurt, fruit compote and honey. Several cereals in glass jars rather than those silly little boxes. We had a choice of fruit juices which we served ourselves and had pots of tea and coffee made to order. Paula made muffins which she thought weren't up to scratch, but take no notice, her cooking is so good. Tom waited on us brilliantly while Paula cooked a traditional Cornish breakfast to order all without a microwave "ping". We could have any combination of cooked breakfast and nothing was too much trouble all followed by a cheeky muffin or pastry. Schooner Point has a great front garden and decked area with seating which is perfect for taking in the breath taking views. Paula & Tom are the perfect hosts who have created a wonderful guest house experience.

the hosts are awesome and the place is clean. breakfast is customer specific and great
the parking is awkward at best. if you can find a space it will be small otherwise you have to park at the bottom of the hill

A beautiful house in an excellent location, just a 5/10 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, lots of personal touches and everything thought of. Great views! Tom & Paula have worked hard to make this an outstanding place to stay and make you feel very welcome. I loved my stay here and would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.
Can't think of anything.

The only slight downfall is parking facilities… although I did find a space in the road behind the property

We had a perfect stay at Schooner Point Guest House. We would return just for the breakfast!! Our room was spacious and clean with nice touches (different biscuits/slippers/dressing gowns). The Guest House is decorated with lovely pictures and the view is amazing.
It is also very close to all the pubs/restaurants- ideal spot and we parked with no trouble round the back. Paula and Tom gave great recommendations on what to do in the area and were so lovely.
Highly recommended.

the hosts, the views, the exceptional breakfast. our room was outstanding really. quality of attention to detail at the B&B (Dressing gowns)
not the hosts fault as it’s Geography but limited parking. that said nearby carpark was cheap for 24 hr ticket, but just a walk in wind and rain.
4.5
The hosts, the cleanliness of the hotel , felt safe with covid restrictions, the amazing choice for breakfast options , very tasty and well prepared. Location of the b&b was ideal.
The steep steps down to the front door from the parking spaces , would be a challenge for any one with mobility issues.

The owners are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The room was spotlessly clean and the location was close enough to be under 5 minutes walk to the centre of Looe but in a quiet and peaceful place away from crowds.
It was perfect. There are a few steps up to the house and it is all uphill from the centre but only took me 3 minutes from the Looe bridge to the front door!! I loved it. I had a lovely quiet garden view but the other rooms have river views.

Paula and Tom were great hosts. So friendly and welcoming, not only to their guest house but to Looe and Cornwall also. Hopefully we'll get back down sometime and definitely stay at Schooner Point. They were both very informative and knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips and pointers.
Couldn't fault anything.

Breakfast excellent with good choices.Lovely room with good views. Friendly and helpful hosts.Everywhere spotlessly clean.Very reasonable price especially for Cornwall ! Good location as very convenient for the town.
Nothing. It was on a slope, as are a lot of the houses in Looe ,so a bit of a climb but nothing can be done about that !
Also, a bit of traffic noise as just above the main road but again, not much can be done !

It was lovely clean and still following covid rules put our minds at ease.
The breakfast was amazing.
Just a 5 minute walk in to main part of Looe.
Would definitely book again

The owners were great, very friendly and accommodating.
After talking to them about the hike I was going to take they suggested a better one to Polperro. Thank you again.

Paula and Tom were the most exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to provide a warm welcome and an extremely comfortable stay. The single room had a cracking view across to the sea, the bed and bedding was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge with lovely toiletries provided. The breakfast was superb, with lots of variety and enough to keep you going for the day on coastal walks (for which the location is perfect). They have retained a number of covid measures which added to feeling very safe there. I would come back to Looe just to stay there again!
4.5
Location excellent. Breakfasts excellent. Hosts very friendly. Very comfortable room. Spacious bathroom.
Parking hit and miss. House accessed by steep steps, although we knew this when we booked.
Bedroom on the small side, although we knew this when we booked.
