We absolutely loved this spacious and comfortable cabin! The ambiance is perfect for a mountain getaway, complete with scenic views, lightning bugs, and an open air jacuzzi. The living space is has a great fireplace in the living room, a very workable kitchen and dining area, and very comfortable beds!
Every day had a new adventure, with the cabin being nearby to great hiking, white-water rafting, and shopping in quaint Boone and Blowing Rock. We wish we could stay all summer!
Hope to come back!

Quick last minute trip for tubing and snowboarding with some family. Everything was great! Couple of suggestions, since house can sleep a fairly large number of people, a larger size crockpot and toaster would be helpful and even a griddle. Hot tub in odd location, not on a deck or close to a door but better than none at all. Overall great stay!

Our stay was excellent, the house offered everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The only negative thing I can say is the large couch in the living room needs to be replaced. The cushions innards are completely squashed and uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. It has seen better times.

We really enjoyed staying at 3 Bears Den. It has a great "log cabin" feel, yet It is just a few minutes outside of Boone. It is very centrally located to all of the attractions and smaller towns we wanted to visit. Just a hop, skip, and a jump to eat dinner in Banner Elk. Very close to Grandfather Mountain and Valle Crusis. We visited Blowing Rock and West Jefferson as well. Also, there is easy access to the Parkway nearby. We did a family golf trip with our kids and played at 4 courses. House was clean, very spacious and had everything we needed to relax. Loved the porch and the hot tub!

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful and so close to everything. We visited Banner Elk and Blowing Rock while we were there. This house is in the perfect location. We were able to check in a little early. The cabin rental company was very responsive and answered as soon as we called when the code didn’t work. We couldn’t have been happier plus we were able to take our fur babies ♥️

Great location between Boone and sugar mountain. Plenty of room for my family to enjoy. The porch has a fantastic view. Great for a cup of coffee and some quiet.

Very clean, easy access, and close to everything! Would definitely recommend staying here and I would love to again.

Excellent location, ease of access to attractions. Enjoyed having morning and evening coffee while sitting on the front porch taking in the mountain views.
Kids enjoyed the foosball table and smores by the firepit as well as hiking up the backyard. Hot tub was fully functional.
Overall a great house, location, and amenities.
We will be back to rent again..

Amazing property and location
Fantastic Cabin and excellent location. Would definitely stay there again. We were very close to Boone/Blowing Rock as well as Valle Crucis (which has the 1st Mass General Store). My daughter wanted an Insomnia Cookie one night and we left at 9 and were back in less than 20 minutes with warm insomnia cookies. Aside from the great cabin (very pet friendly) the response from Carolina Cabin Rentals was incredible. I sent an email at 10:30 the night before we left with questions about check out and they responded within minutes.

We enjoyed our stay and had a very nice weekend. The home was okay but I thought that the sofa was very uncomfortable and it could have been cleaner. We did not use the hot tub because it was cloudy water and some thing was growing on the bottom. The rocking chairs on the porch needed to be cleaned off and the house needed to be dusted really bad. The bushes were so big that you could hardly get on to the back porch with your luggage.

Excellent location. Stayed for the App State graduation. Location was easy to get back and forth to unlike other places I’ve stayed in the area. Wasn’t too impressed with the cleanliness of the home and had trouble with the televisions/satellite working consistently.

Wonderful cabin
We loved every minute of our stay. The cabin was nice and well equipped. Only complaint was some of the dishes had been put away dirty and there was only one dish cloth and one kitchen towel, two of each would have been nice. The driveway was cleared of ice and snow but not the final road. Although it was a very short distance it was a rather steep incline so we were thankful one of our vehicles was 4 wheel drive as was recommended, but the other one didn’t even attempt it and had to be parked elsewhere.
I definitely recommend it and would love to return.

Cute Cabin
Cute Cabin close to Boone. Google Maps has trouble finding the address but overall isn't a hard property to find with directions provided by property manager. Upstairs has an excellent room for children that can sleep up to 5 comfortably.

Great stay
We loved our stay at the cabin. The location was great and easy and safe to get to. The cabin was comfortable and had enough space for us all. We were able to work and kids attend school with a solid wifi signal. Only issue was that the oven did not work. We managed around it but a couple of times we really wished it was working.

LOVELY
Great location, cozy and clean. What else can we ask for. My family and I loved our stay at the 3 Bears. There were 8 of us comfortably sleeping in the perfect sized bedrooms. There was an issue with the stove but they called me before my arrival to let me know and they were on top of it to have it resolved. Thank you for the lovely cabin. I will come back.

3 Bears Den
This cabin was very user friendly. Everything was in perfect working order and easy to use (including the TV remote...which is usually hard for me ;- ). Nice location. Close to Boone, Grandfather Mountain, and 30 minutes from Beech Mountain. Also, not far off Hwy 105. So very convenient. Carolina Cabin Rentals was very helpful, professional and friendly. Will definitely use them and this cabin again!

The 3 Bears Den is in the perfect location. Very close to food, hiking, skiiing. The house is perfect size for a small family. The hot tub came in handy on a cold day. Everything you need was already in the house.

Fall Break in the Mountains
We stayed at 3 Bears Den and had the relaxing getaway we needed. The cabin and hot tub were clean. Had difficulty with hot tub settings and Carolina Cabin Rentals was very helpful and quick to respond. We lost internet and cable for the last 2 days which was an external issue from work being done on the road. Carolina Cabin Rentals were on property within an hour and did everything to try and restore the internet. Not having internet actually gave us the family time we needed. We explored Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, Cascade Falls, Laurel Creek Falls, and Blowing Rock. It was all so beautiful! We were sad to leave and wished we had 1 more day in the cabin.

Nice cabin. Clean and a great place to enjoy with family.

The cabin was nice, but what was as described was a significant amount more than quotes on website. With 2 management fees, a service fee, linen fee, cleaning fee and more. We will not be using them again.

The Good, the Bad and the Questionable about 3 Bears Den
First, the Good; Location. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Linville etc. Relatively easy in and out off Hwy 105 without a lot of the typical "snake" like turns that the NC high country is know for.
The Bad; At this particular price point, I would have thought that there would be at least a "starter" bag of logs either for the fireplace or the firepit; these bags were only $5.99 at Publix. Speaking of the firepit, there were no chairs, or Logs, or stumps to sit on! So a house that sleeps 6-8 people we need to bring our own chairs for the firepit?
The Questionable; Why would the Master Bedroom NOT have a place to put your folded clothing? There wasn't the first drawer or shelf to put anything in. Yes, there were two closets, which by the way one of them was used to store a full size mattress? It's pretty tough to hang socks, under garments, and shorts. Get rid of the TV armoire and buy a dresser.
For the price point, we were very disappointed. From the less than stellar kitchen utensils, to the sagging and well worn living room furniture.
To end on a high note, we were very pleased with the staff of Carolina Cabin Rentals and their responsiveness.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Very clean, good layout, great for large families. It was close to many restaurants and central for visiting Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. We really enjoyed the fire pit and front porch. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, pans, etc.
Two things that would improve the cabin: less air freshener plug ins and a tune up of the dishwasher. We immediately opened the windows upon arrival because of the extremely strong scent, and we left all five plugins on the porch during our stay. Also, dishwasher could use a tune up.
