We enjoyed our stay at Casa Bella, it’s centrally located and the house is fabulous. Highly recommend.

The home is well appointed however the carpets were stained terribly throughout.
The patio cushions were mildewed. There were stains on at least two shower curtains and the dining room chairs were filthy. I think the entire home needs a deep clean/ refresh.

This was our first trip to the area. We were a group of 7, ages ranging from 10 years to 72 years. We quickly noticed the odor as soon as we entered the home. It smelled like old food and animal urine. Unfortunately the home was not clean at all. The floors (carpet and hardwood) had visible food and garbage left from the previous visitor, dirty clothes were left downstairs and one bedroom clearly had not had the sheets changed. The smoke alarms went off throughout the house, which took about 2 hrs to resolve and was determined to be a faulty system. The indoor pool is not in walking distance as described, especially if you have young children. I spent the first day cleaning and dusting the home and another on the faulty smoke alarm system, broken garbage disposal (where the rotten smell was coming from) and fixing a broken toilet. Both sliding doors in the home also do not lock properly, which was a concern. The rental company was quick to respond and fixed what they could. It’s unfortunate because it is clearly a beautiful home, but needs a deep clean and time spent to resolve basic issues.

We really enjoyed having the downstairs with the pool table for the kids and upstairs for the adults. Having the clubhouse with weight room and pool was great! Lots of fun hikes nearby and good restaurants!

we stayed for 3 weeks. house is as described. great layout. great amenities. will say there's lots of "stuff" and no where in kitchen for groceries. i cleared out the pantry and moved stuff to a closet for our stay and that worked beautifully.

Overall disappointed
Well to for starters, I get a call from the property manager saying the dishwasher was broken and would not be fixed during our stay. They did offer us $150 dollars for the inconvenience so they did make an effort to right the wrong. But that should have been my clue this wasn't going to go well. Arrive and realize that this is a townhouse not a house like I was expecting. I was very disappointed in that. We had several younger children and did not want a place with shared walls. Then we get inside and all the dishes are dirty, we had to wash all the dishes before we used them (remember we have no dishwasher). Another issue was storage. All the cabinets in the kitchen were full we had no where to put our groceries. All our found had to sit on the counter. Which took up counter space. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 6 children ages 12 and under, two of those were under two. Note to renters this place is a three levels a lot of steps. However, our stay got worst because the AC was broken and was not going to be fixed during our stay. the agency tried to make it right with return some money and provided a window unit. However, I do not feel this was enough. I am pregnant and I was hot every night except 1 during my stay and that is because it got really cold that night and we had all the windows open. Also, make note that the master has shutters that open to the lower floor. If someone is watching TV in the living area it's pretty loud in the master. Hit tub was dirt, vacuum didn't work so I had a hard time trying to clean up after our messy eaters, couldn't find a broom. There is no yard area to the property, it is surrounded by thick brush. Oh and the forth bedroom is more like a large closet with no windows. I could go on and on about the things I didn't like.
With all that being said, I think if the ac was working and the dishwasher worked that could have helped. I also suggest that the owners do some decluttering, clean out the closets and cabinets, purchase a broom and/or vacuum for the property it wouldn't be a bad house for older people. I don't really consider it a kid friendly home!
Hope this helps future renters get a better understanding of what the house is really like!

Perfect Mountain Getaway
This cabin exceeded all expectations! The cabin was nestled away in a beautiful area of Boone and an easy commute to both Sugar and Beech mountains. It was a comfortable stay for our 10 person party with more than enough room left over - we never felt cramped at all. The cabin was well stocked and very beautiful and cozy. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and will definitely look to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself!

The coffee machine was not working, part of the fridge kept on coming off. Mattress where very uncomfortable and old. When we puled out a couch there was trash there . I would probably never coma back there again.

New Year's W/Friends
The home was very nice and spacious. The Kitchen was the most well stocked of any VRBO I have ever rented. Great central location. The home was decorated nicely with a little holiday flare.

disappointed
We really love Casa Bella and had a great time during our stay. The decoration of the house makes it feel like coming home for Christmas.
That being said, I am very disappointed to the administrative fee deducted from the security deposit. This never happened to me during any of our stay in Cabins/BRB. How on the earth could you take advantage of administrative fee for the security deposit. I am fine with paying upfront and your rate is very reasonable. Doing this backdoor cost after the initial payment is outrageous. You has already charged $85 for processing fee and make it $110 if you want. DO NOT CHARGE PEOPLE THIS WAY.

Absolutely Stunning Cabin!
My family and I had an amazing stay at Casa Bella. It was a much needed getaway/reset for us. Casa Bella is just wonderful and it made us all feel like we were home. Coming from a heavily populated city, the quiet atmosphere on the mountain was just the change of pace we needed. The cabin is fully equipped with all of the technology we needed and the WiFi worked great, consistently, so that our children could participate in their distance learning classes without missing a beat. I appreciate all of the extra special touches and amenities provided to us and we would love to come back some time in the future.
Kindly,
Akia Jackson

Mountain majesty
Location is practically on the Blue Ridge Parkway, with a lovely view of Grandfather Mountain. The townhouse is one of about a dozen on a cul-de-sac, but almost no one else was there during the week, so it was quiet. In addition to the amenities that are stated, there were so many kitchen appliances, like a crock pot, hand mixer, instapot, air fryer, Keurig as well as coffee maker. Lovely touches with fall decorations and even cute fall plates were a nice addition to the already gorgeous furniture and decor. While the main living room was smaller than it appears in photos, there was plenty of space for our family of six adults and one child, especially with a second rec room. The decks are small and the chimney style fire pit, in a corner of the deck, made it a little hard to gather around. Carolina cabin rentals were very responsive to a very minor repair that we called about. They even followed up to verify that maintenance had come and taken care of it.

Beautiful home
What a great home. Great use of space and gorgeous views. Three couples had plenty of room. Only surprise was the winding, steep mountain road in the neighborhood and would not drive it at dark. Would stay here again.

Good location
Our stay at Casa Bella was perfect. It’s a great location for hiking, dining, and the children enjoyed the pool while adults played tennis. It’s close to Blowing Rock and Boone and travel was easy.

Best Vacay
This was absolutely amazing. The house was very nice and clean. Fully equipped. Of course we bring our own supplies but whatever we forgot the house had it. It’s secluded and very private. I like the fact that it’s on the mountain top. My children really enjoyed this. Thank you CasaBella for helping to bring our summer in great. 5 stars.

Yonahlossee Vacation Week
Great vacation week at Casa Bela. Very spacious and nicely decorated villa located in a peaceful location within Yonahlossee Resort. Enjoyed the excellent tennis facilities at Yonahlossee Racquet Club on multiple days as well as convenient access to hiking in Moses Cone Park. After very active days, we enjoyed returning to the villa to relax in hot tub or just hang out on deck. Great location to enjoy many activities in the area, or just relax and enjoy the peaceful setting in Yonahlossee. We did both which made for a very nice vacation.

Lovely house with a lot to offer!
We love the house, and would have given it 5 stars if the piano is repaired and tuned. We chose this house over the other houses because it has a piano for us to practice on, but the piano was so out of tune and the keys are sticking. Would love to rent again if the piano is repaired.

Enjoyed the home very much. The layout is great and gives separation.
Only 2 minor, but needed, requests. Their was no toaster, and no garbage disposal cover for the sink.

3 Stars due to Unfortunate Circumstances - Should Have been Higher, Just Being Honest
First of all, the house is beautiful. We booked back in December to celebrate my birthday, my retirement and our 40th wedding anniversary. It was to be a dream get-away for us. Unfortunately it happened to coincide with the Corona virus shut-down of all attractions in NC. And of course the weather didn't cooperate … rainy the first part of the week and then near record heat the last part of the week. When it was cold outside, the bottom level was cold, the middle level was comfortable, but the upper level was hot. It was difficult to make all levels comfortable. We had issues with the hot tub and when it was hot weather, we had trouble with the AC not working, but who would think you would need air conditioning in the mountains in March! Both issues were resolved quickly by Carolina Cabin Rentals. The hot tub issue ended up costing me $112.75. I was at fault (sort of) because I didn't check the water upon arrival. The first night there was no smell chlorine and foam would build up with jets on high, but I did not know this meant there was a problem (but now I know). After the water dump and cleaning on Wednesday (that's the $112.75 charge), that night and following nights, you could smell the chlorine and there was no foam build-up with jets on high. It was an expensive lesson to learn, but I now know better. Also when in hot tub during the rain, water drips on you from above deck. Again, great house - bad week with unfortunate circumstances. But we would stay again at Casa Bella and pray for better circumstances.

Lovely home & location. We had a perfect weekend.
It would have been helpful to have a notebook detailing the instructions for televisions, hot tub, heat & air, laundry , trash, etc. however there were little notes laid around the rooms with tv & fireplace info.
Thanks again for a lovely stay. We enjoyed eating & the sunset at Crestwood Inn, Chetola, Blowing Rock Brewery, & Foggy Rock. Great restaurants available close by yet it seemed we were in a remote location!
