Nothing.
The bed sheets and pillow case had yellow stains on them. Bed sheets and pillow case were old and worn. Food was pretty much the same daily but with different spices. They did not have a variety of food to accommodate other nationalities. This was a 3 story building which are old. Bedroom doors were old and rusty and needed fresh paint. I was not impressed at all. They offered sunny delight for orange juice. This is something I could purchase myself in the the United States. It was not fresh. We ate out most of the times during our stay.

The location is perfect if you're looking to stay close to the night life and places where tours can easily pick you up.
The cleaning staff cared about our issues, and always asked if we needed anything and helped us when one day it rained and the floors got wet and it was really dangerous.
The rooms AC did not work, it did not cool and leaked all over and left water all over the place. When we complained about the AC not working and told the staff the room was getting really hot, they said they would escalate our issue with management (that was it). The front desk staff was overall not really helpful and/or kind.
For every room you had to use the stairs which is not ideal for elderly people. The rooms had a smell of a very potent detergent or disinfectant that did not go away. The bathroom looked old, but it would be okay if it was taken care of, it seemed like they stopped caring ages ago.
We paid for the breakfast included option as we were going to stay out most of the day for most of days staying there, however, during our first day we wanted to have lunch to which they told us we couldn't as we only could have lunch if we paid the full amount of the lunch included option for all days (as opposed to paying for our single plates of food).
Last, I had requested via this page that they updated our reservation to 9 adults 3 children, which they did not do, when we got there we had to pay an extra for one of the kids, which is mostly okay, but would've been nice to have a good communication and know that upfront as opposed to just getting the info there. It seemed really off.

In general, the hotel is in bad shape. Construction was happening while we stayed and noise was an issue. Meals were bad and the facilities worn down. It is a shame because the location, overall layout of the hotel and the beach are one of the best in Cancun. Sorry to say I would not recommend it.
Cleaner, calmer and with quality food.

Nothing else was positive
First of all, we pay $140 for one night
I am not sure if that's reasonable in Cancun or not, however when we arrived at the hotel member of the staff pull us on the side and invited for a complimentary lunch which was in the other hotel.
We decided to go! What a mistake! Tuned up that we need to give our details and listen to some sort of presentation for 90minutes then we can have a lunch. We have left expressing that this is not what we have been told. The guy who welcome us escorted us to the security gate like we some sort of criminals!
Once we collected our keys later that day, the receptionist said that we had an upgrade to premium and that we are very lucky! Well.. the room was outside the main building with no path way to get to the front doors, had to walk through the grass! The doors didn't work! We had to call maintenance man to fix it.
The room was extremly small with miniature bath room! The shower was that old that the water spill everywhwre. Had to use the pool towels to clean the barthroom after the shower.
We went out as you do in Cancun, got back just after midnight, we both were in bed falling a sleep and suddenly someone put extremly loud music in the pool area! It was around 1am in the morning!
We had to walk to the reception to let them know as noone was picking up the phone.
After 30min they put the music down, around 1.30am
Room number 3011 however no number on the door.
Terrible stay! Stay way from this s******

Great location, great music and good servers.
Property is understaff which makes the customer service poor at times. I booked an ocean view and upon arrival I was told I would have to pay more for an ocean view room. Had several issues with my room like the ac broke one night and the sheets and covers had stains of blood in them. They had a chef for the meals that was almost never there or in a bad mood. It just didn’t give a family friendly vibe

location
the staff was very impolite.
they were even yelling me and my friends who just arrived from airport to see me and go to a wharf to take a ferry.

the outside looked ok since i didn’t really know where or what building i was gonna be in, the office is separate from the rooms into a few building. beach was trash smells like fish, seaweed everywhere.
a far a the room i was put in #112, very outdated, the shower was very bad looking no water pressure, no mirror big enough to see your self. actually there was only one mirror in the whole room it was for your face above the sink in the restroom. the entrance door was from the 60s at least. no fridge!
3.0 / 5.0
The room was spacious, but the electric outlets were with problems to attach the chargers
The breakfast doesn't have a container with EGGS and when asking the staff for some, they don't know English. They avoid contact with you if you don't speak Spanish.

All inclusive package was very reasonably priced, and the private beach was wonderful. The view of the sea with the hammock on the patio was amazing!
The room was a little dated but still comfortable, there was a small mix up with our room the first night and it couldn't be resolved until the following day.

Attentive staff, multiple restaurants nearby.
When it rained, the rain came into the hall and in front of the door; however the good news is it didn't go inside the room.
