Quiet location. Free parking Interesting historical house
Industrial cleaning smell in room. Tired room. Minute, and I mean minute shower room. Being an old building there was no double glazing so cold drought from window. Worst aspect was having to go over the road for breakfast (luckily not raining when we were there) . Scrambled egg was over cooked and watery. Smoked salmon was off cuts! Poached eggs were hard. Check out was 10 am which was rather early if you were on holiday (£25 if you wanted to check out later). Public rooms were dingy.

Bath with shower attachment, but no attachment to wall and poor water pressure.
So no proper shower facilities.

Lekker ontbijt in een stemmige, stijlvolle omgeving. Ruime kamer in een heerlijk ouderwetse stijl met een goed bed. Gratis en veilig parkeren.

We stayed here for our honeymoon 38 years ago and always said we’d visit again! We were so looking forward to it and how very disappointed we were, the bed was a nice size but everything else 😩
We could clearly hear the people (lady) in the room next door. I could smell cigarette smoke until about 11pm which made me cough on both nights. But nobody to manage it after 6! The windows needed cleaning and carpets needed cleaning - so disappointed is an understatement, especially as it was our anniversary. Don’t get me wrong - The history of the manor was amazing. Just think Edward VII built this for his mistress Lilly. He would stay there and socialise with Lilly and guests, before he became king.
The house was beautifully decorated outside and Reception The receptionist was lovely and helpful.
It is in a lovely avenue filled with trees and only a 10min walk to the beach and 15/20 min walk to Bournemouth town centre.

The staff were lovely, tried very hard to please; the room was fine, nothing special but perfectly serviceable.
I would have preferred a King size bed

It's a lovely property. I liked that we had a separate living area and the size of the bedroom was nice and big. The location is lovely. They supplied drinking chocolate and herbal teas instead of just tea and coffee and we had some lovely biscuits, on both our nights stay, supplied.
The mattress was slightly uncomfortable, so I used a spare duvet and put it under the sheets.

Beautiful and clean very organised and the bedroom was really nice with comfortable bed.
Check out too early.

Lovely history, lovely rooms and staff. It’s a stones throw from my elderly mum so perfect for me.
Location, staff and rooms
2.5
Large room with balcony, 4 poster bed and large whirlpool bath.
Shower was very small, mattress was rock hard, toiletries were not replaced, nor were the tea bags. There were lots of hairs on the velvet chairs and the room was rather dusty. Breakfast was awful! Sausages were raw and black pudding soooo overcooked, eggs were runny despite asking well cooked.

Amazing, friendly, helpful staff!
Lovely breakfast available in the duster hotel just across the road again with the most friendly staff.

Good location and interesting history.
Customer service lacking, felt as though we were imposing by arriving an hour early and questioned about the lack of iron and ironing board, oddly.

Location was very good the breakfast was very good
Not enough toilets on the beachfront and could only pay by card for anything

The jacuzzi bath was broken and did not work. The owners attitude when i reported this in the morning can only be described as appalling.

Great location and the hotel itself is quite cute.
the staff was extremely helpful and nice.
it’s VERY noisy!
You can hear people talking in the other rooms, or when anyone is walking in the rooms or corridors.
Also, our toilet did not have a heater, so it was extremely cold.
Breakfast is served in the hotel across the road, and with time slots booked which is a bit of an inconvenience.
Finally, the bed is extremely small. My partner and I were “rolling” on top of each other during the night.

The breakfast was outstanding with many options to choose from!
I couldn’t work the hotel windows (I’m not sure it was possible to) but they did supply an air conditioning fan unit which more than made up for that!

The Langtry Manor is a beautiful, elegant hotel with a fascinating history. This makes it a lovely place to be.
Nothing!
