Rundown. Breakfast appalling, dirty plates and cups breakfast staff ignoring guests. Location overlooks incinerator in hospital grounds. Expensive. Save your money.

Staff
You have to pay add ons now where before there wasn't any ie £5 a day car park £5a day pool and now it more like a hotel for working man

disabled facilities in the bathroom were excellent and the beds were comfortable.
I did not imagine the bar and restaurant was a sports bar when I booked our stay.We did not like the noise generated by televisions and the people cheering and shouting. This was a young persons hotel and I will avoid it in the future.

Friendly check in staff, lovely family room and swimming pool

Bedroom was clean
Bar staff were hopeless…..tables full of dirty glasses everywhere….in the afternoon we spent in the bar our glasses were never cleared…pretty much same with all the tables….looked a right state! This was def not due to understaffing as there was around 6 on duty, just laziness and lack of ability!

It was in a nice location
The main table in the bed room had lots of stains what looked like blood on when we arrived- wasn’t clean. Also, in the morning we was accused of using our breakfast voucher before we went down. Which wasn’t the case and very frustrating.

The rooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms were also of a good size. Everything was clean and seemed well looked after.
Generally the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The pool and changing rooms were of a high standard
Would definitely stay again.
It was a shame that breakfast cost £10 per child as hardly any of our kids ate anywhere near £10 worth of breakfast.
8.0
The pool and comfortable bed.
Breakfast wasn't great.

easy parking , good location
lady on reception told us we had to pay £5 for the parking for the Sat evening, We did question it and she insisted that it was £5
luckily we saw the signage with the parking details and a different young girl amended it, We are still awaiting for the money to be put back into our a/c

Staff was really friendly. Rooms clean and spacious. Not far from the beach. The pool was amazing

It’s easy to find and access.
There was a plate left from room service down the corridor for two days.
The room was a little tired

Very comfortable bed. Good sized room. We arrived late in the evening and left in the morning so did not get a chance to explore the hotel and its facilities.

The location
The carpets need a good clean or replacing altogether
7.0
Good location, easy check in with auto check, comfortable room with a decent bathroom.
Nice bar, restaurant and a coffee shop on site.
Although the room was comfortable it was in need of redecorating & none of the charging points worked.
Extra charges for use of on site facilities, pool, gym.

hotel room was fine
Lighting in the bedroom was bad. With one floor light and one bedside light, could hardly see properly. Requested another light but ended up with another bedside light which was immovable and it was on the other side of the room. Needed another desk lamp.
No water glass.

poor
cleaning standards. behind the toilet was filthy , went to use iron which did not work and then took ironing board from a dusty wardrobe ,could see all the dust. I put my jacket in that wardrobe which wasn’t clean . went in the cold pool. swimming attendance more interested in chatting each other up. not looking at the pool . if you drowned they would not notice. I will be taking the go HSE.

Only issue was if you had a room close enough to the workout room you are hearing one hell of a DJ set early morning and until maybe 9pm at night. Other than that I enjoyed the stay

Big comfortable bed, bar area, lovely bar food, Starbucks, showed sports. Close to amenities. Nice breakfast also. Really easy self check in. Polite staff.
We got stuck in the lift!!...eventually after 15 mins we got out. Lift out of service for quite some time!! We were level 4...so we had a lot of stairs to climb there after, as did the other guests. No bath, shower in the room was lovely and big, head of the shower hadnt been cleaned properly for quite some time... Our toilet wouldn't flush properly at times. The steam room by the pool was out of order. The people above us were walking around their room till early hours like elephants...
