Breakfast was lovely we got a window seat every morning..... kids enjoy the different selections and the fact that they had fruits after breakfast.

Room was okay. Breakfast fine. Location not too bad. Indoor swimming area needs major improvement. The indoor swimming was just dirty area.. like public toilets. No where to change and put your things. the worst indoor swimming
the bar area was nice. very bad about charging customer for parking

Location was excellent buffet breakfast was excellent so much choice in cold food and hot food tea and coffee great to
Nothing it was high standards

We liked the location of the hotel.
it had indoor and outdoor pools.
We had to pay for parking, which most hotels do charge these days but we thought it was reasonable.
the room was a bit dark as it looked out to a roof with a brick shed .

Brilliant location good facilities , very friendly helpful staff especially the cleaners
Very dated , understand it is an old property but it seems some rooms have been updated and some haven’t . The dated rooms made it feel unclean and dingy , also would expect a small fridge at least and some plug socket either side of the bed . Some communal areas are very shabby to

Beautiful views generous size rooms
Stains on carpets and furniture. Needs wood flooring and updated furniture

Nice location
You have to pay for parking which works out at 30 pounds for a 1 night stay ,the room had marks all over the carpet ,1 tv didn’t work .the breakfast was precooked under lights which is never a good thing and the orange was watered down to consistency of weak dilute-able juice and trying to converse with staff was hard work

Tired property but full of charm, very clean and great value
Little tired

Very big, room was massive
Some parts of the room was dated, looked like a leak on the sink as was all falling apart, room wasn’t cleaned on Wednesday so had to make bed myself and had no milk to make tea

The staff was always helpful and polite and the breakfast was okay. But the location was the highlight for me.
To me, it looked like the hotel management simply abandoned the project a while ago. The rooms (and the facilities in general) lack maintenance. Our room had some pieces of the painting and the wall falling, the carpet had a lot of stains and burns. The the thing that was mostly disappointing was the cleanliness: the room was disgustingly dirty, to the point we had to clean some parts of the room ourselves, because we didn't want our daughter to be there in that state. We stayed 4 nights and some clearly dirty parts of the room stayed dirty. The curtains were full of stains and dust. My wife spent the entire trip sneezing and with bad allergies because of the state of the room. The pool wasn't good either. A lot of stains on the tiles and space around it.
I wouldn't stay in the hotel again. It's quite expensive so the cleanliness is simply unacceptable.

Although it rained all day, the service here was excellent, everyone willing to help. Chloe, in the spa area must be singled out for special mention. It was our anniversary and she got us a free drink using vouchers and looked after us for the whole afternoon. Excellent.
Watch out for the parking, staying several days will cost at least £10 a day.

The location and spacious rooms. Decent breakfast
Not being able to use the outdoor pool. It was closed. Curtains in room where falling apart. Bits of the material falling off. Blind in bathroom terrible wooden mouldy thing. Shower just dripping all night no matter how much we tried to turn it off. Parts of interior in hotel very tired looking. Even a lick of paint in areas and plain new curtains. It has so much potential really without overspending.

Position is very good very close to sea beach and rooms are good in size.
Swimming pool not at all working. This is really disappointing and one of the bathrooms didn't have hand shower facility.

The toilet didn't work in the room for Charlotte Johns she reported it and had no response in resolving the situation.

Great location and beautiful sea view
The furniture and decor was a little dated

The hotel was comfortable and staff pleasent. The view from the top floor of the was brill as we had a corner room with balcony. Breakfast was ok.
The breakfast was ok but the hot food was only warm and often had to wait for the dishes to be refilled, (think due to not enough staff). The décor needed alot of updating. The curtains in our room were threadbare and disintegrated in places. We did raise these issues and were informed that a lot of updating would be taking place in the near future. Let's hope they keep to their words for everyone else's future.

The room was a great size but dirty and shabby
The bath did not hold water
The shower did not work
The phone in the room did not work
No bed for my son on arrival
The kettle did not meet the plug socket so dangerous
Room service of hot food was cold on arrival after waiting ages for it to arrive
Not enough staff at the hotel
Manager was not ever available
Could not use room service unless I ran up and down the stairs which, I did frequently
A catalogue of disasters from beginning to end
The deputy manager was very apologetic and pleasant
The room was not fit for purpose, the offer to move us was to a smaller room that with a toddler and a large dog would have been totally inappropriate and squashed
It was a stressful short break away with my surviving twin, his brother wasn't well and passed away sadly
We went on a short break away together for twin 1 to have some mummy time and fun
All in all, not a restful or stress free break away

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great location. Superb breakfasts both mornings we were there, food was excellent. We love how dog friendly it is and our 11 year old son loved the swimming pools!
While our room was fine, plenty of space and very clean, it was a bit dated the bathroom needed some tlc, the bath needed the re-sealing and some paintwork and the sink and tap were stained. this didn’t affect our stay in any way though, superb hotel overall!

The views from balcony in superior rooms are wonderful, the position is perfect to be able to see the sea from my bed is why I keep going back 👍
As a solo visitor it does get quite expensive but it's worth saving for to have a lovely getaway.

The suite that we got was very modern big and nice ! the facilities are very good too , all the staff was very nice , friendly and helpful specially the guys on the bar / restaurant and big shout to Jordana in reception and Nikki! they help us with everything! the hotel look more 4* the decoration is really beautiful!
I think the spa area( the pool and the jacuzzi need a better maintenance ( walls) and deep clean sometimes or cleaning often, the 1st day we were there was absolutely clean and amazing but the 3 day you could see the difference.the jacuzzi and pool wasn’t clean properly you could see on the sides of both jacuzzi de pool dark stains everywhere and not very clean water. is very sad because the space and everything is incredibly relaxing 😌 and beautiful

Our room was comfortable, and the bed was too. Loved the seaview. The room was lovely and warm.
Enjoyed the use of the spa on both days. My partner had a massage, which he loved.
The reception was friendly and helpful.
We thought the breakfast was superb.
In our room, we could hear the music from the bar. On the first day, it was quite loud. We did speak to the barman, and it wasn't so loud or disturbing on the second day.
I felt the bar needed some general cleaning. The tables were sticky from previous guests. Also, there is no fruit to accompany my gin and tonic. This was blamed on the fact that the kitchen was closed..... not good enough answer for me.
