it was in a central location, able ti take the dog and park on site
Saturday evening was busy and drinks and cocktails took a while to come. we booked in to eat in the restaurant and it was too busy also and we ended up leaving to eat somewhere else. lunch was amazing 🙂
9.0
The staff, the comfy beds, the breakfast. When we arrive the room we were allocated was dark and stuffy. We asked for another room and the staff were helpful in handling this. Thank you.
The shower. Terrible water pressure.

Centrally located, very friendly and helpful staff! The hotel is beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfy and the rooms spacious enough to relax a little after a long day of sightseeing. The lobby is a nice place to relax. The breakfast buffet is well stocked.
There is no gym on location, and the wellness is not included in the price. the wellness area is small and the jacuzzi was not working, so rather steep on price/low quality. I feel they should not advertise the gym, as the gym is not even in the same buiding.

An Oxford institution, very well located. Great breakfast, helpful staff. Modern bathroom, recently renovated.
The room was indeed very small. I cannot image spending time there outside sleeping times. Mattress very uncomfortable and cobwebs on the ceiling.

Interesting hotel - very much about the style, history and location. Various bars were really pleasant, with attentive but not overbearing staff. The rooms are quirky and reminiscent of a bygone era, which will appeal to the target tourist crowd.
Check in was very slow and then got taken over by experienced staff, effectively berating the 'junior' staff in front of us. Should have just given adequate training up front. Admin account for the hotel was hacked, and received phishing attempt through the app asking for money. When I pointed it out to the hotel that they had been compromised, showed little interest. Introductory messaging through booking.com provided a text message number to request add-ons. I did so (requesting parking option). Never received a response, so arranged my own parking (not easy in Oxford)

The feel of everything, the location and the facilities.
Needed more breakfast options.

Great room in good location.
Please put in good reading lights above the bed. It doesn’t cost much!

Room was on the small side

Front desk & concierge service
The restaurant/meals/service was terrible. We paid £75 for a chateaubriand which was tough & of poor quality. Breakfast was badly organised & understaffed. The fact that it was a buffet, set out in a different room, was not pointed out to us & we were not asked for our hot drinks order at the table. When we were able to get the attention of a waiter, we asked for coffee. This was delivered to the table in a pot & was stone cold. We had to wait a number of minutes for a replacement, this being delivered only as warm & not hot. Overall the dining arrangements were very poor & not worthy of a 5 star hotel. Premier Inn breakfasts are more superior.
The fire alarm system appeared to be faulty, There was repeated soundings on more than one occasion, these ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes. Very disturbing.

Encantador hotel con habitación pequeña pero bonita, cómoda y vistas . El personal encantador tanto en recepción como en el restaurante
La ubicación de la televisión con respecto a la cama acabas con el cuello dolorido

Reception staff war very kind but too slow

Comfy beds, nice decor in the rooms. Good location.
We opted for a king size room to give us more space. The room we were given was a very long walk away from the lifts - as a pregnant lady it wasn’t ideal! The corridors are a dated / tired but the rooms are still very clean and nice.

Location
I don’t think it justifies its 5 star rating and if you are going to pay such amounts I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I was double charged for my room and the staff were very unapologetic about it. I had to squeeze a free drink out of them for it when at most places if I was going to be out of pocket in excess of £500 for a couple of days due to their mistake I would have received some form of monetary compensation. When I finally was refunded they decided to settle all room bills as part of that without telling me or sending me an invoice. When I challenged them about that they said they would email me this but of course that never happened.
Very disappointed with this place to be honest.

床非常舒服, 房間雖然不大但需要的都有, 浴室不錯
雖然從火車站要走過去一小段距離但是旁邊就是公車站,可以直接到達outlet
離商圈也不遠

Really lovely hotel and great service. Lunch was very good.
Room was very small, it was described as a room with a view but the noise from the road/drunken Friday night people, was very loud. Breakfast was good but the size of plates suggested a pessimistic view of people taking advantage of the buffet and it felt like eating from a side plate. This made the dining experience disappointing.

It’s a lovely hotel and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are lovely professional very polite and welcoming.
My only criticism is that the menu in the Alice really does need more options. Even though the food is great the menu is too limited. But the staff are lovely and very professional.
8.0
Very pretty rooms staff quite friendly some very friendly done not so friendly more abrupt but always polite
I liked the coffee machine
It was a quiet room and very clean
Generally a lovely happy visit
Central to Oxford and all the museums and shops
Nice dining room and lobby with bar .
Couldn’t open windows properly
Bed almost too soft in room 345
Coffee cups supplied rather small for a big coffee capsule ( no room to dilute coffee )
Perhaps at the cost of the rooms breakfast/coffee should have been included
Not terribly hygienic having cushions in the bed without covers ie that can’t be changed between visitors
8.0
Location and authentic decoration. Accessibility and location. Value for money.
Bed was not very comfy. Carpet is old and not very clean.

Booking in and car parking went very well. The room was a good size and the air conditioning was very welcome.
I preferred the service in the breakfast room when I stayed during 2022. The self service was OK but not as good as it was previously. I didn't like the decor in the refurbished dining room.

All staff were welcoming and friendly. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage as well as after we checked out. The room was clean and comfortable with free water, decent toiletries and bathrobes. Room was a little stuffy at times but the aricon sorted that out. Central location, would definitely stay again when visiting Oxford. Highly recommend.

Hotel met expectations -- good location, helpful staff.
It is an older hotel, could use some updating. But it was still comfortable. Even though there is an elevator, you may need to heave your luggage up a half-flight of stairs, depending on the location of your room.

Locatie, het met zeer veel zorg ingerichte hotel

Great location in central Oxford. Walk to everything. Alice is a lovely restaurant.
Not great sound insulation in the rooms. Creaky floors! Lovely staff but sometimes the service seemed a bit confused.
7.0
Traditional decor;spacious room
Simple requests from the room (fan; milk for coffee and tea) had to be repeated repeatedly!

Amenities all in one place. For example Afternoon tea in drawing room, meals at the Alice and drinks at the Morse bar which were all reasonably priced.
Car parking facilities and location. Plenty of water in the fridge was great too.
Some of the tables in the Alice were wobbly and needed stoppers underneath which were easily displaced
10.0
Hotel was in excellent condition and you could feel the Grandeur
Not sure about the Graduate Hotel theme - more US rather then Oxford Uni

Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location with a beautiful and exceptionally comfortable room.
6.0
The friendliness of the staff and the decor
Quality of the food and non availability of Gym despite the price paid.
5.0
The location
Tired decor and half the staff seemed not interested when we asked for table to be cleaned in the drawing room they said yes reluctantly then never came PLUS was stood waiting at the Alice whilst staff just milled around not noticing us.
Sink was blocked and no chair by the mirror
7.0
Beautiful hotel and a great location
Cold showers on the Sunday, bedroom requests i.e. milk, pillows not actioned, long wait for the lone gentleman manning the leave luggage to be able to attend to us.
For a very expensive hotel this was disappointing.
