Super central with good sized room. We left our backpacks pre check in and found them in our room on check in - nice touch đź‘Ź
Tiny shower room and steep stairs to access room

Liked nothing. Non-existent breakfast which we WERE expecting. Whole hotel looked like a building site from outside.
Only lukewarm water in the mini bathroom. We were told the water temperature was dependent on the external temperature - nonsense! Eventually fixed so could have warm shower. The kettle wouldn’t fit under the tap in wash basin, although kettle small, so had to be filled by putting water in drinking glass and emptying in. Only 4 small milk sachets left on tray and used in one go but no-one on duty in reception to ask for more, and no intercom or phone to contact anyone. Felt very isolated and abandoned. Very tight fit with ridiculously large bed and wardrobe. Could barely open wardrobe door.

Very close to town and walking distance to main attractions. comfortable bed. Good value for the price.

We got upgraded to their sister hotel - Great George Street. Excellent location. Nice room. Overall pleasant stay.
No iron in room

Very suitable for a one night stay for one person, but for a longer stay with my wife, would cross the road to your other hotel or go elsewhere eg The Mitre. The staff are convivial & helpful; the redecoration light and clean, the bottled water welcome. Location is excellent, in the centre and less than 10 minutes walk from the station,
Unfortunately the redecoration was poorly finished eg paint finish, grouting in the bathroom. The bathroom lacked a shaving mirror and /or a second mirror to reflect the back of the head. On a cold day the room radiator could not be turned on (This was overcome by putting on the towel radiator & leaving the door open, but probably uneconomic). Coffee & tea but no hot chocolate or biscuits and no directions re the TV operation or other facilities.

Very clean - vey helpful and welcoming staff. Very well situated in the centre of town just a short distance from many tourist sights.
The corridors (but not the bedroom) of the hotel had a lingering smell of drains. The bathroom radiator was too hot and could not be turned down!

It is so terrible. It looks so bad and the decoration is very bad. I don't know why it has a star. When I came to the Hotel, there is no waiter at all.

Good spot in town, clean and simple room
Totally missold as a four star. It's effectively managed rooms and a 3 star, suitable for students or people just needing a place to crash

Location and hotel was good.
Heating in room was too hot, couldn't turn off or down. Heating was noisy all night. Also there was a green ceiling light in room which didn't turn off and due to these had terrible nights sleep.

Location next to the theatre
I was asked for a photo identification which I had never been asked for in the UK and had not been warned beforehand
There were no towels in the room
The male receptionist was not professional and didn't seem to know much about what was required.
2.5
Room was small but fairly comfortable.
No lift, no parking, no bar, no restaurant. 22 steep steps to reach reception. Fine if you just want a bed and no more. Very disappointing if you actually want a hotel.
Air con was present but wheezy and ineffectual.

The place of the hotel was perfect
Too many stairs, the corridor was smelling like sewer

the staff was very nice, also the view
the toilet seat was broken and a light didn’t work

The hotel was in a very good position, with a lot of restaurants and close to all historical monuments
The room was very small, we were with our child and there were a lot of stairs and it was uncomfortable with the stroller and the area was restricted to traffic and this was not mentioned by the staff.

Superb location for city centre. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Good keycard access for main entrance
Room didn't feel like it matched the price and felt dated. Shower not the best. No milk for tea (not really an issue, but found out too late to do anything about it!)

Location good. Room nice size

Had only booked a few days in advance but on arrival it was shut with note on door that booking had been transferred to 'sister hotel'. The replacement hotel was probably similar standard but more dated and did not have any wifi. Not very satisfactory.
