The hotel has an old charm to it, slightly dated but we liked it.

Location was brilliant great views of the surrounding hills. Breakfast was excellent.
Hotel was inside is an old building, which was beautiful, but could have had a little updating to present the full beauty of the building itself.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and very hot, the rooms were quiet baring in mind that there was a wedding reception taking place that evening. And the breakfast was really nice with traditional Haggis and a varied selection of other breakfast items. I would definitely stay here again.
The bar staff were under a lot of pressure due to the Wedding Reception taking place which meant a longer time waiting to be served for food and drinks, but I guess I'm really just being a little picky.

Staff , price and location
Food was dissappointing. corridors could do with painting and new carpet

Nice gardens nice quiet village
This property is worse than tired, needs a lot of money to get it up to scratch.
3.6
Lovely location, charming property, and truly excellent service from the staff.
Veggie options on the menu are a bit limited but the food we ate was delicious. Room was tidy but could have done with a deeper clean.

All staff were very friendly and helpfull, food was really nice.view from room.
On arrival the outside of the building was lovely ,but entering the building the reception area and lounge area to left were very dreary and dated, but the staff were extremly friendly and helpfull. On finding our way to our room it was very clean but decor was tired .Our room was clean spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable,t.v worked well plenty of coffee and tea bags. The dining room was very nice and well organized with lovely helpfull staff, breakfast was very nice and the one evening meal we had while staying there was very nice too.The area in front of the hotel had a lovely garden area to sit in the sun.

The comfortable matress
Stained pillow slips, dust all over the bedframe, stained seat cover at bedroom desk, non adjustable showerhead, dirty breakfast table and no room service when i returned late at night

Great hotel with a very Scottish feel and look. The staff is always nice and helpful. We have been there a few times and always back to this hotel when we are around.

the location
property is super dated and in urgent need of renovation. The smell of food from the restaurant was coming up to our room, the fish smell was nauseous. the carpets are stained and super old.

Nice staff and nice breakfast

Breakfast was good with excellent choice of items. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent: welcoming and friendly and responded to issues immediately. Having a room on the ground floor was appreciated.
We had booked the 'lounge' menu for our first evening. For this we were located in the rear billiards room. This was occupied by a very noisy family which spoilt our meal a little although the staff probably could do little about this. Parking is an issue if you arrived anytime from late afternoon. There is an a rear car park. but it would have helped if clients had been advised to park at right angles to the hotel rather than parallel.

Wonderful classic building with easy access to northern Cairngorms if travelling by car. Friendly and helpful staff across all areas of the hotel. Excellent food including breakfast. Very clean and comfortable rooms. We highly recommend Nethybridge Hotel.

Reception staff on arrival were very welcoming. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Dinner and breakfast very good. Overall excellent value for money.
Some areas of the hotel like the corridors were very tired and in need of upgrading but it kind of added to the old quaint Scottish hotel feel.
3.6
Staff were lovely and the location was handy for our roadtrip. I'm vegan and for breakfast they had toast with jam, hashbrowns, tomatoes and beans available.
The room wasn't that clean and the building itself is quite old and run down. The shower was warm at best and had low water pressure.
3.6
Hotel very grand and great deal of history. Nice location.
Evening meal was nice but plates overloaded with chips, quite ridiculous. Lack of local ales at the bar. Staff at breakfast were quite rude and behaviour was unprofessional. Shower was cold and with no pressure, bedroom window rattled all night in the wind. Insufficient parking.

The staff was very friendly.
The building is poorly kept. It is terribly old and it feels abandoned just like an old motel. The carpet in the ground floor corridor smelled like rotten broccoli. It smelled so bad that we had to stop breeding for a few seconds while walking there. The painting on the wall was cracking. The general public areas were like falling apart. The bathroom in our room was super cold compared to the rest of the room and when We took a shower a loud noise resembling a screaming dying animal lasted for all the time the shower. Considering that we paid 250£ for 2 nights it is not worthed the money at all. We have never been in a hotel that cost so much offering so little. Save your money and go to another hotel

the building is showing its age food just ok

The hotel was lovely, very relaxing sitting by the coal fire. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The receptionist was always smiling and asking about your day, the waiter/barman Michael made you feel so welcome, he was so attentive to our requirements, nothing was a hassle. The staff are an asset to the hotel.
There isn't anything really that we didn't like. If I had to pick something, I would say it would have been great if there was a dart board in the games room.

welcoming friendly staff, comfortable room, dog friendly bar with nice atmosphere, lovely walks direct from door

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping do a lovely job of keeping the rooms clean and it was quiet here.
The breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs were not cooked in my opinion so I sent them back. Staff were very helpful and offered to put it right but it had put me off especially as a pregnant woman so I declined. The bed was like sleeping on concrete and so I didn’t sleep at all during the night.

Staying in early January, the hotel was warm & cosy. The food was good & there was plenty of choice at breakfast.
Some of the reception rooms & corridors were a little scruffy.
3.6
Breakfast was really nice. Plenty of choice. The area was nice. Hot chocolate and bath in room.
Room felt small and dated for the money paid. Wasn't cheap and was expecting more luxury

Beautiful period building with some original features. There was plenty of room the beds were comfy the bathrooms lovely and clean and the bedding was so soft. The food was amazing and very generous portions. Staff were so helpful and friendly made you really feel welcome. The full sized snooker tables were an added bonus for the males travelling with us.
We couldn’t get the windows to open when we were a little too hot in the bedroom.

Friendly staff, delicious food, great location, comfortable spacious room
