great location and very comfortable rooms, pity about the pool

Fantastic location overlooking the river and just across the road from the bustling town.

The pool was really warm like bathwater with lots of chemicals. I couldn't stay in it. After a long day sightseeing, it was a real disappointment as I had booked the hotel especially for the pool.

This is a huge complex . Would have been really something in its day. The rooms are comfortable enough massive sized bed . bit of overkill . Nice balcony overlooking the pool . Don't really understand why some reviews complain about the position of pool . About 50 metres from the street and private enough. Good sized pool and comfortable lounges . The staff were very attentive and polite . Spoke good English . Big selection of food for breakfast . Hotel was full so a bit like a cattle muster at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the centre of busy area .

Come on guys spend some money on a bit of maintenance at this grand old place . Looking a bit rundown . And rip those baths out and put walk in showers get rid of showers over skinny little Bath ..a chair and table would be a good idea on the balcony

Great location

Its location and the river views. The staff are wonderful.

The pool loungers were as hard as a rock, I was unable to sit on them and relax. Most rooms need to be refurbished, we upgraded to a junior suite and were much happier with that.

Amazing location!

The property’s locations in Hue is incredible. It has a desirable lobby and a quality breakfast area with a great view of the river.

Staff had assured me they’d modify my room to be the one double bed as requested but despite to additional requests beyond the initial booking this was not completed.

Comfortable and Relaxing place to stay.

Great hotel- walking distance to night time walking streets- quick taxi to Hue Imperial Palace- Super comfortable, good swimming pool and a wonderful breakfast. Staff were helpful and courteous.

A very happy wedding anniversary vacation

We loved that the property faced the river and it was central to a walking area with lots of restaurants and little shops. As it was our wedding anniversary, the hotel generously upgraded our room to a larger one with a huge bathtub. From the door staff to the reception desk, our needs were promptly responded to and taken care of.

It’s rainy season jn October, and we definitely saw the river rising very rapidly and it hampered our touring options (not the property’s fault!) they were happy to provide large umbrellas for us.

Good position.

Good location, close walk to good restaurants. A cab ride to the citidel and Dong Ba market. Right on the river. Pool was big. Friendly porter called Loi!

We enjoyed staying at the Huong Giang Hotel, and would recommend it to everyone.

A wonderful stylish hotel with a nice pool, and wonderful staff, what more could you want! We really enjoyed our stay at the Huong Giang Hotel and our room was fabulous with a huge comfortable bed, and was equipped with everything you need.

Next to the Perfume river with idyllic view. Very prime location and is close to everything. The staff was very nice and helpful. Swimming pool was clean and nice.

Very noisy with thin walls and the busy traffic outside. Interior is quite old standard now.

Fab staff who made stay lovely.

The staff were fab! The breakfast was also fab, and we requested mugs for our coffee - they described their cups as queen cups and we wanted king cups! 2nd morning king cups at the ready for us. Location for walking street perfect however it was a little noisy but that is the nature of the beast. The view over the river was beautiful and the market across the river was so interesting (not for the faint hearted though)!

Unfortunately the hotel is a little tired but we all have to remember these lovely people have had no financial support during COVID and lockdowns and foreign visitors are only just returning so bearer this in mind.

A little tired but excellent staff

The hotel is in a very good spot for the centre of Hue. The tour desk was very useful and booked us a private tour to see the pagoda and tombs. Our transfer to the airport was also arranged.

The hotel does need a face lift and the bath in our room wouldn’t keep the water in for long as the plug had been adapted.

I would not recommend this hotel to my mother in law

The porter was very nice

The door to the patio was not secure so it was noisy constantly. The bed was hard . The shower is in a tub the breakfast only had 2 fruits and the coffee was undrinkable. I paid for an upgraded room that did not look like the pictures at all

the room is very outdated , electrical outlet are outdated , no outlet for computer charger, our room so noisy because it locates near stairways, coffee is terrible, breakfast is not very good either
