Was close to where I was working.

Upon arrival, there was no one at reception. instead, a note was on the door to say which room was ours and that the key was in the door. My concern was that anyone could have accessed the room and stolen something or caused damage and we would be held liable. The room was very poorly lit and made reading difficult. The shower was pushed up against the wall and needed to be untangled and the floor of the shower was very slippery and there was no rubber mat to put down to make it safer. When we left in the morning the reception area was again unmanned, so we followed what others had done and left the key in a box by the door. When reading the information about the room, a $15 breakfast was listed as being available. This was not so! A rather rude waitress pointed me in the direction of a bakery for breakfast but never provided an address or details of opening times. We were extremely disappointed and will never return to this motel and will ensure all our friends won't suffer as we did.

A basic room, satisfactory for our 2 night stay. Had some difficulty filling the kettle as tap spout too close to edge of basin. Staff not on site on arrival early afternoon.

Easy walking to town centre

Town is fantastic, hotel very average. Reception only open from 8.30 am until 2 pm, restaurant door close at 8 pm. Receptionist very friendly when we finally met her
Room old and tired and needs a good clean, probably got what we paid for.

had all we required

This property was clean, the staff friendly and provided excellent value for money. The bed and pillows weren't particularly comfortable, but still ok for a couple of nights. The TV is a good size, and the shower pressure great. The biggest complaint is the lack of good lighting, it was impossible to read at night

Outside doesn't look great but rooms are clean and comfortable. Was mostly quiet and a nice place to stay except for loud motorcycles. I never saw anyone at reception, just got my key in the door and stayed, I didn't need any help from reception so no complaints!

Nice four day stay comfortable and friendly staff

Nothing really to write home about. Old, rather run down motel with only benefit of being right in the middle of town.

Needs to be freshen up and deep clean

Great location & restaurant food excellent

This is pretty basic accommodation. It's kind of threadbare, but clean. The walls are thin, and we heard noisy people all night from all over the area. It's near some good restaurants (a surprisingly good Thai place is about a minute walk). No breakfast at the Lodge, but they do have dinner. Rooms are small, everything is old, but it's reasonably comfortable.

Room had a bad smell and nothing like pictures. In bad need of a revamp.

Property seems to have undergone a recent renovation as all fittings and fixtures were brand new.
Reception was unmanned when I arrived, but arrangements had been made despite the short notice between booking and check-in.

Disappointed that the restaurant had such a narrow range of food options; it just catered for those who like spicy foods.

Nobody to meet us when we arrived, just a note on the office door advising which room (and other guests) were allocated. When I contacted the management to enquire whether the restaurant would be open I was informed that it would remain closed for the entirety of our stay as the management were taking a Xmas holiday! Shame as, despite being very dated, the room was very clean and comfortable.

It was comfortable. Small screen tv. It would have been good if there was a microwave and extra crockery to use for breakfast.

Great stay, business overnight, clean and nice beds

The property was very modern for the small town of Queenstown where everything surrounding was dated, but beautiful.

We had to stay in Queenstown because the fires had cut off the road. It was alright but not a place I’d choose if I had a choice.
