das Gesamte Hotel , mit dem sehr freundliche Personal, dem gemütlichen Zimmer - einfach alles.
🧐… eigendlich nichts

Staff were very helpful and moved us to a more comfortable room in the main building at our request, as our original room was directly opposite the noisy smoking area, with a large gap under the door!
Room was well equipped with large bottles of toiletries.
The external rooms could be re-evaluated. The first room not only had a gap under the door; the toilet seat had to be held up (awkward for gents!), and the window had large cobwebs. Thankfully we were able to be relocated.

Evening meal and breakfast great. Room spacious and comfortable (room 17) Coffee / tea in room very good, with 'proper' milk in the fridge.
The other 2 rooms we had booked for our group, were rather cramped (rooms 15 and 16) They also had fridges, but attached to the wall and my 89 year old mother-in-law hit her head on it twice as you had to squeeze past to get to the bathroom. To be fair, I mentioned this and was told they were looking into it.

Vi bodde här en natt för att ha nära till flygplatsen. Boendet var otippat bra och hotellet är i sig värd en vistelse. Fantastiskt fint rum. Trevlig pub och matsal. Fin frukost.

Everything. This is a remarkable place that is totally amazing. It's all the little touches that make it stand out. A handwritten card in the room with its beautiful illustration to welcome me. Super comfy bed, Bramley toiletries which I have at home so adore. Proper milk in a glass bottle, not single use plastic pots. The Sipsmith sloe gin in the room which was divine and such a treat. The staff are fabulous and the food is sublime. The option to settle your bill and check out online the next morning is fabulous. So easy if you are in a rush. Parking was plentiful and the outside space is lovely to sit in on a warm day. The building has been sympathetically refurbished so it keeps all of its character whilst presenting a modern stay. Fabulous.

Nice atmosphere, relaxed but still a treat, super comfy bed, nice shower, fabulous breakfast, engaging staff, parking on-site.
Coffee pods in the room that don't tell you what flavours they are? Making your own toast at breakfast when everything else arrives on a plate?, No fried bread with a full English? If you need a cr*p overnight you will need to wave your arms frequently to keep the bathroom lights on....

We have stayed here numerous times and never fails to disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean and classy.
They are also doing a terrific job with the Christmas decorations!
Nothing to dislike about this place.

Loved the historic building, the staff were wonderful , the food was excellent we are there every night at our favourite table. The bed was super comfy once you 'climbed' into it, my partner had a lovely birthday surprise made by the chef with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate. The hotel is right in the centre of Wendover with ample private parking, our room was at the front In the old building. The character of the building has been kept, we even got a hug on leaving!!!!
What didn't we like? Probably leaving, as it was very homely and the staff were wonderful.

The room was lovely and so were the staff
We ordered the Cote du beuf..unfortunately it was chopped up like dog food and over done.

Comfortable room with, much needed in this heat, Dyson fan. Breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh, hot & tasty.

Breakfast was amazing. Shower & products were wonderful. The bed was comfortable. I loved the sensor and low lighting in ensuite. Thank you for the fresh milk. I liked the written welcome as well as personally shown the room.
Coffee machine did not work properly. Noise at night, glad we came without kids.

Beautifully appointed and well thought out with wonderful welcoming staff with a great attitude. Awesome breakfast and the cutest of villages. We are fussy travellers and we will be back!
Nothing not to like!

Although the room was on the small side it still had everything we needed and some nice touches. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfy. The complimentary gin was a lovely touch. Location was great with easy access to restaurants, pubs and walks, a great place to stay to explore the area.
We had been looking forward to sampling the food in the restaurant, but the meal on our first night was very disappointing so we ate elsewhere for the rest of our stay which was a shame. There was some noise from other guests, mainly dogs barking and people just being loud this was only on our first night and wasn't the hotels fault. The central heating could be very noisy at times, but not for long, I guess just while it was heating up? & to be fair, despite the few negatives we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didnt like leaving.

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Good choice of cereals and pastries plus a great choice of hot food cooked to order.
Lovely location with ample parking.
The bathroom was a little cramped but it was the petite double room and so would the bathroom would have been smaller than other room choices I assume.

staff were very friendly, parking available at the property, cleanliness of the property was excellent, included in the room was coffee machine which was a bonus for us as we love our coffee. Bottles water, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, fan, iron & ironing board. Bed was very comfortable, room decorated in a very tasteful manner.

Bad value for price. Stayed previous night in Premier Inn. Half the price & twice as good

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and each time it is has been very enjoyable, clean rooms & friendly staff
It is the breakfast that lets the hptel down, one time we stayed breakfast service took ages. The last time we stayed we had to cancel the breakfast, after waiting 30 mins after our order was taken we had to leave for an appointment. Not great!

the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable

Lovely country pub / hotel, great find. Really friendly staff and easy check in. Only disappointment was the bar menu was not available in the evening and our budget did not stretch to the a la carte menu, which did look brilliant but out of our price range I'm afraid. Thanks - we'll hopefully be back!
As above - evening menu pricey.

Lovely room, wonderful shower and toiletries, great dinner, staff couldn’t do enough for you, it was a quality break.
There was nothing to dislike!

The room was excellent, the choices of tea and coffee, the daily chocolates, the sipsmith gin, quality bathroom products etc etc etc- all exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Free parking.
There isn't anything I didn't like, however, would be good if there were more options on the bar menu for an evening meal and a slightly lower price. That being said- I'd stay again.

Room was lovely but would have helped of we'd been shown the fridge hidden in the cupboard. 🙂. Staff friendly and professional.
Dinner and breakfast was very ordinary. The eggs Florentine had too much spinach so was wet and the hollandaise had no flavour. The eggs Benedict had that cheap kind of folded up had from the supermarket. I would expect better at the price point. The dinner was overpriced. The succulent pork was dry and the mash and vegetables uninspiring. Felt like the meal was driven by cost and not flavour. Felt like a menu put together by a corporate team rather than a chef. Would have fed back at the time but nobody asked how it was.

the room was lovely. the food was great.
the service at breakfast was very poor.
this is not the place for a speedy breakfast.
the waiting staff need to watch the room
to ensure no one is looking to catch their eye.
From ordering breakfast to it arriving took about 30-49 mins!!!
