No cumplen las reglas, hay niños en el hotel child Frei, hacen eventos de despedidas de solteros lo cual te rompe la relajación, permiten que jueguen con balones dentro de la alberca, mucha gente aparta lo camastros desde las 7:00 aunque los usen hasta las 11:00;

I loved how clean & quiet the adult side was. the pool was absolutely beautiful and peaceful.
everything was wonderful

Alejandra was amazing, as well as Paul. We were upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. Our suite status allowed my friend and I access to The Hacienda as well, which was a nice option. The folks working here made it a very nice stay despite some of the food stuff I mention below, which could be unreasonable expectations on my end as I've never stayed at an all-inclusive before.
The buffets (especially the fruit) had flies all over them, not extremely appetizing. The chilled items weren't really chilled also, couldn't trust the yogurt and ceviche much. When it rained, there didn't seem to be much infrastructure for guests to navigate that (one umbrella station near the front desk) and there were buckets catching drips everywhere. Maybe some of this will change as the hotel is shifting in November from a Hilton property. However, the Hilton benefits I had as an Honors member were the best part? Hard to say how the hotel will be in the future.

great location, great pool and staff, preferred buffets over restaurants.
I would have selected a ocean view over the shared pool if I stayed again. no view and didn’t really use the pool. only thing I liked was that it was on the ground floor and close to the pool.

We enjoyed the hospitality, the genuine people, and most importantly how it gave you straight access to the beach.
The food was up to par. It was humid in our room during the whole time, though maintain assistance us is the issue. The level we were stay on, level 2 was under construction so there were board all over.

Great location and such a clean facility. The food was always good and freshly prepared. The staff was so great and always accommodating. Room was sufficient size and very clean. Wonderful view of the ocean.
There is some construction going on but they were pretty quiet as it was being worked on.

very ugly old property. it’s not value for money

The concept of adult only roof top bar and some restaurants not allowing minors under 13 did not sit well with me. Limited activities for those who are there with children is not worth the money you pay to stay here.

We were upgraded to the adult only side—the Hacienda. It was very nice. The adult only pool area was the highlight of the trip.
The food was not great. It was mainly there to keep you alive. Poolside snacks were the highlight.
All of the bars closed very early except for the lobby bar.
All restaurants were reservation only, except for the buffet which made it difficult for any last minute plans.

The resort needs some TLC. The food was horrible. The rooms were in pretty bad shape. If you have kids you can’t eat at all of the restaurants. The restaurant reservation process is a joke and there was a serious lack of vegan/vegetarian options.

The exterior was well maintained and clean.
The rooms need more care and attention to detail. first room we checked into the adjoining room door was missing a lock which allowed the guest next door to basically open their door and enter our room with ease. Definitely not secure or gives you privacy. Staff was very attentive at the front desk. maintenance was dispatched to the room and we patiently waited while they tried to fix it. after about an hour they realized additional parts were and we were told we’d be assigned a new room. After several hours we didn’t get the new room assignment until I went to the front desk where they apologized and gave us new room keys. the second room wasn’t mush better, the sink was clogged and the room didn’t appear to be cleaned and replenished properly. high touch surfaces had dust accumulated and basic maintenance was lacking. We decided to just stick it out as our first day checking in was not smooth and we had already lost our one half a day of relaxation and activities.

the location is stunning. perfect pools and views of the ocean. serving staff by the pools was always attentive and kind
the facility needs some updates. The rooms could use some detail work and cleaning, plus updating. whole hotel feels dated.
food wasn’t good either. we had a few decent meals, but in all it left a lot to be desired.

The service and food was great!

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner needed more authentic variety. It was too bland.hamburgers were charred and hot dogs were raw. I loved the birria de res and menudo option on New Years morning. This place needs more good food like this.
The facilities need maintenance and upkeep. There’s mold growing in the showers. The bathrooms where the toilet space is need more privacy. The concept is so bizarre. You can literally hear every fart a person is making. It’s disgusting. You need more umbrellas by the pools. At least 1 for every lounge chair. The towels need to be updated they’re old! And changed out daily especially if they are intentionally left on the ground for housekeeping. The landline phone dod not work. The hotel advertised free WiFi but charged guests to connect. Other resorts include this! There were not enough activities for guests. The resort is boring. You need to include more things for kids.

the staff was very friendly
the hotel was old and outdated, our room had a mildew smell !!! We were wandering why there was a ceiling fan?? It was because the air conditioner didn't work properly. This was the first time that we ever had a bad experience at a Hilton hotel

The property has BEDBUGS , since we arrive all went wrong. Service was very poor nobody excuse with us. service was terrible. The pictures are false advertising. The staff don’t even know where the rooms were located. They change us 2 times if rooms, one of them smelled humidity. This was the worst experience of my life. And at the end of the stay we got bitten y BEDBUGS!!!
everything was terrible

Food at the buffet and the restaurants were delicious. The breakfast chilaquiles were exceptional! Fresh juice and pastries were awesome. The snacks and food down at the beach and by the pool were perfect!
The only thing I would make a note of is that the room was a bit smaller than advertised. The amenities were on point but overall size was lacking. Still, for the cost, I do not think that I would have found a better value.

The rooms on the jacuzzi wing had a beautiful glass wall rooftop which we enjoyed a time or two while there. Great location near two malls and a Wal-Mart. The pics of the blue chairs out to the beach are obviously old or precovid but the chairs they had out were adequate. The best restaurant on site was LA Catrina. If you go make sure to order the Duck Tacos!
We stayed on the Hacienda side with a swim up pool. The room was good but we had to turn the hot water on under the sink after each of us took a cold shower. I recommend staying in a jacuzzi or swim up room. Our pool needed scrubbing but it was adequate. . There were no on site activities, and drinks are highly watered down.

The majority of my stay was beautiful and I really enjoyed myself. The staff was awesome!
The check in process took over an hour and checking out took time too. Also the room I reserved was not available for me until day 2 of my stay.

The Mexican Restaurant, La Catarina was outstanding. Augustin and his team provided excellent customer service and care. The food was delicious at La Catarina only.
We did enjoy our swim out.
The property is not a good representation of the Hilton chain! The property needs to be renovated. The cleanliness is substandard. The drapery was dirty and worn out. The walls need a fresh coat of paint. I had to clean the light switches as they were visibly dirty. Every day we had to ask for wash clothes daily (our stay 6 days/5 nights) as only 1-2 wash cloths were in the room daily. Upon requesting enough was clothes for 3 people in the Jr. Suite, we were told our request was for too many towels.
The Italian restaurant served our dinner cold. Risotto does not taste good cold. The lack of attention to detail was disappointing to say the least.
There needs to be a restaurant opened for a hot breakfast. Our only options were buffet style breakfast in open outside areas without the food being covered. We also say a worker using his bare hands in putting French toast in a warmer. Disgusting to say the least!
We had to go off the resort to get breakfast.

The food was horrendous. The drinks were worse we each took one sip of the margarita and couldn’t take another. Reminded me of a cheap cruise

Bathroom is really bad the water comes out from the shower and you have zero privacy on the toilet

Nothing besides the location
Everything, the bed sheets were dirty and they never changed it, they charge you for wi-fi, staff is always mad and treat customers poorly, they entered my room to bring another coat and took the one we had when we specifically asked for another one beside the one we already had and it’s “all inclusive” but they charge your everytime you ask for room service, and don’t take note on special food requests. One of my worst traveling experiences.

The amenities were wonderful! The staff was so attentive, cheerful, and intuitive to your needs. The location to the boardwalk & a Catholic Church were ideal! Concierge very hospitable and accommodating!

Nothing
Nothing, this is literally a terrible hotel, we were poisoned in an Italian restaurant on the territory of the hotel. It's old, the rooms are old, the towels are old and they don't change the next day. My family don’t like this place.
