The room was quiet and spacious
No fridge, as I carry mediation that needs to be kept in a fridge. Did not check this out before booking.
The fan in the bathroom did not appear to work. Towels did not dry out. We did try to contact staff by phone, but it was a weekend and our call was not returned.
Not much choice for breakfast.
No tissues.

The stay was brilliant, exactly what we needed to rest up after a late night flight arrival.
I was shocked to find only a sheet on the sofa for my son to sleep on. Would be better if a mattress protector was also used. Especially as he has a dust mite allergy

All very clean and tidy. No complaints
Nothing not to like!

Very generous room sizes, excellent value for money. We had dinner in the attached pub and you get 20% off as a hotel guest.
TV remote didn't work.

We booked 2 rooms via booking.com. However, when we arrived, we were allocated only 1 room which is a family room which accepted to us assuming that is what available from hotel and its sufficient to accommodate all of us. However, after we left the hotel on next day, booking.com send message about no show. We replied saying that we arrived and stayed as booked via booking.com. Booking.com replied that they will investigate and check with the hotel. However after few days we were charged by the booking.com for no show therefore the hotel did not informing booking.com that we actually came & hide the mistake by the hotel staff. We emailed the hotel questioning about the charging as there is obviously something is not right. The hotel replied the extra charged is for the now show. We provided to hotel the booking number and the hotel replied that we booked 2 rooms. Obviously the reception did not do her job correctly and honestly. If in the system is showing 2 rooms under the reference number, why in the first place she only allocated us with 1 family room. We came in a a group of family and it is obvious that we need one big room or 2 rooms. She should inform us that in the system there is 2 rooms booked but she decided not to ask or say about this and instead provided us only 1 family room. We have explained to the hotel in the email but still they said the charged for no show. This is NOT RIGHT and NOT ETHICAL by the hotel. The booking.com reference number is only 1 number and she should be able to check in the system and provided to us 2 rooms instead 1 family room and charged us another room as no show. Currently booking.com is charging us for 2 rooms with no show within is not correct!

We were disappointed with the breakfast it took a long time to be cooked and there was a shortage of cutlery plates cups and glasses. It was not good value for money.
Not very well cooked and very slow service not the waitresses fault she was working alone on Saturday and it was busy.

The location was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were part of a football squad who had to be on our way by 9am each morning. The kitchen staff and Assistant Manager (Wendy) came in early so we could all have a breakfast before leaving.
They were superb 👏
Can't complain about anything

The room we had was a family sized one,, spacious and clean.
The location was quiet and set near a nice country park Facilities were fine.
The town of Redditch can be done on foot, which we did and used the train. There a few shops nearby.
The pub and gardens were we stayed were welcoming. The garden has a good view, seating/tables.
The.pub offers a nice menu, staff were friendly. Plenty of parking.
I cannot think of anything currently.

Room was clean, comfy and had almost everything we needed. Staff friendly and helpful.
Would of liked plug sockets either side of bed, only had a double on the one side over the coffee station area.

Excellent contender and equal to Premier Inn in every way except price. This hotel was significantly cheaper! Very sweet girl checked me in very efficiently. Room was very clean as was the bathroom. I had eaten already so I didn't dine but I had a drink the bar. Bar staff were courteous too. Bed very comfy and I had a good night's sleep. Plenty of milk, tea and coffee in the room. Continental breakfast was fine. I've seen some of the negative reviews and it definitely was not my experience. I have to travel from Lincoln to Kings Heath, Birmingham 3 or 4 times a year, so this hotel will certainly be on my list for a stopover.
Nothing.
