Very comfortable and quiet. My girlfriend had her best night’s sleep in a very long time.
Nothing.

Clean, comfortable, quiet
Green light above the door in bedroom added too much illumination. Fire door outside room slammed shut after anyone passing through. Shook the room!

Really friendly and helpful staff. The evening meal was great.
Music from downstairs was pretty noisy till about midnight. The green safety light!!! So bright it was like trying to sleep in daylight. Fortunately I had an eye mask.

Food was excellent
Landlord and land lady were excellent hosts and the locals who frequent this public house are not any cause for concern i.e. guests will not be made to feel uncomfortable
Location was perfect for my reasons for being in the area
The shower over bath tub arrangement in the room was difficult to use, removal of the bath tub and a dedicated shower cubicle installation would be better

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were really helpful and friendly we had three rooms and stayed in a lot to eat there
the wifi was very patchy

We had a great time and the staff were amazing. Epic food too!

The bed was very comfortable
The bathroom was in very bad condition. There was a hole in the floor by the toilet and the toilet seat was broken, the hole in the floor was about 12 inches by 10 inches. My husband actually fell down it in the night. I told the manager, his reply was oh yes another customer told me about that yesterday .

Not included in price.
Felt unsafe as door handle was only attached by one screw, so i was unable to lock door from inside. Mentioned this to staff when checking out.

I could not fault anything.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a lovely time. Wish it was longer
Nothing was all good.

Old features like beams in ceiling and wonky floors. Nice food and friendly staff. We stayed in winter but thinking outdoor area would be nice in summer
Shower over bath was a bit basic but owner is in process of renovating.

A very nice pub stay in a friendly village. Clean and spacious rooms. Very good value for money, will definitely stay again.
The crockery in the room wasn't the cleanest I'm afraid, and the shower fittings had seen better days, but small things easily fixed.

Excellent breakfast of what appeared to be local produce - and plenty of coffee! Homely, cozy and easy going - even a dish of recently roasted chestnuts on arrival!
Hard to complain as they had only taken over the pub 5 weeks, what mattered was the welcome!

breakfast was very good
room needed a good refurbishment including new mattresses

Quite accommodating to our requirements. Excellent breakfast.
Good situation for our local visits.
There was a constant security light on in the bedroom which was quite disturbing. The "free WiFi" wouldn't connect.

The pub is a lovely olde worlde building with loads of beams & character.
The breakfast was very well cooked.
The accommodation was in need of updating & decorating.
There was no breakfast menu or choice offered other than a full English. Orange juice was waiting on the table but other than tea/coffee there was nothing else on offer.

The cleaner was super friendly and very helpful.
Atmosphere when we arrived was nice, and the food was good.
The accommodation was fairly basic, however this wouldn’t have been a problem but the owner was unfortunately very hostile, rude and unhelpful.
We didn’t know the area and so asked advice and the response was extremely minimal and passive aggressive.
Every time we requested anything, even a glass of water at breakfast, we were met with no verbal response and a real attitude.
It was a real shame.

I decided to book breakfast and wasn’t disappointed , well worth the money you pay . The room was comfortable
Wasn’t aware that there was no kitchen on a Tuesday evening , I did however arrive late so it didn’t make a difference overall

very hot room , mattress was uncomfortable, bathroom and furniture in bedroom old and cluttered

The village was stunning and you could tell the pub played a key part in the community.
The wifi wouldn’t connect and the TV was tiny. Aside from that everything was great.

Breakfast cooked to order. Pleasant atmosphere for breakfast. Great location.
Shabby decor - particularly in the bathroom.

The garden and the parking was good and the location for traveling was good
Bedroom was pleasant and clean, bathroom needs attention, cracked tiles around the shower etc.
We booked for an evening meal in the very smart looking restaurant, we could not see any menus, only for Sunday lunch. Our table was booked for 7.30 and at 7.20 we had a phone call to say that unfortunately there was a problem with the gas and the kitchen would not be open, we could use the Pizza shed in the garden or go to the Old Bull across the road, which we did and it was brilliant, very welcoming and friendly. Good job we hadn't booked for breakfast.

The food at THE BULLS HEAD is above average for a pub . Breakfast is excellent and
the evening meal was also of a similar standard . The room is quirky , with low ceilings
& beams ' but this adds to the character of the building . Parking is convenient .
A bit of TLC to some paintwork is needed , but it would be a shame to over ' modernise ' as some pubs do and then spoil what they already have .

The room was a bit tired

Lovely country pub with traditional and interesting bar and restaurant area perfect for a great night away with a nice meal a few drinks and accommodation on site.
Room was lovely and bed was very comfortable just needed a coat of paint and tidying up a bit especially in the en suite.
