Good location!
I chose to leave the night I was here it was that bad and find somewhere else in the area.
The place is grim as soon as you walk in. Incredibly overpriced for what it is. The place is very cold, dark, eeire silent and unwelcoming, there are much better places to stay for your money. Neil and Cally are rude and nasty indiviiduals, f you ask for help at any point and unwelcoming. No sign of life at all, the bar is locked (any paying guest should have access to this) and staff will email if you would like to book pizza, then completey ignore you when you enquire about ordering (I am glad I found a local pizza restaurant instead) the building is not maintained well, unclean and cobwebs. Staff obviously do not care for their guests and looking after the property. A few showers on the bottom floor are not good enough for all 3 floors of rooms. 1 single dirty toilet cubicle for an entire floor is not enough. Beds have no privacy. 1 charging point for a room of 8 people. I did not see one person or staff member whilst staying there and there was no information given at all on arrival when needed.

Nice area for walks & hikes, friendly staff and lovely terrace to have a drink :-)
Some feedback: unfortunately no bins or shelves in the rooms!

The place is very clean and by has parking. Very nice outdoor area. Showers get hot. Easy to stay here no fuss.
The front should be locked at night. Thin pillow. Not a lot of space to get changed after shower. No breakfast.

I use to stay there often but I did have a 6 years break. I love the location but it was so so dirty.
everything was very dirty, cold and sticky. very poor bedding and mattresses.

The staff were fantastic and the accomodation was very welcoming. Perfectly placed to be a base for adventures in and around Betws y Coed. The breakfast was brilliant and the pizza was lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on this type of trip.

It has a good kitchen and lounge to meet other travelers.
The dorm beds have curtains.
It would be good to have lockers in the dorms, and the toilets and showers need an upgrade.

Location
Cleanliness and not downstairs bathrooms.

The location is perfect. It’s close to the village with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Surroundings are beautiful with river running thru for swimming and lovely walks in the woodlands.
Close driving distance to beautiful spots like waterfalls, lakes and hiking including Snowdon.
The staff is lovely and helpful.
The place is not the cleanest but it’s manageable.
I am not sure there were washing machine and tumble dryer for travelers as that would be helpful for longer stays or people on the road trips.
I also received a message asking me what time I will arrive and would I like to order their pizza but after I responded, my message was ignored. I would prefer not to be connected at all.

nice place all round, we didnt eat there but it looked great

Lovely stay, felt like home. Pizzas were AMAZING! location was perfect, bar was great. Felt safe and respected as a solo female traveler
Only 2x PowerPoints for a room of 8 people. Lack of cages or lockers or any type of security for your bags/belongings. Front door was often left open at night. Some reading lights didn’t not work in the rooms. showers were a bit cold and pressure cause water to go everywhere.

Great place to stay, very convenient for the activities we wanted to do in the Snowdonia area. Clean, staff were very friendly, as were residents. Great pizza in the evenings and bar, but also only a short walk to the local pubs and shops. First time for the family to stay in a bunk house rather than a hotel, and they absolutely loved it. Able to take out dog, and were lucky enough that she was even looked after for us when we went canyoning for the day.
We had a problem with the comfort of the bed on the first night, but this was sorted out as soon as we mentioned it the next morning.

Breakfast was fantastic value for money, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially as we asked to change our breakfast time.
More plug sockets in the bedrooms would have been ideal, but other than that the accomodation was in a perfect location for the reason of our travel and it was a fab value for money.
