Friendly staff, nice room and we were kindly allowed to put our electric bikes in the drying room. But would encourage the hotel to provide a larger secure space for bike storage, with power sockets for charging ebikes.
Breakfast was expensive, we only wanted a bowl of cereal and a coffee so it was very poor value. We went to a local café instead but had to wait half an hour for them to open.

Breakfast was excellent, but arranged for 7.30am breakfast, as we had an appointment to keep, breakfast didn't arrive until 8.10am
Only 2 tea bags in the hotel room, not enough milk, no hot chocolate.
Although we booked a twin room the beds and quilts seemed very small, I'm not massive but my feet hung over the end of the bed and the quilts barely covered me.

Great location and the manager was brilliant, he moved all the cars round then ended up moving his car so I could charge my car.
Nothing. Would have been nice if got to stay longer. Will definitely return.

Very Beautiful building. Great location and lovely decor.
The breakfast selection could have been a bit more generous. Would have been nice to see some continental items such as pastries and maybe some Cheeses and cured meats etc

Couples trip with our dog.
We would stay again for how friendly they were towards our pup, received a dog goodie bowl upon arrival.
Dog per night was £15
Would have been 5/5 if breakfast was two of each for the full English (was 1 sausage, 1 bacon) which we thought was a little expensive at £12 each, but did taste nice.
Our pup was given a sausage for breakfast too.
And a few stray cobwebs above the bed otherwise was clean elsewhere.
Would recommend the hotel to have a ‘dog blanket’ for beds knowing we’re bringing a dog, as bedding was classic white, we went and brought a big blanket to keep the sheets clean.

Lovely stay would definitely return, friendly staff. Room a little small but for the price it was very good.
Only one plug in the room, no good when you have to charge up a couple of devices.

The hotel had a good bar and sofa lounge area. Staff were extremely
helpful.
Parking facilities were limited.
Bathroom in room was like a cupboard. Not big enough even for a hotel of this size and scale.

Fantastic location and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Nice big comfortable bed a clean room.
Parking is first in first served and can be difficult, but there is parking on the premises. Our bathroom had a strong very unpleasant smell even though it was spotless. We mentioned this to the staff on our checkout.

beautiful property obviously going through some improvements & decoration - lovely location / I enjoyed my evening meal - the shower was great - my room was warm
the public areas the lounge & bar area were very cold & the pillows were lumpy - my room was at the back of the property overlooking the car park & the smoke pluming out of a vent - but it wasn’t supposed to be a luxury night for me - I had to stay over while I was working nearby & it was very reasonable
