Modern, clean and a great location. Highly recomended.

The room was modern, spacious and clean. The location is excellent for exploring all of Devon and the food is first class. This was our second stay here and we plan to return next year.

The rates are at the top end of the scale for a B&B, but you really do get what you pay for here. We would have liked a bath rather than just a shower but that is a minor gripe.

Good value for your money considering the area.

The room was OK for the price, somewhat tired but everything was clean and worked. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price which was a big bonus and again it was acceptable without any flourishes.

Creaking floor but then again this has to be expected when staying in an older building. The cooked breakfast was one of everything which was fine as a reflection of the price paid.

Exceptional. Relaxing and helped re charge my batteries

This is now a regular haunt of mine when I am on business in the South West. The rooms are beautiful, both breakfast and dinner menus and food quality are exceptional and the Team are the friendliest and most efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed here before, nice village pub hotel, very popular with the locals

Breakfast finished earlier than we realised, so didn't have it which was a shame

Wish there was a clear notice about breakfast time as we could have gone down earlier!

Fantastic stay

Fantastic hotel. Great spacious room and huge bathroom. Really comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious, best scrambled eggs with salmon I've had. 😋 staff are brilliant, go above and beyond and very attentive. Fantastic views as well.

Great place to stay to explore that part of Devon

We enjoyed our stay The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings of our stay and the food was very good.

Only the weather on our last day but that was out of everyone's control.

Lovely Village but little infrastructure , nice friendly staff at Inn, room substandard, walking distance from both Teig

Rooms a bit dated, for a superior room we expected more, looking out onto the car park at eye level not good enough, room was cold

Overall excellent

We were extremely pleased with almost everything. The overall experience was excellent.

We booked for dinner on our first evening having firstly looked at the menu as my partner is vegetarian and we were pleased to see that there were 3 vegetarian options. We had booked the table for 7.30pm and arrived at the restaurant at 7.15pm and were shown to our table only to be told that 2 of the vegetarian options were not available.We were rather disappointed.

Excellent meal in the restaurant and two fabulous young ladies that looked after all our needs. We understand one of them had only been there a few weeks so well done!!

Problem with the TV, and no one available to sort it out and we think it was an existing fault with the brightness, brought to the managers attention who will get it sorted for the next guests.Would
