The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room size was perfect and it was nice and quiet overnight. Ray was a delight and was brilliant with my children too. It felt more like staying with friends than renting a room, which was exactly what we all needed after attending a family funeral.
Wifi would have been a bonus, but it didn't impact our stay as we all have phones with data anyway.
4.3
It was a lovely property very clean and comfortable, and close to family in the village

Ray & Loren were very welcoming and attentive during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were great hosts.
Nothing to dislike.

I loved the owners and how nice and welcoming they was very useful in giving information about the area too aswell as providing a great taxi service too all around amazing owners
Only one tiny thing would be that I’d have liked them to had a licence to sell alcohol as would have rather have them money than the tescos as it’s a family run bnb and I love to help towards those types of things

Location good, within easy walk to the Queen's Head pub for dinner.
Easy parking.
Friendliness of staff.
En suite definitely needs updating. You have to climb into the bath to use the shower, not easy for some. Didn't like using a rather short shower curtain, was worried the water might leak onto the carpet. Carpet not hygienic in a bathroom. Shower gel and shampoo provided in everyday sized bottles, almost empty. I always take my own.
Breakfast was Continental, disappointing. Lots of almost empty jars of Marmalade, etc. Sharing a large table in the kitchen might not be good for some. Communal butter and margarine containers had crumbs in!

Was a comfortable property and the owners were very friendly
Property didn’t have any signage to show location

Friendly greeting and interesting breakfast table chat

Very welcoming after a long journey, Ray kindly booked me a table at the local pub for an evening meal which was necessary as it was so busy I would not have got a table if not previously booked. The room was very comfortable, and parking right outside the front door - could not have asked for more.

The hosts are just amazing so friendly and helpful! They have created a lovely welcoming atmosphere in there home!
Nothing all amazing!!

Hethersett Lodge is a lovely place to stay. Ray was so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and fresh and the beds were super comfortable. Ray also booked us a table at the local Queens Head for our evening meal (just a short walk from the property) which was absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hethersett Lodge to anyone and can't wait to stay here again!

Lovely stay here, the staff were lovely and super helpful booking us into a local pub for dinner! Really comfortable beds slept amazingly and room was super clean and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was great too!
Nothing!

The best thing I enjoyed about my room was the tranquil view out to a beautiful oak tree and some of the village.

Plenty of choice for breakfast.
A great stay.

Location
Breakfast was not very good.
Breakfast was in the kitchen around a big table,
Food choice was poor, and even though I shop mostly at Lidl all the food was of low quality.
Cheese in cellophane individual wrappers was out of date.

The couple was so friendly and informative. Ray also helped book a table at the closest pub for dinner

The hosts, Ray and Loren, were very communicative and accommodating. We had an ensuite room with two beds. The room and bathroom were both clean and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of great conversation. This property is near the Lotus car factory, which we visited during our stay. If you are visiting the Lotus factory, make sure to tell Google maps to avoid highways so that it doesn't route you onto the A11, to avoid the construction detours. I believe construction will go on through 2024-2025.
Nothing I can think of.

Hosts were lovely and friendly. The room was big and comfortable. located in a delightful village with a lovely country pub
The room, although lovely, needs a bit of TLC

Helpful from booking to and after departure.

Bedroom was spacious with sufficient to put up a travel cot for the grand daughter who was travelling with us. The bed was comfortable
We would have liked the option of a cooked breakfast.

Location in Hethersett is good. But not much else to like.
Room very tired and in need of modernisation, and mouldy bath sealant needs replacing. Mattress very soft - doubt it is memory foam. Breakfast is quite basic and not very 'continental'.
4.3
comfortable and homely
nothing, all seemed good for what I required

Ray and Loren are extremely welcoming, good location, good value, home from home feel.
Rooms are very clean and tidy, just a bit of update required.

The breakfast was “continental’ with plenty of variety of cereals, muesli etc. We had lactose free milk and yoghurt also. Toast, croissants etc. Good company from mine hosts at breakfast. The Lodge is a good relaxed alternative to a Premier Inn.
It would be good to have a “Hethersett Lodge “ sign at the end of the private road if possible.
4.3
The lodge is situated in a quiet village within a close proximity to Norwich by car. Thank you for the healthy choice of breakfast. We will definitely book again next time when we are in the area.
