In a beautiful location and joined to an excellent pub and restaurant.
The room was tiny.

Large premises for a rural location so didn't feel like you were isolated. Beautiful scenery front and back of premises, delicious food with a great breakfast selection, cooked and continental. The staff make this place worth many visits. They are of mixed ages but all so friendly, chatty, polite, and massively dog friendly. They go above and beyond to help make your stay relaxing, suitable for your needs, and even adjust the set cooked breakfast choices to our needs (diabetic). They are a credit to the B&B, was very impressed with how sociable and polite the younger staff were as well and they seemed to enjoy the interaction with guests rather than feeling they were there just to earn their wage. Best place we have ever stayed and can't wait to go back.
Absolutely no negative comments to make, could not fault anything. Only one suggestion would be a facility or space to clean dogs down in winter as was worried about trailing muddy paws through the beautiful accomodation.. we have a mud daddy for mobile cleaning but others may not.

The food, location reputation but mainly because it was dog friendly
Our room was quite hot and noisy due to the road

The room was comfortable and all amenities were on hand. The staff were polite and prompt. Meals were great, wife loved the cod dish. EV charger onsite this was a big plus.
Light needed above EV Charing area as couldn't see what I was doing with charger.

Not too far off Hadrian’s Wall, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly.
The packed lunch offer was quite expensive, so we only ended up ordering one and sharing it. Had it been only a pound or so cheaper we would probably have bought two and spent more money overall.
By the time we’d got our walking gear in, there wasn’t much room in the bedroom.

Good evening meal & plentiful breakfast menu. Ideally located if you are walking Hadrian's Wall path. Big, hot drying room for your damp/wet clothes & shoes. Reasonable room with great views & good ensuite shower bathroom.

helpful friendly staff at reception an in the restaurant.
the kingsized bed meant very little room to move around it in a rather small room.

I was travelling in a family group and the inn made sure we had 2 rooms together. The evening meal was superb, the stargazing event was excellent. The breakfast fed us for the day! The staff were absolutely lovely. The location was amazing and they even catered for your muddy walking boots!
If I was being very picky, I would say you could hear the music from the bar/dining area in our room. That was it.

Lovely, friendly staff. We stayed over for the Stargazing, which I would definitely recommend!! Wil was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was extremely informative and very interesting. We looked through telescopes in 2 areas and then a slide show inside. This was to warm us up as it was -10° !! Then went back out, counted at least 15 shooting stars.
The food was really delicious and the bedrooms warm and cosy. Would definitely recommend. Very near to Sycamore Gap and Hardrians Wall

Exceptional property! Every staff member was amazingly friendly and quite helpful. The food in the Restuarant was quality and reasonable. Perfect for solo, couples or Family excursions. Wi-Fi was super fast. Did I mention Hadrian’s wall and Sycamore Gap are basically across the street!! :) We will be back!
