It was okay until I left some stuff in there as I had to rush off the next moring and couldn’t clean the room but all the rubbish was already in a bag and it was the bed and towel around he siad I should of left it the way it was and was so rude to me I don’t know why cause all I was asking for was my stuff and he keep telling me different times and siad the cleaning had my stuff and I siad they should have been left there for me and they weren’t

I was walking the National Famine Way and this was a real find for me as it is right on the route. Great value for money and a perfect location, central to everything.
The owner and his good wife were 2 real characters; really nice friendly genuine people who made me feel truly welcome in their home. Proud of their town and willing to pass on their knowledge of where to go and what to do. Great chats to make you feel right at home. This to me is the real benefit of staying in a place like this as opposed to a hostel or hotel.
I got one of the finest breakfasts I have ever had – a feast fit for a king. It literarily had everything. It really set me up for a great days walking. Outstanding!
Lovely room with a dual-view and containing absolutely everything I needed. Nice comfortable bed and good shower meant I was well rested and refreshed and ready for the trail again next day. Perfect stay.

Centrally located in the town. Easy walking distance to shops, cafes etc
The name should have been a clue. Right next to the railway so when trains passed house shook. Could hear every creak of floorboards when people walking. Bathroom full of drill holes. Rotary fan for bathroom out of wall and hanging by wire. Stain on bedsheets when I pulled back cover. Not a good start to a stay!

Location to amenities was awesome. The service and politeness were great.
The kettle cord was too short to have the kettle plugged in on the desk when using.

Lovely clean room, and quite for me because I'm used to the sound of trains.
Needs black out blinds, 5am is too early to wake up for a full day of work.
