Located right in the centre of the town.
Free car parking.
Friendly staff.
Too many stairs with no lifts.
Fire alarm went off and no one came to say that it was a false alarm.
Old building
Room had spiders and cobwebs in the bedroom on the ceiling over the bed.
No sockets near the bed.

Food was really nice and the staff were excellent
Room is looking a bit tired. For the money, it was the smallest room of my stay, for the largest cost.

Urgemütliches Hotel in der Stadtmitte Mullingars. Gute Betten, hervorragendes (irisches) Frühstück, guter Kaffee/Tee, besonders aufmerksames und herzliches Personal im Frühstücksraum
Gutes Parken auf hoteleigenem Parkplatz, sichere Fahrradunterbringung
Gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten über Greenways nach Maynooth oder Athlone

Nothing. We were treated so well, the hotel catered for everything, the rooms were spacious

A hasty booking resulted in a surprising treat.Interesting and beautiful historic hotel.
Excellent staff throughout the hotel. Very comprehensive and good quality breakfast.
Comfortable, clean and well equipped rooom.
Sadly, tables in the bar and restaurant were poorly cleaned round the edges and undersurface;
last night’s drinks and snacks still not cleared the following morning in bars and public areas even by 10am on a Friday morning;
upholstery on seating in some communal areas was dirty and off putting.
Would stay again despite these negatives because we think they can be easily resolved when staff are aware of them.

Staff were absolutely fantastic and were honestly a massive help! They held items for me that i shipped from the UK because i couldn’t take them on the plane, they also booked us a taxi and helped us get to where we needed to be the next day, gorgeous room no faults at all would definitely go back! :)

Loved the style of the hotel and our room. Since it is an old building, the rooms / suites have some unusual nooks and the floor is not always perfectly straight. The staff at the reception was very nice and the check in/out process was handled well and fast.
The location is well within the town center. The parking can be reached easily at the end of the side alley next to the hotel.
The rooms, while very stylish, could use some renovation.

Stayed in a newly renovated room and the finish of the refurbishment was done to a very high quality. location obviously second to none as you literally have everything at your doorstep. Breakfast as always is the best quality and value for money in Mullingar which is reason alone for booking this hotel. Parking safe and secure. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
The only thing we didn’t like about the property was having to leave it at the end of our stay.

Staff were very friendly . Location is excellent . Beds were very comfortable and the food was lovely
I had requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel as I am a light sleeper. I was allocated a room at the back of the hotel over the car park where a JCB was working . When I complained I was told they were finished and wouldn't be there in the morning . They were there at 6.30 am the following morning . I was moved to ' quieter 'room that day , but discovered when I was going to bed that night that it was situated over the nightclub !! I had been looking forward to a restful few days in Mullingar....very disappointed.
