This is an absolute gem of a property! We arrived and were blown away at the attention to detail and the quality of everything in the suite.
We were so comfortable, everything felt very luxurious, particularly the beds and the bathroom!

The apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished, quiet and well-equipped. The setting, in part of a secluded and rather grand manor house in its own ample grounds, is very beautiful and peaceful - more so than it looked from the photos. You can explore the grounds as you want. The host was friendly and helpful.
There is only one bathroom, albeit a very large one. Given the apartment sleeps six, it really needs at least an additional separate loo.

Probably the best place I/we have ever stayed. Clean comfortable beautifully decorated in amazing grounds. I could have moved in. Perfect host Perfect location just bliss.
There's absolutely nothing we didn't like.

The house is wonderful. The host Anne is spectacular friendly and kind. We were amazed by the quietness of the house and the huge area we could explore with our kids. The rooms were clean and very fancy equipped. Our kids refused to leave the place. They simply loved it there.
Nothing ;)

The tranquil and remote location was ideal for us. We could walk from the house into the beautiful countryside nearby, but we could also drive to Berwick on Tweed or nearby Duns. Ideal for peace and quiet, but not too far from civilisation!
I don't think anything could have been better. We had all we wanted and more.

We loved everything about this property, the rabbits running around outside, the trees, the peacefulness, the house, the windows!

The property was absolutely fabulous, set in a private estate with woodland all around. The facilities were superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is fairly remote, but that suited us perfectly.
Only on toilet, which was a problem at times,

The 40 acres! The kids could play & explore in the woods & castle ruins. Loved spotting the many rabbits & robins. Also loved the huge bathroom! Anne was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble

The apartment was beautiful with everything you could need, the surrounding grounds are so lovely with wildlife just outside your window. Great location for Northumberland and the beautiful Bamburgh beach and castle only 45 minutes away and Edinburgh the same distance the other side x
Nothing all good

Beautiful location, accommodation was lovely and very comfortable beds. Anne was very helpful and happy to answer any questions we had. Will be back whenever we possibly can. Didn't want to leave 😪 😊
Nothing!

The apartment was very well appointed and had a luxurious feel. Anne, the host, was lovely and extremely accommodating. There were lots of little touches, such as an amazing arrival food pack and kids toys, which really enhanced our stay.

We were provided with a welcome pack with lots of goodies, impressed with the content supplied, and kept us throughout our stay.
We experienced problems locating the property one night. Ideally, road signage would be useful as our satellite navigator was not great at finding the location...

Everything was wonderful. Anne had thought of everything you could possibly want or need. The kitchen is full kitted out and a welcome pack of food was there on our arrival.
Every room is very clean. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The bathroom is huge and spotless.
The house is surrounded in countryside to explore and we made it down to the river through the wood to watch the fish swimming. Evenings were also spent watching all the wildlife including a deer.
Wonderful relaxing few days away from everything for half term.
The only thing that would improve the apartment would be a back door onto the outside seating and garden. A full door instead of the fire exit window would have allowed easier access to the kitchen while eating out in the sunshine.

The setting and house were stunning. Loved having outside space to relax. The welcome and the food items were amazing. The whole family had a lovely time.

We loved the location and the view from the house. Facilities were excellent, and the house felt very homey, classic, yet modern. One of the best accommodations we've ever been so far in the UK. Recommended and we would love to go back!
Nothing, I think we like just about everything from the house.

Just back from a lovely short break at Blanerne House and loved everything about it. Beautiful location, great place to switch off as feels like you’re miles away from everything but only short drive to Duns and also to the beach (which we loved!). Welcome from Anne was lovely (and also the best welcome pack ever). The flat itself is very cosy but elegant too (and super clean!). Had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

Very grand house in own grounds. Lovely fire pit and outside space to play and explore. Inside very nice space, huge lux bathroom and cosy comfy living room, great social kitchen. Lovely food pack on arrival.
Only one toilet a little tricky for six. Struggled with convection hob! Taxi to Duns - £20 each way.

Perfect setting.
