Great for introverts

The location is pretty practical, within a block of the shopping and restaurant areas, within two blocks of major tourist sights like the castle, and a short tram ride away from the train station. The façade is attractive (17th century?) and the interior looks sleek. There is an elevator. It's an "apartment" in the sense that it has a miniature kitchen, so it would work for a longer stay. The price is incredibly low (less than $100/day) for a hotel of this quality.

People should know that this chain is kind of particular: there is no employee present most of the time. They send you a code to get into the building and into the room and you do everything yourself. Great for people who don't like dealing with other people, but not good for travelers who have questions and need help. You also can't just email them with a question: it would be good if they at least had an easy way to ask questions to a real person. There is a kitchen, but it is so tiny that I, a pretty thin person, had trouble moving around the bathroom door.

Très bon emplacement, au cœur du centre ville de Caen Arrivée autonome très pratique

Literie peu confortable, linge de lit aux mauvaises dimensions. Pas de volets, rideaux cassés.

TINY ROOMS. TERRIBLE SERVICE

Great location.

The room was EXTREMELY TINY. It’s supposed to be for 2 but you couldn’t even fit one opened bag. We called and send messages via booking to get some help with some things and until now NO ANSWER. To pay they made us build a user in another website, not Booking and pay 5-6 days before, which is NOT what they advertise on Booking.

Mauvaise gestion, automatisme défaillant : le code des portes ne fonctionne pas.

À proscrire si vous avez un emploi du temps serré ou que vous attendez le service d’un hôtel. Arrivée devant la porte, le code ne fonctionne pas, la gérante ne s’excusera pas. La bouilloire et la cafetière de l’entrée sont inutilisables à moins d’aimer boire du calcaire et de la rouille. Bon séjour !

Good well run property

No breakfast, but that is fine. Clean, basic but well organised and a very good private room with small kitchen.

Place is clean and in a great location but is extremely unsafe especially if travelling alone. On the last night if my stay a group had gained access to the apartments ( you are given a code for the door and your room, I can only assume they gave the code to others) from 1am until around 5.30 am the group did not stop banging and kicking doors, screaming, fighting, there was no reception so no way of calling for help, I left 3 messages on the contact page and tried to call police as it was very scary. Finally spoke to someone at around 4.30 and their advice was to lock my door and they would check the cctv, I still have not been contacted by anyone at the apartments to explain what happened or what they did about it. I was travelling to Poland at 10 the next morning , on no sleep and after having a panic attack it the middle of the night If travelling on your own I wouldn't recommend, the apartment itself was perfect but not having any contact or any security close is a no go for me.

Great location near every thing you need or want to see close to the train station very comfortable and quiet. Also close. To the tram station.

Nice stay in Caen

We came to visit the Memorial museum so for that it delivered. From the hotel is just best to rent a car because it's complicated to go around in the city without. The hotel was easy to find and is located in a nice place.

The room was super small (don't even fit a big suitcase open on the floor). Also to access the 3rd floor you don't have an elevator. It is also very far from the train station and you don't have direct public transport.

Beginning of September: it was calm outside, no noise coming from the street. Excellent location. Good quality for its price. Clean room. Good free wi-fi. An elevator.

There is no staff at the reception, actually there is no reception, instead you get a code to open the front door of the hotel and the same code for your apartment door. Bathroom cabine has a small water leakage, so I would advise you to check the isolation.

Great overnight stay

Good location in the centre of Caen. Public underground parking is available a 1 minute walk away and very secure. Good accommodation and great for a quick one night stay.

No corkscrew to open wine!

Probably a good value for money only in Caen

I did like the code access method. I also like the location of the property and the underground payed parking in front of the building. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette was well equipped although, because of the size of the room you couldn't seriously think of cooking. The microwave oven was well appreciated. The bathroom is almost a good size.

The size of the room is minute. The elevator doesn't go to the last floor and the connecting stairs creacked like you've never heard before. For the almost exactly the same money we had a double sized room with more facilities in Rennes.
