We came for a three day break to the races. We travelled in comfortable attire so weren’t dressed for racing. Upon arriv

Location was perfect right in the middle of the high street. Short walk to the races or taxis stop outside of the property. 5, minute walk to Warren hill gallops to see morning exercises

Nothing really but maybe for some would be a lot of stairs to the rooms. We were informed prior to making the bookings about the loud music which didn’t affect us as we were out late anyway.

Not a good stay.

The restaurant was nice and the staff were very friendly.

The room we stayed in is in need of repair, it was dirty and missing the little things, bedside light, toiletries, the shower was dirty and no hot water (I wouldn’t want a shower anyway in there) toilet roll holder falling off the wall, very dark and not very welcoming room, carpet needs a good clean.

Good accommodation, for a good price. Friendly and helpful staff. Food and beer good.

The hotel is in a really central location with a car park. the food in the pub was good.

It’s a little rough round the edges, but for the price, this isn’t a complaint by any means.

clean. comfy beds. good food in the pup

Old. Tired. Way too hot and no air con. Loud and noisy- street party until 4.15 am. Cramped. No lift. First five minutes spent listening to excuses about what all the issues where and why we shouldn’t have used Booking.com

Just a stop over

The check in process was fast and excellent. Friendly and informative. Food onside reasonably priced. With 20% off for staying and eating there.

Room was very small for a double, bed kept moving. We had the kitchen extractor right outside our window, it was loud and hot. It also got switched on early. Our view was of bins etc in kitchen yard!.

loveley staff, very warm and cosy, good food and drink just a shame it closes so early after travelling from Hull. Will

staff are very friendly, very clean and tidy
