Service was great. Stayed for our 33rd wedding anniversary and we were well looked after.
Even got a complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch.
Thanks to all at the Bull Inn from the Willsons.
Loved it all.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal in the evening was excellent and it was lovely that as a big family group we had a separate room.
The bedrooms are quite expensive for what they are. The Inn is next to a very busy road which is noisy all night. Breakfast was disappointing. Not a huge choice and a few things were unavailable not just one morning but both mornings.

Location

The 5 friends we met there.
The most senior staff member who worked very hard but looked jaded.
Seemed to be understaffed.
Food was average quality pub grub, prawns served under cooked, this is not in the 5 star hotel category. Why is it a 4.2 star hotel?
British Hotel, summer time (nearly) but no Pimms, seriously.
Lack of spare pillows in rooms.
We didn't get to sample the "amazing Great British breakfast" at The Bull, as the cook didn't turn up that morning.

parking , bar downstairs and convince
for one nights stay for passing through its ideal . room and bed was a bit on the small side but did the job .

The staff is absolutely amazing! Especially Vicky who went out of her way to get us some sticky toffee pudding and ice cream after the kitchen had closed. The building is really great and the location is fabulous.
The bed was hard and really hurt our backs.

it was a great location as we went for a big New Year’s Eve walk. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was gorgeous. Ellie was especially helpful!
the New Year’s Eve buffet food wasn’t very nice but the staff made up for it helping us any way they could!

The pub/hotel is a in a beuatiful old building in the village ofg Barton Mill. Staff were very welcoming and the room was high quality with a comfortable bed and lovely modern bathroom. location is next to a busy dua carriageway yet somehow it doesnt seem to notice. the bar area is cosy although we didnt use it.
the breakfast options were limited although this was down to staff sickness and we were still well catered for with a big pot of tea and toast.

Comfy bed , warm shower, fantastic food.

Convenient for our trip for a one night stay.
Rooms ok and bed very comfortable but the milk bottle chandelier in room lazy cow makes a lot of noise when anyone in the room above walks around!!
Friendly staff.
Two of our group ordered rare and medium rare steaks and both received well done!!
Could be a bit cleaner in all areas

the room
the wait for food. the staff didn’t care. I spent all night awake/ill with type 1 diabetes due to the issues at dinner.
I sent a email in to the hotel to explain the issues we encountered as it really was terrible. I received a kind email back and the offer to rebook a room to stay again and I’ve never heard back since.
we have stayed here a few times and have always loved it but this was so unbelievably terrible.

The staff at the Bull Inn were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quite nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The towels were very thick and plush. It was nice that fans were placed in the room to make it more comfortable. Breakfast was very good each day. The hotel restaurant was also very good.
Although the location is very convenient and quiet in a nice setting, it was quite far from other restaurants and stores.

very helpful and accommodating.

Location is good, next to the A11 but you cannot hear it. The room was fantastic - always ask for the Zebra room - open ended bath, large and the bed was comfy. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly, left a good tip after our very tasty and well cooked meal - we had the Butchers Block with 3 steaks and plenty of sides, yum. It is a pub so you expect it to be noisy and I really don't mind that as the rooms are based around the courtyard.
It was a perfect stay for the money and I would highly recommend.

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel as it was close to a charity day my daughter and I had travelled 3 hours to get to. We Checked in at 5pm and headed down to the "Award winning restaurant" for dinner only to be told there is no food. Apparently the website saying the restaurant is open until 9pm is a mistake. They suggested we drive to the next village to another restaurant. At this point I was so upset, hungry and disappointed I asked for my money back and my daughter and I left to drive home ( another 3 hour drive ).
Absolutely awful that we were not told there would be no food for us and also that we were allowed to book, receive confirm AND check in and pay without getting this information! I would have booked a different hotel so we could have stayed locally.
Such a shame as on first look this hotel is full of potential and I was looking for somewhere to book for 10 guests for the May 23 event.
Overall the place seems lacklustre & tired & its a shame as its a great location & could have been a great stay.

The venue is great..staff are friendly and polite food was lovely..accomodation was comfortable. We were here for the foul players murder mystery dinner. It was brilliant..and tge staff executed the food deliverance very well.
Was quite noisy from the A14 had to have our windows open as it was very hot.. bar had run out of quite a few drinks that we had requested. But alternatives privided.

The Manager was good and changed our original room for one a bit away from the road. The second room wasn't as big but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Decent (but expensive) breakfast; we had an evening meal which was nice and fairly priced.
It was hot so windows had to be open and the road is busy and noisy. No hairdryer.

its a pub with good parking near to the base.
the food was terrible , the breakfast not ready at 730 when it should have been - I left without any

Meals were very good.
The room decor was weird.

Received a complementary breakfast as a thank you for what we spent the evening before which was a lovely touch and appreciated. Excellent breakfast.
Had the steak butchers block for Evening meal. Steak was excellent cut and cooked to perfection!
Cushion in bedroom was grubby with stains. We had kettle and mugs in room but no tea coffee or milk.

quaint quirky
the rate not including breakfast :( after a few drinks and a good nights sleep we wanted a good breakfast but didn’t really want to pay £16 for it so went down the road to McDonald’s.also always double check your bill in the restaurant we had the table behind us Jäger bombs added to our bill - I have eaten here previously (not stayed) and the same happened then a bottle of wine was added to our bill and neither of us were drinking
