Brian’s house is a great getaway, very comfortable, nicely appointed and stocked kitchen. Communication with Brian is very easy. Short walk to Cabot Beach and the best restaurant in the neighborhood (the only one😊) - Malpeque Oyster Barn. Try the seafood chowder!
Saw the aurora borealis the last night we were there.

The cottage was nice and well equipped but were very disappointed with the false advertising of the view.
We purposely went with your cottage because of the view as advertised; "Cottage View- you have amazing views of malpeque harbor, sand dunes, beaches and open ocean"
This was NOT the case at all. We even emailed the host directly before booking and asked if it was as advertised as the ocean view was the most important thing to us and the host promised it was. Instead of an ocean view as advertised, it had a view of other cottages, trailer park and their garbages.
For the price we paid we definitely are disappointed.

The owner is a very good communicator. The house is clean and comfortable with a modern flare. The area is super quaint with farms, wetlands, a quiet fishing bay and Cabot Beach which is gorgeous, has warm water, easy parking, clean washrooms and a playground. There was no stress involved in our stay which was literally what the doctor ordered for me!

Brian was so easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. The home was very tastefully decorated and provided many amenities - lots of towels, beach chairs, beach toys (we didn't use), W&D, stocked kitchen. We had lots of privacy as we were last house on lane. Location was centrally located to places we wanted to visit. By far Cabot Beach (just down the road) was our favorite. Lovely front desk to watch the boats going in and out.

Brian is a wonderful, friendly host with excellent communication before & during our stay.
The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was a wonderful space to prepare meals.
It is very conveniently located to several wonderful beaches (Cousins was our favorite) and fish markets. Just what we needed for our Island escape.

Exceptionally clean, very well equipped, comfortable beds, beautiful setting with view of ocean, close to North Cape coastal drives, walking distance to Cabot Provincial Park, many excellent restaurants both nearby and further afield. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. They made us feel very welcome.

The cottage was very peaceful and my family of six (12, 10, 9, and 6) had a really nice time. The layout was great for the kids and we enjoyed the screened in porch. We took advantage of Cabot Beach/Park and the kids LOVED catching crabs and shrimp. The water was incredible and extremely clear; it was very comfortable temperature wise.
The bathroom showers had awesome water pressure and there was a walk-in shower. There are about six steps to enter the cottage and you can see the water from the porch and several rooms.
The cottage is pretty centrally located to several other parts of the island and is about 30 minutes from Green Gables, and several national parks (30-90 minutes).
My kids had a wonderful time and want to come back again!

This rental was exactly as advertised. The cottage was super clean and was fully ready when we arrived. Brian was a pleasure to deal with. He provided prompt response to any questions we had. The location was perfect for a stay on PEI. Very central location to use as a base to get anywhere in the island.
We would stay there again for sure.

We had originally booked this property pre covid and had to move it until this summer. Brian was so understanding and accommodating right from the start. When we arrived, I was so happy with the property: exactly how I had imagined it and so well stocked. Everything was spotless and the location allowed for spectacular views. It's close to Cabot Beach which we loved, as well as a short drive to golf courses, restaurants and more. I would rent from Brian again in a heartbeat: this experience is one we'll cherish for a long time.

Loved staying at this cottage near Cabot Beach. Property is well maintained and clean. Spacious enough for a family for sure. Enjoyed watching the surf. Only downside for our family was the mosquitoes. They loved the property too. However property has a screened in porch so you could enjoy the views without too much trouble.

We had a great stay at the Island oasis! It was a nice, clean, modern cottage with everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The pictures provided are very accurate. Communicating with Brian was quick and easy. We were a group of 5 ranging in age from 5-78. Lots of good memories were made exploring P. E.I.with this cottage as our home base.

Our short stay was excellent. The cottage is probably the best one we’ve rented. It is super clean and up to date. Location is great, although it was too late in the season to take advantage of the beach. I really appreciated the detailed notes and communication provided by the owner. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The location on Malpeque Bay was picturesque and within driving distance to a lot of PEI sightseeing sites. Our stay was relaxing with all the comforts of home while being able to drive and explore PEI! The owners are very organized and have everything you could possibly need! Thank you Brian and Marilou for sharing your perfect vacation getaway for families of all ages. 😎👍

Definitely one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in! Very clean and comfortable for a family of 5 including two teenagers. Has all the amenities needed to enhance our holiday (beach towels and chairs, cooler bag, beach toys). Terrific location with beautiful views over malpeque bay and amazing sunrise! It is a quiet location which is very nice to retreat to after a busy day exploring the island. Brian was always very prompt with responding to any questions and provided a lot of information about the area. Overall this was an a great experience and highly recommended!

The Island Oasis was the perfect getaway for my friends and I. A beautiful location just a few minutes walk away from Malpeque Harbour and Cabot Beach, the later a perfect place to spend time just walking around. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable and I can't say enough about the patio where I spent every morning eating breakfast and reading. Oh, and the beds...so comfortable. It's also conveniently located just off a main highway that takes you just about every place you want to go. My friends and I enjoyed our stay at your cottage - it was just what we needed to unwind. I'll recommend the Island Oasis to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in PEI.

We could not have had a more perfect week at the" Island Oasis" in Malpeque on Prince Edward Island! The cottage was so comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything that one could possible need. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were living a dream! The view was spectacular, so spectacular in fact, that we felt that we could have spent the whole week just staring out the windows. From the fishing and lobster boats passing by, to the ever so green lawns, to the lupines in bloom.....we were captivated every day by the setting here. Every day was joy! The cottage is very well located to most everything you would want to see and do......yet we felt we were in such a nice quiet and peaceful setting. We LOVED the island.....and we hit the jackpot with "Island Oasis"!
5.0 / 5.0
We greatly enjoyed the clean, quiet cottage with its modern amenities and large deck. The owner provided us everything we needed to know for our stay, checked in with us when we arrived, and replied quickly to our inquires. Nearby cottage owners/renters were very polite and friendly. Morning sunrise views were terrific. As for beaches, we preferred nearby Thundercove Beach for full beach days, but it was great to be so close to Cabot for morning and evening walks. The Malpeque Oyster Barn was a treat and provided a great opportunity to stroll around the working harbor prior to eating the local oysters and mussels. As others mentioned, the central location provides a great home base for day trips heading both East and West. If you want to explore PEI, plan to do a fair amount of driving and don't be afraid to take a few (intentional?) wrong turns - chances are there's yet another beautiful view awaiting you!

Great location, great views, wonderful place to stay. Central access. Wonderful home away from home, with lots of amenities, close to the beach, and a great place to unwind at night looking out over the water, relaxing while sitting in the screened in porch.

We stayed at the Island Oasis for our very first trip to PEI and loved it! It is a modern cottage that is very clean and welcoming, and we felt right at home. The kids loved the bunk beds. The ocean view with the sunrise was beautiful! The owners of the cottage checked in with us via email periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. We were very lucky and had a hot, sunny week for our vacation, so being close to Cabot Beach Provincial Park was a blessing. The cottage is fairly central too - we managed to do the North Shore Coastal drive one day and on another day ventured east to Souris and Basin Head Provincial Park. We highly recommend the Island Oasis for your vacation to PEI!

Our group of four enjoyed our stay here for a week in early July. This cottage feels brand-new, very well equipped, and is spotlessly clean.
Everything you need. Well-equipped kitchen is great for meals - nice LG appliances, radiant heat cooktop, large fridge. Two bathrooms help a lot with a larger group, shower in master bath is great. Master bedroom huge Outside shower great for getting beach sand off - you want to always guard against the nice red sand getting inside, it tries to sneak in on anything!
Very pretty and quiet, but not at all isolated, feels private, you won't feel much need to close the blinds. Locals very kind and welcoming! You can see the dunes and the water from the excellent deck and when standing inside the house. Screen room is a great alternative, wonderful and cool.
Cabot beach is superb - good sand, no crowds, lifeguard, nice sandbars to explore, so close kids could cycle there. We really didn't even want to try anywhere else. Plenty to keep kids busy for a week, maybe even two.
Owner organizes things very well, lots of accurate information, courteous, great follow-up, and local support if anything needed, though we didn't need anything - everything was perfect.
Summary: Great cottage, good location, you'll be glad you chose it!

Thanks again for letting use your lovely cottage! We all enjoyed the Malpeque area very much!
We really enjoyed your cottage and the amazing location. In particular we found the following to be outstanding:
- Extra large bottom bunk bed.
- Comfy beds and pillows.
- Great WIFI.
- Deck chairs.
- View out of kitchen window - beautiful.
- Cabot Beach, the Oyster Barn and the Malpeque Wharf.
- The Lupin flowers are everywhere!
- The quiet.
- Simplicity of the Decor (not trinkets and stuff everywhere).
- Large Fridge.
- In some ways, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere; in other ways, it felt like we were only a short drive away from fun things to do.
Our time in PEI was lovely - so beautiful, friendly people, great food, fun stores

After searching and staring at many nice places to stay on line, we chose the Island Oases for its location and its view and its brand new amenities and deck and screened in porch. Late in life, I wanted to experience gazing at the water and we all could hardly take our eyes off it. The sun rise was amazingly beautiful and we got up to see it several times. The sunsets met us the first evening as we drove west from airport and we tried driving home at that time each day to see them! The stars from the deck filled the night sky! The well (100 ft. deep) water was delicious. The privacy and peace was wonderful. As the first renters we tried hard to leave this lovely place as we found it, in pristine condition, for all the blessed tourists and vacationers of all ages that will follow. The owners really did put their hearts into creating a semi secluded place of delightful rest. We found the maps were easy to follow and enjoyed the winding, hilly roads and seeing water at almost every turn: from gulf, to bay to basin, harbor, inlet, cove, pond, lake, creek or river. The island is breathtaking, the big well kept farms, lovely to see! We also saw the house where Lucy Maud Montgomery was born and where she lived with her grandparents, where she was married (museum) and the Anne of Green Gables site with its house, gardens(so lovely in spring with lilacs and lupins) the woods, Lovers Lane, the barn, the film about the author. My daughters and I had read all her books(then audio) and loved them before seeing the movie. We drove to Charletown to see the matinee Musical and loved it, too! We learned by talking to the island natives who seemed so happy to see our delight in their special place. We had not read the journals of her life and I bought them on Ebay as soon as we got home (less pricy) We ate 'at home' and took sandwiches on our drives, but we did splurge and ate Lobster Supper in New Glasgow at the owners advice. We enjoyed our first lobster and Malpeque mussels, taking platefuls home. The Bacon and cheddar burgers in the city were also delicious! We liked the little shops and gift stores and bought for our many grandchildren. Cavendish Beach became a favorite stop for sunset. We didn't fully realize that there were few food stores or gas stations (one in Cavendish) or how to exchange money. We needed rain jackets, umbrellas and mosquito repellent It was a dream trip of a lifetime made perfect by our stay at the Oases! Hope you love it, too!
