Lugar ideal para vivir la experiencia Titicaca en las islas de los Uros

El desayuno es muy bueno, y la comida en general muy buena, Nicanor es muy amable y atento, me explico como construyen las islas y como les dan mantenimiento, ademas de coordinar lo del tour a las isla de Taquile que estuvo excepcional, me dejo entrar antes de la hora de check in y me fue a traer y dejar y coordino con taxis de confianza, realmente recomiendo mucho este alojamiento si quieres vivir la experiencia de estar en las islas de los Uros, y con Nicanor especialmente y su familia, super buena opcion

me parece que no habia agua caliente, y el clima ahi es super frio, pero la verdad no es algo que me afectara demasiado

Experiencia inolvidable

Íbamos por una noche y al final nos quedamos dos. Nicanor y su familia son unos excelentes anfitriones que nos hicieron sentir como en casa y disfrutar mucho de la experiencia de pasar un par de días en la isla. La habitación era súper cómoda y confortable y las vistas impresionantes. El desayuno delicioso y el arroz chaufa espectacular! Muchas gracias por todo y abrazos a Geraldine!

Superó expectativas

Nicanor es un anfitrion formidable. Nos fue a recoger al embarcadero, se preocupó por mi dieta vegana, organizó los tours en el lago a excelentes precios. Salimos a las 5 de la mañana a Puno y a esa hora nos llevó en lancha.Como si fuera poco olvidamos un adorno de mucho valor sentimental y se encargó de enviarlo a Lima. La habitaciön familiar tiene una vista maravillosa al Titicaca y una terracita. Bella experiencia

La famille est adorable et toujours à l'écoute. L'emplacement au centre des îles d'Uros est impeccable donnant une vue incroyable sur Puno et le lac. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux !

Attention pensez à prendre une batterie portable pour charger vos appareils

Yes but..

La struttura era povera, ma comunque particolare. Le molte coperte in stanza hanno aiutato a rimanere caldi durante la notte. L’acqua della doccia era calda.

Credo che la pulizia generale vada rivista, io posso capire che la esperienza sia economica e senza pretese: però non posso vedere i gatti entrare in cucina e mangiare sopra le pentole dove poi viene cucinato il cibo. Altra cosa che non ho apprezzato è stata la mancanza di esperienze e cose da fare, sono rimasto da solo sull’isola senza possibilità di muovermi. Senza attività da fare. Un giro turistico mi ha fatto vedere per qualche minuto un’altra isola, poi un giretto in barca. Nulla più. Il signor Niccanor è una brava persona e sono stato felice di conoscerlo, ma prossima volta preferisco rimanere in un hotel a Puno

Good value, great experience

Really cool experience on the island, basic breakfast included. Dinner is 25 soles and it’s good. Transportation to and from the island 15 soles.

Exceptional

The host was very nice and helpful. The food was excellent especially considering we we on an island. The boat trip to the Island was lovely and on time and the host arranged a taxi for the return trip to Puno. The island was beautiful and the views spectacular. We were really cosy at night as there were plenty of blankets on the beds.

Floating island experience. The family is very nice. We really loved the breakfast.

The recommended taxi drivers asked 50-100% more money than the owner said.

The location is great. Not an island were big boats with tourists come. The view from the terrace is really beautiful. The family is really nice. The traditional tour they offer is a nice way to see and learn about the Uros islands, without being in a big group of tourists.

Staying in Uros was a dream come true. The room was lovely and the bedroom was super comfy. The staff was great and I had so much fun with Geraldine and Mathew!!!🤩🤩 The food was tasty and filling! The breakfast was delicious thanks to Geraldine.

Superb

Rich and delicious breakfast and dinner (25 soles per person), beautiful view on the lake. You can see milky way during the night. Quiet room and warm bad. Hot water in shower. The communication with Nicour was smooth and picked us with the boat around 5:30 am (10 soles per ride).

Island of accomodation is so small that in 5 minutes you saw everything. Traditional tour with Nicour was nice to see islands, we stopped to see life of traditional family, but we felt uncomfortable there by their pressure on buying artesanal (without previous notice).

It’s a very nice option to get to know the Uros community. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. It gets very cold at night, but there are extra blankets. I did a day tour to Isla de Taquile and a city tour around the Uros islands, both where very interesting. Highly recommended, amazing experience.

No WiFi as mentioned in the description, no electricity in the rooms to charge your phone. It did not bother me, I’m just mentioning it for other travellers. Keep in mind that you have to pay 20 soles return per person extra for the transport from the port to the islands and back.

It is a great place to stay one night to feel the fibes and the way of living of the Uros. Nicholas offered a typical tour around the Uro Islands for 50 Sol to show us more about their culture and nature.

The host was really nice and was showing us around the islands and the area by himself. There was everything you need and the host and his family were really friendly. Sleeping on the floating islands is really an experience and at night its just great to see the stars.

The area itself and the offers are really touristic but I guess that's just the way it is. Staying with Nicanor still feels kind of authentic compared to the big companies that don't care about Uros traditions.

Amazing Experience

Amazing Experience with Nica and his family. They offer a very nice accomodation on the lake, very good food, arranged tours for us and even explained a lot of things about their life here, their culture and how their island are built and function. I would gladly recommend their place to anyone !!

Great spot and that's what you should come for - the rest a little meuwww

Good price and the owner is a great guy but doesn't really understand how to run a guesthouse. Its a little messy and kinda all on the edge of good enough. But one comes for the location ... so for a night, or two max, its a great litle spot.

The buildings were a little makeshift and crummy. There was not much of anything in the store, and you're stuck here for water, drinks, meals whatever ... so at least a 1L water bottle for sale would be nice. Food is alright, but just about that.

Very nice stay

We had a good time. The rooms are comfortable, sanitary block is clean, and the food was good. The owner is very friendly and offers tours for a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this accommodation if you want some relaxing time.

Exceptional

Everything was really great! view and experience of living in floating houses were awesome. A taxi was waiting for me in the bus terminal with my name which costs 30 soles because I went to the center to get entel SIM card and he waited for me for at least 30min. I would definitely come again.
