Location was excellent!
Slight delay getting into the hotel as the reception buzzer wasn’t working so we had to sneak in when other guests arrived. Was only 5 mins but could have been longer

The staff were so helpful and friendly, gave us good restaurant advice and took our bags up to the room.
The room was so comfy and clean, we had a great night's sleep.
Can't complain, the room was really hot during the night but there was a fan next to the bed that was a great thought from them, so I was comfortable all night.

Location
Bathroom. Shower soaked the bathroom as shower screen too small. Bathroom sink tiny.

Sehr zentral im Stadtzentrum, dennoch ruhig. Gemütliches Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, sehr freundlicher Service

Comfortable clean and friendly hotel in a very good location close with friendly staff
WiFi wasn’t great in my room
4.5
Lovely decor. Very comfy. Clean. Staff on reception were very friendly.
One mirror in main room well away from the socket so it was difficult to do my hair! Also the shower head was large but shower tray not big enough so floor was sopping afterwards.

quirky layout. great location
Shower room not well designed

Trendy and modern, excellent location!

We have stayed here several times before and enjoy the general ambiance. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We made use of the Hanover Street multi-story pre-booked discount which was a bonus. We like the small bar area and regret that we had to leave too early for breakfast on this particular occasion. We will certainly be back.

All the reception staff were very helpful & friendly. They Genuinely want you to have a fab stay & seemed very proud of the hotel. I was given a birthday prosecco on arrival which was a lovely touch. Only had breakfast there the once & the french toast was amazing. The bathroom was clean, shampoo & condition smelt lovely. The bed & telly where massive. Location is brilliant
Only one little niggle,I slept on the window side & there was cold draught coming from it & you could hear seagulls & pigeons.

Really good location, friendly staff. Beds very comfortable.
Rooms a bit run down. Flaking paint and broken bathroom door. No instructions on how to turn the heating on so it was very cold in the room.

I used for an overnight stay and the hotel was amazing. Very comfortable bed and it was very clean. Good value for money. I will definitely go back on my next stay in Liverpool.
I didnt find a problem, but If you struggle with stairs, avoid the no Window room on the 4th floor
4.5
Quirky place in a fantastic location for enjoying Liverpool city centre super friendly staff very helpful
Quality of the bathroom in room 208 was below the standard in the rest of the room

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, ausgesprochen zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage, gutes Frühstück.

Amazing front desk clerk, so polite and personable.
Room had a nice size and we found everything we needed. We really appreciated the opportunity to have water brought to the room, as well as the convenience of being able to order room service from the downstairs restaurant.
The hotel is in a great area, although it gets a bit noisy at night, I think this is the best sleep you could get in the city centre.
Room definitely needs some upkeeping. The shower is mouldy and it leaks onto the carpet in the room, the bathroom door doesn't fully close, the king bed is actually 2 twins zipped together in a stained cover, the window blinds are broken and the wallpaper is ripped in multiple places.
We didn't get any housekeeping as, during our first day, someone knocked on the door asking if we needed towels or toiletries, but she was storing the clean towels on the floor, as she grabbed some ready to give them to us.
4.5
Good breakfast, helpful staff, convenient location, comfortable bed
Very small room. No bedside lights. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night - for no reason. It was turned off again , but we were wide awake. No explanation or apology. Price was also very high - exploiting the football match - it was half as much for the following day.

It was very central, it was very clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also lovely and value for money

La ubicación es centrica y las piezas son amplias y limpias, por el precio no hay nada mejor creo yo

All the staff were amazing and so helpful. The bar next door where we ate breakfast was really lovely and the pancakes were of a very generous portion. We loved the location and our room was very tastefully decorated.
4.5
Had a great stay, hotel and bar lovely. Super sized room and very comfy bed.
Great place to
My only comment would be that the shower screen is a bit inadequate ( floor got drenched)
4.5
The bed was very comfortable
The sliding door to the en suite was broken, one of the top runners wasn’t working, the chest of drawers had bits missing and the bedside tables were scratched and the paint flaking off.
4.5
Great location friendly staff clean nice towels nice cosy bar below great coffee

One loved the bed , other not as much , one loved the pancakes , other didn’t quite like the breakfast
Room was too big , could not find staff when needed , tv did not work , tablet did not work , toiletries were not full ,

Overall theme and design, great location and staff were really lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and made us feel really comfortable!
the room wasn’t anything like what I booked sadly, I was expecting it to be a lot like what is heavily advertised, I was disappointed as the room I got was significantly more basic in design even though the images showed I was paying for a different room. No lamp shade on the main room look, which was fine but made it feel a bit like an interrogation suite. Bathroom also had half a about a third of a toilet roll between two people, which actually was an issue by morning. the room just felt it was missing something for the price we had paid.
4.5
The rooms were modern and well thought out, very very clean and comfortable too. Fantastic facilities

The staff and location were great.
I do like a bath but none of the rooms had baths

Modern, clean and comfortable.
Smell of paint.

Convenient for Empire Theatre
Friendly professional staff
Reasonably priced
Shower screen in our room (106) did not keep the water in. Flooded the floor in 5 seconds flat.
Lots of cobwebs on ceiling by window - weeks not days

Great location and lovely people
We had the attic room, it is lovely but on a cold wet night it meant a very restless sleep with sound of rain
4.5
- extremely friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and in the kitchen/dining area
- great breakfast (lots of options and good quality food with fab service)
- really big room (‘spacious twin’) that was nicely decorated and had comfortable beds.
- rooms had single glazing; this meant noise from the road was audible.
- some of the blinds were broken and one set was on the floor, unusable. This meant light from the street lights came into the room (however - this is a super easy fix)
- bathroom door was difficult to open and close (sliding door) and wouldn’t close fully. This is a privacy issue (again - easy fix).
- water pressure: shower would cut out to a dribble sometimes and then thunder back into life. But that’s more a quirk of an old building and just something to be aware of. It wouldn’t stop me staying again.
^ Overall, positive stay!

Location
Service by staff
Breakfast
Rooms tired (paintwork chipped and dirty, wallpaper peeling off the wall).
Bathrooms are terrible. Excessive mould in shower. Lack of shower screens means the bathroom floods. Water seeps into bedroom carpet which was damp for the whole stay. The bathroom door is rotting from water from the shower.
There was someone else’s dirty underwear in the cupboard.
Bedrooms do not live up to the 4* rating.

Location was perfect , staff very friendly, room was very clean and comfortable and beautiful. Food was delicious too
4.5
Spacious Room
Bathroom door and the bed was to single beds pushed together so wasn't good on your back.
4.5
Excellent location (close to the docks, main bus station, 2 train stations, city center, shopping centers, and restaurants, but in a quiet area nonetheless), friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff, good restaurant/bar on the ground floor (delicious breakfast options, excellent coffee, live music). The attic room was clean and comfortable enough, with a bit more personality than a standard hotel room, hot water, an efficient heating system, and an excellent bed.
The stairs to get up to the attic are a bit steep (no elevator), wifi signal is weak in some areas of the hotel, the bathroom window was not properly closing (letting some cold air in), the soundproofing was not great (noisy neighbors also did not help), and the room could have used a bit more natural light for my taste.
