The fruit
The Hilton hotel lost my wedding dress and gave me food poising the day before my wedding!
The staff were miserable and rude and unhelpful and mainly not very intelligent or diligent!
Staff saw me drop bags and watched and said and did nothing to help.
The worst stay and thanks to the Hilton I got 2 hours sleep for my wedding day and am now going to be ill for my honeymoon.
They really have royally messed up this time!!!!

Location to Oxford
I asked for a non dog friendly room as I am allergic to dog hair. The room smelt of dogs which was and affected my health.
4.5
The bed was super comfortable with soft sheets. Food was good in the lounge bar. We were only staying one night enroute elsewhere. Small point but the body lotion bottle was empty and the bottom sheet was not fitted and was too small for the bed although it didnt cause us a problem.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Also assisted in providing extra toothbrushes and toiletries, as well as recommending a good delivery restaurant nearby that delivered.
The hallways to get to the rooms were a bit of a maze, and felt like we had to walk forever, but that's because the hotel goes outwards, not up
4.0
Comfortable room, parking space and beautiful view from the room
Nothing
5.0
Everything, from the moment I was greeted with a smile to every member of staff being so helpful
Would like more healthy bar food options
3.0
The rooms are a good size and the bed is very comfortable.
The service was very poor especially in the restaurant. Except for the manager Jo who was extremely helpful.
I went for a two day conference and the organization for this was terrible.
2.0
Limited Air conditioning in rooms which was very disappointing considering the cost of the room
Basic facilities

Location to Heathrow Airport. We used the hotel after a long trip, to get our bearings before the heading home. Free parking is also a bonus.
Steam room not working in the spa and there were a couple of baby swim classes which made the spa very noisy.

Had a nice pool and sauna, but always full of kids at the times we wanted to use it.
Food at breakfast was either cold, overcooked or undercooked or there wasn’t any left. Staff were lovely and would replenish when asked. Duvet didn’t fit the bed. Bar food took over an hour to arrive, one of the staff got shirty when asked how much longer it would be. We were sat in a draft as that was the only place with a suitable table and it took 30 mins for them to turn down the aircon.

Checking out
One member of staff was super, sadly I didn’t get his name, he was tall blonde white hair mid twenties, said he grew up in sandbanks area, been working within this hotel for three weeks, noticed me wheeling my mum in wheelchair loaded up with bags on her lap along the corridors and immediately offered any help required, all I can say is train him out to be a manager as he has all the professional care skills of a manager, the only member of staff that offered to help us with no prompt required, thank you very much to him
Fact the receptionist didn’t even say welcome as I was checking in.
I was presented with forms to complete and a welcome letter of information, when I asked what time breakfast was the reply was it is all written on the welcome paper information ( read yourself response then! )
When I asked the easier route to take my mother in a wheelchair to our room due to endless corridors the reply was I am unable to change the hotel layout ( I wasn’t asking for change in lay out just helpful direction, self service I work it out for yourself then attitude! )
On arrival to our room stepping out into our patio area on the steps there was bagged dog poo and used coffee cup from previous guest and a rat running across the court yard, I reported this and was sorted quickly.
Evening meal for three of us, we all left food, tasted frozen heated up!
Morning restaurant breakfast self service system, guests asking guests where items were, mugs instead of cups and saucers, no pamper.
If you like a robot self service large conference hotel then this hotel is for you.
If you are looking for welcoming personal care to be spoilt or pampered drive past fast!
The welcome is only written in letters attached

Breakfast was nice but the food was not replenished in a timely fashion.
We had to check in an hour late as the room wasn't ready. When we got to the room it was set up for 2 people not 3 so we had to sit and watch the beds be remade, when we complained to reception that this was not acceptable the gentleman on reception replied what do you want me to do about it?
2.5
Roof was nicely presented
Bar Service was very poor
Breakfast service was adequate at best

The location was very good
The room was not what I paid for. And was not clean enough, bathroom not clean.
Breakfast was not good especially the mushrooms served for breakfast were very dry and the bacon was too chewy
3.5
I have an allergy to gluten and your staff were most helpful with my issues.
Long walk from my room to other parts of the hotel.

It was excellent plenty of choice

Great quiet location
First night in (booked for 4 nights) radiator in the room was stuck on high as the thermostat was broken, simple fix was ring reception and ask for some pliers to turn it off at the lock shield to be to told maintenance have no tools ! Man arrives looks at it and doesn’t seem to understand my explanation and returns with a fan 5 mins later ! Eventually reception moves me however to a smaller room that to me wasn’t very clean really , however after 8 hours driving I simply went to bed

Hotel and facilities very good
Evening meal menu poor , expensive and standard of food not good, fish and chips was soggy ,bland and pretty awful.
a lot more young children than we expected, noisy.

Hotel was good - rooms were better than expected for price; clean & spacious. Hotel were helpful & friendly.
Spa treatment wasn’t great - member of staff wasn’t what I would expect and resulted in a disappointing experience.
4.0
Free easy parking. Lovely room, very comfortable bed and great shower
Needs more signage internally. Finally worked out levels 1&2 and room numbers!

Our first evening dinner was poor and overpriced, we dined out for the rest of our 3 day stay.
Breakfast.. as diners left their table, staff cleared the table and set it up new straight away, NO disinfecting the tables at all! (Very poor on the Hotels behalf) I did bring this to their attention at reception.
Our booked room was not ready on arrival (as pre-planned with the Hotel), we were put in a different room (apparently the same type as I booked). A Taxi was quoted by the Hotel (the one they always use) at £23 to Oxford, it actually cost £30, also the vehicles used had No Taxi plates !

Good location, nice spa and gym.
Could have been a bit cleaner in the room.
Reception staff (Tanya) had poor customer service skills.
4.5
All the staff were very friendly and helpful made us stay very welcoming

Great customer service! Very worm welcome from at the reception (from Filip).
Bar staff were very friendly. First night we had dinner at lounge bar as restaurant was fully booked. Food was cocked very good. However, ingredients quality could be a bit better.
Second evening we had dinner in the restaurant. Friendly stall and very good service. Food was prepared great (we had steaks) but quality if the meat itself could be better (it doesn’t look to be fresh meat… there was smell of a fridge).
Breakfasts was satisfying both mornings.
In overall, great staff and customer service. Very good kitchen staff as the food was cocked fantastic.
Small issues in terms of cleanliness but my criteria is too high on that point.

The parking was easy and so was the check in. Lady on reception gave us a bag of snacks as we'd booked via booking.com and delicious warm cookies which my daughter loved! Lots of choice for breakfast.
It was difficult to control the temperature of the room. We didn't have enough towels for 2 people and didn't have any conditioner.
I was really disappointed to discover they only allowed children in the pool during specific times, which coincided with them hiring half the pool out for children's swim lessons too. Other children jumping and splashing in the pool, bringing drinks in/throwing ice around, parents taking photos of their children in the swim lessons so absolutely not the enjoyable, relaxing 'spa' I wanted when I booked.
Although lots of choice for breakfast, there were not any vegetarian sausages etc and the utensils were being used for both meat and eggs etc.
*my daughter and I regularly book and stay in hotels with pools/spas and this was the first time we've encountered the above issues.

Really accommodating with the dog which was great. Plenty of space in the room.
People opposite had left their dog and it kept barking all morning. Could smell pet smell when I entered the room.
1.5
The size of the room was great and the bed was comfortable, but that did cost!
For the cost I paid for the room I am very disappointed with the service I received. Even in the lead up, I contacted multiple times about a taxi but was ignored. There was no cot in the room as requested but this was rectified quickly. No soap in the room but again rectified. It was so hot, the air con was not sufficient. We had a pregnant person and a baby in the room but waited 4hours for a fan, which we requested multiple times. We asked for some toothpaste which never came. No one offered help with bags or to find the room. I was dragging dresses, bags and a baby but no one offered assistance. My make up artist said she had to ask for help as people stood and talked. The room wasn't cleaned when I got back that night. Still had breakfast plates on the side. It is such a shame as the room and hotel is lovely but I feel like it really dampened my spirits. It was expensive but I was left feeling uncomfortable and felt like I was constantly having to chase things. I didn't mention anything on check out as I wasn't even asked how my stay was, and in all honesty, I wanted to leave.
3.5
Clean enough and presented ok.
The food was not good enough for the price. Pork chop was dry and the breakfast is not worth the money.
4.0
Lovely hotel with lots of different areas to sit. Easy parking large room and hot cookies on arrival which was a lovely touch
The bed was so soft- doesn't suit my back at all.
3.5
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The pool wasn't that big and I personally don't like feather pillows which was all they had.
The bacon on the breakfast buffet was very tough and fatty.
