Wet spacious for 3 people. Super king size bed and a full size single bed and very clean. Great communication from the host, Lynne, beforehand. Very attentive and she makes a belting breakfast. Thank you Lynne (and Beau), I think we’ll be back there again when we’re next down that way.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and fresh milk was provided in a mini fridge which was a nice touch. Easy walking distance of shops and river.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like .

The owner of the property, Lynne, is super kind and always was available. My room was super cossy and quiet. At the beginning, I was a bit concerned of staying in a pub, but the room facilities are actually in an independent building. So, I did not hear anything and could rest all nights. I really enjoyed staying at this property and will stay again for sure!

The staff were lovely, very obliging and thoughtful. The beer was very well kept and a delight.
We had a room at the rear of the pub and there was a noisy fan on all night that seemed to be located in a neighbouring building.
4.3
The room was good and quiet. Breakfast was very good and all the staff we met were very helpful.
Nothing stands out negatively .
4.3
Staff friendly and very helpful- wonderful atmosphere, food great. Nothing too much trouble. Heavy bags taken up steep stairs, owner and staff wonderfully solicitous and friendly and informative. An added bonus.
Nothing because the place is old and therefore any inconvenience (steep staircase) only added to the charm.

I had a lovely comfortable overnight stay at The Coachmakers Arms in Wallingford and was made to feel very welcome. My room was cosy and warm and beautifully decorated with all the facilities that I needed, and the bathroom was great too with lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. I ate downstairs in the bar in the evening and enjoyed a delicious home-made pizza. I chose to have the breakfast the next day which was also delicious with a choice of cooked or continental. I will definitely stay again. I visit Wallingford regularly.

This was the perfect B&B for us completing the Thames Path.
Lynne was so friendly and welcoming. The pub served delicious pizza for dinner and breakfast the next day was wonderful too. We loved being able to order our full English the night before as it meant we could set off early on our next walk. The room is recently decorated in a luxurious style and the enormous bed meant for a perfect night's sleep. Thank you, Lynne and your team 😀
