I can't recommend the Delrachney Lodge enough. Our room was lovely, our hosts were charming and caring, and the breakfast was amazing. On to of that, they were so concerned about us that one night when getting dinner out would be difficult they made special arrangements for us and gave us a delicious dinner at the Lodge, where they normally do not serve dinner. We will be back without question. Thanks Steve and Tracy for a great experience.
Absolutely nothing! It was great!

Our hosts Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were very welcoming, polite, courteous and friendly throughtout our stay, from check-in to checking out nothing was too much trouble, lovely people.
Our breakfasts were excellent and plentiful, and made fresh to order...Delicious.
The small bar was great and not over-priced, with an excellent selection of malt whisky.
Great location, extremely comfortable and relaxing ~ we shall most definitley return.
Nothing! The place is just perfect.

Tracey and Steve are impeccable hosts. We loved chatting with them. They gave us great and thoughtful tips about the area and what to do there. Another shining star in our stay was the breakfast - absolutely scrumptious. Definitely try the porridge!
We loved everything about our stay there.

I loved the beautiful grounds, peaceful setting, historic old building, chatting with the proprietors. They helped us reaccommodate when we had a late addition to our family group, helped us when we had to get a flat tire serviced in their driveway, and told wonderful stories about the grounds and building. Wish we could have stayed a week. Oh and the breakfast was amazing!

The hotel was a lovely old property with original features. It was peaceful, comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast options were really varied with each option offering wholesome, good quality and well prepared food. Nearby the Cairn Hotel was perfect for evening meals. All in all a perfect base to explore the cairngorms.

Very gracious hunting lodge. Comfortable and spacious room. Good location - walking distance to good food for supper. Hosts were most friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast!
Only complaint would be that the Wifi in our room dropped signal frequently.

We were warmly welcomed by the new owners. Our room with four-poster bed was very comfortable, with a fine view across to the hills. The bathroom - which they are planning to upgrade this winter - was already fine. The breakfasts, with multiple choices, were magnificent and generous.
We could have done without the single-use plastic bottles of water with the (very nice) tea tray in the room.

A warm welcome, comfortable room and delightful breakfast.
Felt a little pricey compared with other places we stayed at.

Owner managed . Donald was an exceptional host . The property was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Very tastefully furnished and a lovely drawing room to relax. The dining room was spotless with very good quality cutlery, glassware and crockery. Breakfast ordered the night before was served by Donald . so much better then buffet breakfasts so often found in hotels these days . Best Scottish breakfast we had in Scotland and attentively served. Donald has a very good selection of Whisky’s and we enjoyed a very good nightcap .

The owners are very very friendly. The house has really lodge feeling. The room was clean and rustic. The grass around like a fresh green table with rabbits. It has been like a tale!

It was homely and warm. Very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
3.5
the bedrooms were large and impressive with a four poster bed. the communal areas downstairs were traditionally decorated and homely which gave you a sense of place. the breakfast was very good and great views from the breakfast room
the en suite bathrooms were very dated and not equal to the quality of the bedroom.

Great spot to start discovering the Cairngorms. We had a nice big room, really friendly service and a great breakfast.
