Well equipped warm and comfortable

Excellent location, easy to get to Arrochar and Tarbet (for Lock Lomand), we walked to both. Property was clean and quiet, close to the railway. Sheets/Towels etc were provided and clean. Booking and communication was good. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, Small outside area with a picnic table. Ideal for train travel too.
No issues (except the dish washer, during out visit, but parts had been ordered).

The property was exceptionally well appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. The sitting room was very homely and well laid out. We loved the kitchen - it had everything we needed for preparing packed lunches to making a full roast dinner. We especially liked that the mugs were sturdy and held a full cuppa, and the glasses were a sensible size! Added extras such as a wide variety of books, DVDs a CD player and games were welcome, and the great pile of books about the local areas and local maps to use was brilliant. Loads of hot water and a welcome tray were also great bonuses. It was great to have a washing machine and towels provided - saved on space for us travelling up. The wi-fi was perfectly OK - it wasn't as fast as the kids would have liked, but this suited the grown ups absolutely fine!!
Nothing!

Very comfortable, Cleaning lassies do an excellent job, Quiet, Friendly neighbours.
WiFi was a bit naughty at times, Still it was good to put down electronics and converse.

I liked the location and the amount of space
The decking didn’t look like it had been brushed all summer. Still winter leaves on it and cardboard boxes that looked like they had also been there a while. We had an iron but no board. No brushes or mops to help keep the place clean and there was quite a big hole in the carpet in the hall that they had tried to cover with a mat

central fantastic view

such a cute cottage, was equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. great location.
at first glance it seemed clean however the double bedroom had small white curly pet hairs all over the duvet and under the couch cushions had old sweet wrappers, crumbs, a child’s hair clip and various crumbs/stains.

Nice location and very cosy cottage.
One of the appliances was not working

This property is a perfect place to stay and explore Loch Lomond. It is a few seconds walking distance to a great restaurant with a container shop in the car park to pick up essentials. The property is a great size with the main bedroom at the back overlooking the veranda with stunning views to the hills (weather pending). Up stairs are 2 further bedroom if needed. The main lounge and open plan kitchen are huge with everything you need. The main bathroom is perfect with good power for the shower. The bed was comfortable. When we arrived the heating was off and we were worried it would take ages to heat up but we needn't have worried, we actually had to turn it down and open the windows.
The weather but the property can't control this. We 100% would come back in the spring / summer so can enjoy the BBQ out back.

Lovely good sized cottage perfect for exploring Loch lomond

Kitchen equipment needs a stock check, few critical items missing

Good location. There was ample space for car parking. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Two bathrooms made our life easy as we were five.
Double room had a shower which was tiny. We were expected to strip the beds when we were leaving, but there was only one bin cover which could not accommodate all the linen.

Amazing location, and had a fantastic stay
Some wear and tear showing in places, although perfectly comfortable

Location superb, facilities and size

This is a lovely cottage in a quiet and picturesque location. It has everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. Despite being in need of some updating,TLC and some cleanliness issues (especially during these COVID times), I would stay here again.
Cleanliness was lacking slightly. Dust of bath panels, stains on kitchen cupboard doors, blinds were very dusty. Patio area could also do with a thorough cleaning. Cobwebs over windows and leaves on furniture which had been there a while. The barbecue is disgusting with used coals, dirty grill and cobwebs inside it. This was a huge letdown given the amazing weather we had when here.

Well equipped cottage in nice location.
Nice outdoor area.
One or minor maintenance issues need attention.

Beds were comfortable, House well equipped. Good Wifi
Prompt replies to our queries and problems at the time
House was rather tired looking and in need of some refurbishment. Livingroom ceiling stained and cracked (previous leak?)
TV channels were not available if it was raining, which unfortunately it did a lot of while we were there. We got around the problem by acquiring an HDMI cable and watching TV via our laptops
4.3
Location, beds comfy, lots of equipment in kitchen, parking, washing machine, dishwasher, garden space, distant to loch is a stones through away, towels provided, tea and coffee nice touch, kind to provide dvds and books!
Bathroom floor looks very old and dirty in places, water was very slow running in en-suite bathroom, not enough toilet paper left especially as not many shops in local area, fridge is so loud espically at night, make sure you bring supplies as nearest shop is miles away apart from little supplies hut in restaurant but it is small and expensive, WiFi a bit rubbish, tv very small

It was a home from home cottage, very warm and cosy with a fully equipped kitchen. We had good communication with the owner and they were clear on how to leave the cottage for covid reasons. The location was a great base for adventures around Scotland, with plenty of places to walk. We will certainly be back in the future.
I think the only thing was that there was no food waste recycling bin. But apart from that it was great

the home very clean and good fernish
I think this is expensive
