The receptionist was amazing and very funny. It’s a lovely old manor house right across the road from Loch Lomond. Beautiful old staircases and fixtures.
The many doors and hallways we needed to go through to get to our room.

Every aspect of our stay! Staff so friendly and helpful food amazing and decor stylish and the whole place was so clean and welcoming
Not the properties fault but the building work across the road spoilt a fab view of Loch Lomond

Lovely place to stay with very friendly staff

Room was clean and spacious. Located at the Junction of two main roads but was quiet at night.
Waiting staff at dinner were disorganised.
The food took a long time to be served. Both hot and cold food were availbable at the breakfast buffet but selection of food was limited.

Every member of staff that we spoke to were really helpful, food was lovely, location was fantastic and the room was modern and we had a stunning view.
Nothing, loved it

Great location next to Loch Lomond, shame the Loch front area is a construction site at the moment, it seems the Loch Front visiting area is being extended, not a fault of the Hotel however.
Great staff, all the staff were really good. Good food, great steak pie !!!
Large room and comfortable beds
The room was a little cold, was a large room however ! Don't think the room was the best in the Hotel, was not much of a view of the Loch from a Premium Loch View room
Room 133, bathroom had some sort of stains on the walls,

It’s a lovely hotel. It’s right at Loch Lomond. Breakfast is good, bed comfy and shower hot.
It’s clean and tidy, plenty of onside parking.
Bar has a good selection and the haggis is gooood.
All the staff is very friendly
It’s a bit of a maze lol
Little tiered in places

Position of the hotel was perfect, across from the Loch. The room, facing the Loch was spacious and contained everything we needed.
I’m not sure if the waiting staff were new but they couldn’t get our order right and were painfully slow. They seemed to be in over their heads, wandering around aimlessly until prompted as to what to do by someone else.
We also didn’t like having to pay a daily charge to use the carpark and having to pay every time you leave and come back (even on the same day)

We were travelling to Portuairk so this was a great place to break up the journey. it’s in lovely surroundings being right by the Loch. the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms very clean and tidy. we were in a twin room and the beds were very comfortable.
we had no hot water for a shower in the morning on our first stay. wouldn’t have minded if it was summer but a little cold in the middle of October. the room was also a bit chilly. I think they had just forgotten to turn on the radiator though. once we adjusted this it was more comfortable. we were in a different room for the return journey and everything was absolutely fine with that room. perhaps because it was late season, meals were a bit limited and there weren’t many choices for breakfast.

Location is fantastic for us with beautiful views!!! First stopped in this hotel in 2003 been most years apart from covid and birth of my two daughters.
£5 a day car parking. Not as much choice for breakfast as years gone by. No entertainment at night.

We liked the proximity to the main intersection of A83 and A82.
We liked the proximity to the Cruise Loch Lomond Pier.
The historical aspect of the old building was very interesting.
The pub fare at the bar was great in the evening, and the buffet breakfast in the morning was a great start to our day!
The location at the intersection of two main roads meant that there was some traffic noise. Thankfully it was quiet at night.

The location was possibly the only good thing about this hotel.
We booked a double room and then paid to upgrade to a loch view room. We ended up with 2 singles and our view was of trees and the car park.
I went to complain but there didn't seem to be any staff around when I went to the desk.
The room was dirty and run down. Looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
Massive disappointment.

Sold wine by the glass but I had to buy a bottle, no breakfast items left for a precooked time slot and wouldn’t make or produce anymore, lift not working

Great hotel though - so much character I enjoyed my stay except for below
The staff could have been more helpful. I lost my necklace when I was staying there and had to chase and chase. It was never found!
