Convenient location, great amenities

Location: convenient for getting about the city at just a 5 minute walk from Shinjuku station (depending on the exit and entrance you take - make sure to exit at the south or koshu-Kaido exit or else you might end up with a 15 minute walk to the hotel, the station is HUGE). Shinjuku has many transport lines running through it. The area itself is very vibrant with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. There are also two 24/7 convenience stores very close by. Amenities: Japanese hotels all provide a lot of free amenities but this one was particularly good…even SPF and make up primer…no make up remove though so bring that yourself. The room also had one international plug socket for UK, EU, etc which was very useful. Room size: Rooms in Tokyo are small, it would be unfair of me to rate the hotel negatively for that - it WAS small, but bigger than many. We could fit two check-in bags, two cabin bags and our backpacks, even all open at once (when open we had to climb over them of course). There’s under bed storage.

Some staff are quite brusque and even impatient, others were nice though. Don’t expect anything stylish, but it’s a very functional hotel.

Wenn man nicht nach Luxus sucht, sondern einfach eine gute Übernachtung braucht, ist es perfekt.

Die Lage ist super, direkt an der Shinjuku Bahn Station, von der aus man alles erreichen kann. Das Zimmer bietet keinen Luxus aber bietet das nötigste zu einem fairen Preis.

Excellent location

Very central location. Convenient to get to all places. Very near to shinjuku station. Many eateries and malls nearby. Airport bus stops right in front. Despite the compact size, there is still a bath tub.

The pillow isn't very comfy. Bed also a little hard

Great hotel! 100% would recommend!

Loved the complimentary breakfast! Great food selection. The room had everything we needed, was a good size, and had great views of the city. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Only a couple minutes walk away from Yoyogi station. Overall, had the best experience and would 100% recommend this hotel to others!

Close to Everything

Another hotel in a great location. This one is located across the road from the expansive Shinjuku Station. Easy check-in via a machine though a person watches you do it which seems a little weird. The room itself is reasonably spacious with a comfortable bed. We picked the room with a large double bed but apparently picking a twin room gives you more space. Bathroom is serviceable but not particularly spacious. The shower is very good as well. Nice touch is that you can select what service is done to your room - the whole box and dice, just the towels, or nothing at all. Plenty of vending machines and laundry rooms throughout the building. Great location with plenty of restaurants and also close to the Shinjuku Bus Terminal which we used next in our journey.

Not much to complain about. Perhaps a little expensive given the size of the room though the location probably has something to do with that.

Très agréable et un emplacement idéal

L'emplacement est idéal, proche de quartiers animés et à moins de 5 min à pied d'une grande gare l'accueil et les services proposés par l'hôtel rendent le séjour très agréable.

une chambre un peu plus grande aurait été un plus mais c'est Tokyo et l'idée n'étant pas de rester dans la chambre d'hôtel, c'était suffisant Par contre ne pas s'attendre une belle vue (peut être un mauvais choix de chambre)

A solid business hotel stay for non-Japanese tourists.

TV could play YouTube which made for good entertainment when resting in the room. Good selection of amenities. There are two convenience stores nearby. Abundance of coin laundries with ability to track usage on TV. Staff were helpful in assisting with luggage forwarding.

The hotel was not as close to Shinjuku Station as I had expected. It is still walkable, but the summer heat and confusing layout of the station sometimes made walking to and from the station difficult. Lobby was often congested with tourists.

Possibly the best hotel I've stayed in in Japan.

Location was very good, a couple of minutes walk to the busy side of Shinjuku, but far enough away to be quiet. Bathroom and room were fairly big compared to other Japanese rooms. I enjoyed staying in a big hotel, walking through a big lobby of the morning, rather than a small reception desk. They had lots of toiletries that were free of charge in the lobby too, which would be helpful if you've forgot something.

Bellissima esperienza in generale, grande disponibilità e competenza degli addetti alla Reception

Posizione centrale in un quartiere di grande centralità, non distante da aeroporto Hameda (comodissima la fermata di Airport Limousine proprio davanti all'hotel) e camere dotate del necessario anche se piccole di dimensioni (ma ciò è tipico del Giappone)

Ho acquistato per due giorni la colazione, ottima l'accoglienza e la ricchezza delle offerte. Se proprio vogliamo trovare un dettaglio, arricchirei la componente internazionale rispetto a quella giapponese.

Amazing stay despite small room

Amazing location, staff were excellent, breakfast was fantastic! Everything was clean and immaculate.

Amazing hotel and I’m glad I chose this hotel. The location was great. There’s a washing machine, vending machine and microwave for guests. I would stay here again.

Great location, clean rooms, would recommend.

Location was fantastic, with a train station exit right next to the hotel. Walk to Shinjuku station was easy and there was a convenient store right across the hotel. We stayed at Sunroute twice during our time in Japan with a side trip in between. The concierge was able to store our luggage for 2N which was helpful and convenient. The self check in was a bit fiddly but the staff behind the counter pre-empted the issue and proactively resolved it. Space under the bed for storage was good.

Bathroom is a little dated but for the price and convenience, it was within my expectation.

Overall a very good stay with friendly and helpful staff. highly recommend for my next stay.

Staff is very helpful, especially assist me to make restaurants booking for my lunch and dinner places. When check in requested for a much quiet room, the front line staff assist to offer me the room far away from the lift, and also provide an overall good room with nice window view. The hotel is situated in convenient location, accessible to many locations in quick reachable way to Shinjuku station. Highly recommend.

Nothing can be said dissatisfied. Just appreciate if next time stay can offer a separate futon, instead of just extra blanket.
