This hotel was my favourite stay in my entire trip. Loved the room and the view! The location is great, with most things you need in walking distance. Attached to a shopping centre, with some restaurants, shops, and a seven eleven nearby. The train station is not too far, and the staff was great. Only thing was that you’re in a central location, so you can hear some street here and there, but I liked it. Loved it for solo travelling.

Tutto perfetto
Stanze piccole ma è normale in Giappone

Location. Great window with super Tokyo view. Minimal and small but very functional design.
Check in time is at 5 o’clock PM. If you want to check in early, you have to pay ¥1000 for every hour before 5. It’s a bad policy. The staff seemed disinterested and a little robotic.

Location was prime.
Room was small, was not super clean with marks and damages on walls

Location!
Good
5.0 / 10.0
The only good thing about this hotel was the location.
Room was tiny and worst of all: the shower and toilet were right next to each other (less than 1m apart) and only „separated by“ a curtain.

Location, interior design, hotel’s public spaces, and THE VIEW.
The room looked quite worn out compared to my stay a year ago.

King Room was great with the panoramic views and the room layout. It was clean and spacious. Had everything I needed. Great location to use as base in Tokyo with a 5 min walk from Shibuya Crossing and 10-15 minute walk to Omotesando/Harajuku area. Lot of food and shops nearby.

No kettle or coffee facilities in room.

Modern and clean. Beds were comfortable. Fair location above shops and restaurants, but is about 10 min walk from everything else (train station, other department stores, main eating strip).
Room is very small and I could not open my suitcase fully on the floor, but that is to be expected for the location and price. Room lighting was strange, there was no light in the centre of the room. Lights were at the entrance only, but this was generally ok as the room is very small. Housekeeping were a bit annoying as there wasn’t a ‘please clean my room sign’ and they did not monitor when you leave your room (like other hotels do), so they had to knock on the door and ask, then had to come back after cleaning and fiddle with some schedule on the tv. There are minimal amenities (eg no face wash, make up remover, creams) that you normally get at other hotels. They only provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Amazing hotel and facility in the center of shibuya. The view from the windows in the rooms was beyond our expectations, and the rooms were fairly large for Japan standards. Awesome cafe, and two bars were an added bonus.

Easy to find and close to transport. The staff are amazing, extremely helpful and friendly.
Room was a little cramped but otherwise perfectly fine

Location, the breakfast bar, the roof top bar and the other bar. Very nice hotel

Out of all the accomodation I stayed at during my time in Japan, this was definitely one of my favourites. Very modern inside the rooms which were also very spacious by Tokyo standards. The hotel itself has a bar and breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurants located on various floors as well (although breakfast was a bit too expensive so I just opted for elsewhere). Super easy getting to the accomodation and also very easy getting around tokyo from here. Bed was not too hard as well although the pillows are half filled with hard beans which I found was quite common in Japanese hotels for whatever reason. Had an awesome view of shibuya from our hotel room.
Perhaps maybe the only thing would be that it is right next to a train station so at night when you’re sleeping you do hear the train. You do get used to it though. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

The location is perfect. In the middle of Shibuya and close to the train station. Many restaurants nearby and its just a quick walk to Harajuku from the hotel. We got a room overlooking the Miyashita Park and it was a stunning view. Sitting in the large window and watching the skylines at night was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. We first stayed one night there and then travelled to Kyoto and the staff let us keep our large suitcases there until we got back from Kyoto 5 days later. They were very helpful. I would love to stay there again next time I go back to Japan.
Nothing, everything was good.

Sequence feels cool and modern and a bit like the Ace or Standard Hotels. I enjoyed an excellent 12-night stay by myself in a twin-room. Staff were very helpful with all my needs, from check-in to holding items at the front desk. Room was large by Tokyo standards with expansive views and good blackout curtains (I'm glad I booked the twin, as basic single rooms are indeed very tiny from what I saw first-hand during cleaning). Beds are firm, as typical with Japan, but comfortable. Good amount of storage in cubbies and small closet. I thought the hotel would be noisier, as it caters to a younger crowd (think late 20s-early 40s), but my room was dead silent all 12 nights. The hotel was less crowded than usual, being winter, but I was still surprised at how quiet the place was.
Bathroom was great. No tub, but shower has a nice sliding door to keep water contained and the rain shower head was terrific with excellent heat and water pressure. There's also an adjustable hand-held shower head too. Toilet, as expected, is a very nice bidet Toto.
Cafe on the lobby floor is very cool and a nice place to work or take a meeting in the morning, though it does get busy by late morning and it's packed all afternoon. Also, if you purchase a reusable coffee cup (I think for about 500-600 yen, as it's 50% off for hotel guests), drip coffee is free for the rest of your stay with unlimited refills! Restaurant on the 5th floor was also quite good. Classy and tasty spot while still casual. No tea or coffee provided in the room, but a nice electric kettle was available upon request and I made good use of it during my stay. Mini fridge was useful too. No mini bar items - just use for cold storage.
Location is very good. Under 10 minutes to Shibuya station on foot. Two FamilyMart locations very close as well for all your 24-hr konbini needs. So much good food close by. Overall, tons of good things to say about Sequence.
I really wish the room had a small desk. There's nowhere to work or eat except by sitting on the bed or the low cabinet by the window. There's a tiny side table you can use, but it's very small and not very practical. Also, I ended up using this side table as my nightstand. In retrospect, I could probably have asked the staff for a second small side table.
Others have complained about the train sound, but honestly, after a night or two it didn't bother me at all. Also, the trains don't run all night in Tokyo. With a little white noise or earplugs, I couldn't hear it. I slept well here.

位置真的太讚了 質感也很不錯
尤其是大廳就是咖啡廳 真的很讚
而且房間都是高樓層 可以俯瞰澀谷
房間的衛浴蠻失望的 床旁邊就是馬桶的感覺很詭異

"This hotel is a bit pricey, but it boasts a fantastic location with city or park views. You can easily walk everywhere, and the highlight is the direct access from the hotel to a rooftop park. The rooms are spacious by Tokyo standards, yet lack a wardrobe, and the combined bathroom/toilet is rather small. Room cleaning service is provided every second day.
Smiles from the staff members

The location was great. The accommodations were comfortable and nice. We loved the little coffee shop by the lobby.
Checking in on the IPads was not the easiest.

it's close to the station
the room's size is so small, i know that Japanese hotels are small compared to other countries, but i went to many hotels in Japan, and this was the smallest, the space of the room fits only 1 small suitcase (in front of the door), i had to put my other suitcase on the bed
the bathroom is inside the room
the train noise, it's very noisy in the morning.
the digital check-in, it's good to go digital but this hotel's digital check-in process takes a lot of time it'd be better if there's an option for the normal check-in process.

Good location in Shibuya to visit the Meiji shrine, Cat Street & Hamamatsu Street.
Good range of restaurants in the district.
Rooms were a good size.
A 2:00pm check out time.
Cafe located in reception area.
The area is noisy with frequent trains throughout the day (stopped later in the night) and traffic noise such as sirens from the nearby fire/ ambulance facility.
A 5:00pm check in time.

The size of the room was more than adequate for 1 person. The location was perfectly located between Shibuya and Omotesando (Cat Street).
There was a weird thing about Wifi. After leaving, I deleted the wifi ID, but my phone still tried to connect to their wifi???

the location was perfect
Lacking in amenities
Rooms cleaned only every two days
room would have been better with one double/ queen bed than 2 king singles, the bed was hard up against a wall

I really like the location and design of the hotel. Also, the room is very clean and modern. It's on the smaller side though.
The staff is not very helpful. They are unable to help you, even with simple stuff like calling a cab or help you with restaurants bookings.
9.0 / 10.0
Location and the view from the room was amazing. The staff is helpful when you ask for something but overall pretty indifferent. Their English is adequate. The pillows are awful. The bed is pretty hard, but I heard it’s often the case in Japan. Though I am staying the gate hotel in Kyoto right now and the beds are fabulous. We loved the breakfast. The bar on 18th floor is small bit pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend to my friends. We did get a large twin room and it was as pretty tight. Pack light!!
The pillow was awful and the bed was hard. I travel with my own in a compression sleeve, I wouldn’t have been ble to sleep. Room cleaning is every 2 days which is ok, except make sure to confirm with front desk, otherwise they won’t. It’s confusing.
