All the staff were welcoming, attentive and clearly well trained.nothing was too much trouble. Location was easy to find.
Room was comfortable and clean
Food was excellent
Road noise, not too intrusive, but we. Could hear fans from(?)extractors during the night periodically.

We enjoyed breakfast, great service and choice. Area had lovely walking trails
Could have provided a Mini fridge in room, and fresh milk, but that’s just a personal preference and not an issue.

Staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful, room was beautiful
Booking through booking.com you spend alot more and you are more likely to be put in the sage room, this is the smallest off rooms and is right on a main road so very noisy at night if I was to go again I'd book through their website to garentee where you are staying and for a cheaper price.

Staff were amazing! Big shout out to Jade and James.
They were both super helpful and really made us feel incredibly welcome.
The facilities and food were spot on. Highly recommend!

Beautiful surroundings - fantastic attentive staff - delicious breakfast- comfy cosy room - hot tub was a great extra.
Only quibble was perhaps a shelf in bathroom and in the shower cubicle for toiletries.
The Bluebell room was luxurious but needed an extra shelf or two for items where the table was.

Excellent room, excellent staff and excellent food
The hot tub could have been a bit more private. We were the furthest from the hot tub and it felt a little far to go in a bath robe!

The room was a little on the small side

Breakfast was good!
Garden view rooms are very special. Lavenders smell lovely
Location isn't the best without a car. Staff didn't want to give us the room before 3pm. Staff didn't want to phone taxi companies so?we have to do it by ourselves.

Staff very attentive. Upgraded room. Very clean
Tv didn’t work but that’s not a massive issue

Good location . Lovely food. Great breakfast and dinner. Staff very polite and helpful. Chef went to a lot of trouble to accommodate me as I’m gluten intolerant and vegan. Room was very small but beautiful. We had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Bedroom was v small but appreciate that the owners have made the most of a small space. Lovely bathroom and all beautifully decorated, don’t be put off!

The whole stay. Very relaxing and it was lovely to staying there as when I was a little girl, we use to go camping up the road and we used to go pass the pub. It was the best years of my life. so it was lovely to have them good memories 😁
Going back home after a great time away.

The place was in a good area to travel to different locations. The staff are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The food is of a very good standard.
The room is very small and isn't laid out very well for the size. How room also looked out at a wall and was very hot as the window only opened a few inches, there was a fan but very noisy when trying to sleep. It's above the restaurant which is a little noisy and smells of the food being cooked. The breakfast menu is limited and only has cooked food no choice of cereals, yogurt or fruit. We paid £166 per night so I would say over priced.

Recommend the garden rooms, which are separate units and are a good size with a decking area included. Perfect place to take dogs and will definitely return. We arrived on a Sunday so we had a roast dinner in the restaurant which was so tasty.
The garden area although nice, could have been maintained a little better.

The room was lovely, but the food was another level.. the beef salad was amazing honestly 😍 looking forward to staying again.
Isn't really a negative feedback, but a takeaway breakfast could be a good call. Like me I had to get away early so missed out on the amazing breakfast.

Good location on the main road with plenty of parking . lovely welcome ,all staff very efficient, well presented and polite . Dining room spacious and beautifully decorated , good menu with plenty of choice and excellent quality …expect London prices! Breakfast also good but would have liked a choice of a continental breakfast as well. Our room (sage) was in the main building facing onto the road so we had a lot of traffic noise. Room nicely decorated with tea making facility , bathroom nice but quite small fine for one night.
No wardrobe in the bedroom and very limited hanging space for clothes , ok for one or 2 nights . TV far too small. Shower was very hot , we couldn’t adjust the temperature but did address this with management at checkout. Very happy overall but expected a bigger room for the price .
