Location is good.
We received a message after canceling period was over that during the first day of our stay restaurant and pool would be under renovation, but available after. When we arrived they communicated that the pool and restaurant are still under renovation during our stay. There were ongoing loud works on the site during the day. Breakfast was not available in the time we were told, only later. We left after one day and cancelled rest of the stay. We appreciate that at least this was possible.

La amabilidad y disponibilidad del personal, la cercanía con la playa, y el ambiente natural
Las habitaciones son oscuras, con un olor poco agradable

Leuk restaurant en zwembad. Super ligging t.o.v. Manuel Antonio park.
Onze kamer lag naast de weg. Vrij veel geluidsoverlast.

Nice staff and a pleasant stay
The beds had really thin blankets- like a sheet. I get it- it is a hot place, but with the air conditioning etc, a comforter might have been nice.

Location is amazing. A 3m walk from a beautiful beach, but truly nestled in a jungle - we saw monkeys, deer, and colorful birds hanging around the pool with us! Staff was very friendly and helped set up lots of activities for us - the rafting was a highlight! Rooms were perfectly comfortable with good AC. The pool/bar area they had was very pleasant to hang out at.
Biggest negative was the electric showers, coming from the US those scared me a bit. And the rooms themselves are a bit dated, although perfectly clean.

Alles gut

Staff were fantastic and went out of their way to give advice, help with any requests, activity booking, reservations etc. Not a lot of rooms so was very chilled out and relaxing around restaurant and pool area. Proximity to everything was great. Howler Monkeys and other wildlife so close was a bonus.
Somewhere to lounge. Aside from the bed there was nowhere to sit in the room. There was some painting work going on, so the outside area by the room wasn't available for much of the stay.

Camera semplice, pulita. Abbiamo riposato molto bene.
Niente in particolare.

The family room was pretty compact

Awesome beach within very close walk (5 min); Manuel Antonio park a 10 minute walk. Loved the ambiance, restaurant on site, hearing howler monkeys in the middle of the night. Cute, quirky and awesome place!
More towels please, ability to rent/borrow beach towels!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good. The restaurant staff were fantastic!
Didn’t realize it is on the main road so it was loud with traffic. Our suite was in the front, don’t know what the other suites were like that weren’t right on the road.

This was our first time to Costa Rica and we were so pleased that our first stay was at the Jungle Beach Hotel. Our room was simple and was comfortable, clean and had AC. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the pool as the beach was less than 10 minutes walk. The fried rice at the restaurant was delicious. A good start to our trip!
Liked it all

The jungle vibe.
Facilities could be updated. In my opinion it is a bit overpriced. Including breakfast would be nice.

Amazing staff, in a hotel surrounded by trees filled with monkeys and many other kinds of animals. Imagine cooling off in the pool with tens of monkeys just a few meters away : a truly mesmerising spectacle.
And let's not forget the kitchen staff, preparing delicious food, often way better than what you could find in most restaurants nearby.
On top of that, the beach and the natural park are only meters away
I would highly recommend!

We were able to park our car and leave it since it's close enough to walk to the MA park, which is why we were there. Our comfort room was spartan but clean and had screens on a window, so we could sleep with the fan instead of the air conditioning without being eaten by mosquitos. Many of the interior and exterior stucco walls are decorated with charming hand painted jungle and beach scenes, so the atmosphere of the place feels authentically Costa Rican. The bartender was friendly and hospitable and made excellent cocktails, the fish was fresh and the arroz con pollo was tasty. The wooded slope behind the buildings provides a jungle setting.
I could not read or reach the 3 temperature settings on the shower head [hot, cold, medium] so a shower stool would have been appreciated. FYI, it is terraced on a slope with a significant number of stairs and ramps to navigate, but they do have a porter to help with luggage.

the people
the road was noisy

Location was great and we had our own private path to the beach. lots of stuff close by and the restaurant and pool area were quaint and refreshing.
Road Noise was something I wasn’t expecting but given the location it is understandable

nothing
the room was terrible, the wc didn’t work and after the room flooded (with excrement on our suitcases) we decided to move to another another hotel and they didn’t provided us a reimbursement for the following nights we didn’t sleep in the hotel.

Adrien and the front desk staff were outstanding. They answered all my questions and helped me book a bunch of fantastic tours even during the busiest season. The hotel grounds were pleasant, with beautiful murals everywhere and lots of attention to detail. The room was spacious and very comfortable, particularly the large comfortable bed. The shower got hot right away, which was a nice bonus.
More of a suggestion than a complaint: the front desk might want to consider renting beach equipment, like a boogie board.

The location was very nice. Though it's a walk down to the beach, it's removed from super busy area which was nice. The property has lots of wildlife which was super nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was kept very clean and the murals on the property added a very nice touch.
The hotel is really no frills. The room is a place to rest, but not big enough to hang out in.

Beautiful trees decorate the property and you can see monkeys very close. Well located, near to the beach.
The room was too small for the 4 of us. It was also rather basic for the high price. There was no furniture to lay the suitcases.
9.0 / 10.0
The property is very well kept and nestled into the jungle but still close to beach and activities. The staff was kind and responsive and the room was well suited for our family of three.
We ate at the restaurant on site a couple of times and while the staff were lovely the food was lack luster and bland.

Good location close to the beach and an esy walk to the entrance to Manuel Antonio park.
It is on a hill and lots of steps to the room. Probably not good for the very elderly or those with physical disabilities. Parking is very tight if you go by car.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was in a great location!

I love everything in this place!! I recommend this hotel 100%
My only complaint is the bed, to me was so hard mattress. after that, no complaints.

in low season 75$ a night for this, seems very unreasonable for me. no breakfast included, very basic, swimming pool was too small to swim. In my opinion it's over priced.
