Excellent, beautiful, monkeys visiting at the pool, great breakfast, very clean, excellent housekeeping service. Perfect location. Hot water, cozy beds and A/C working very well. Pool is amazing. Very big rooms.
A coffee machine in the room and a daily bottle of water would be great.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The main pool is very nice, our kids had great fun. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The suite room is very spacious. Good quality furniture. Outdoors are nice.
Restaurant is a little expensive. Breakfast could be better, not many healthy options.

Pool and gardens. That's all.
Honest review: The hotel may have been good some years back, but now its really outdated. They are living out of the previous reviews but not caring anymore on maintenance nor service. The staff does the minimum possible.
The place has indeed beautiful gardens and potential, BUT don't be deceived by the "good" rating or the fact Booking shows you the nice reviews first.
The breakfast and general hygiene of the restaurant is not good at all. Fruit, butter and cheese are left at open air in the heat and dirty dishes are all over the place. The breakfast is poor: some fruit, packaged toast bread, pinto and scrambled eggs. The coffee is not good either (and you are in Costa Rica). Then they say to you: If you want the good one, in Britt capsules, it is four dollars.
The rooms are big and comfortable, but super noisy. You end up at the side of the main route or in front of the main pool with kids and people around.
The parking situation is chaotic. They send you 'down there', an events salon where you can try to park your car but it's small and crowded. We ended up carrying our bags up under the rain via the super steep carway and stairs. Again, no one helps or cares.
In summary, nice gardens, pools, but rundown, not hygienic restaurant, super basic breakfast (just enough to offer it in the booking and attract reservations), and staff doing the minimum possible. Not recommended at all.

Staff was all very friendly. Rooms next to lap pool were great - awesome access to the pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was good. Larger pool was nice

The aesthetics, cleanliness, comfort, large room!
The parking is horrible! One of the front desk staff was not as welcoming as all the other staff that I encountered. She wasn't horrible, just was not very welcoming

Large room with everything you need.
This place is built into the side of a hill and to get to the rooms or the pool or restaurant, etc. Involves going up and down numerous stairs- this place will not be good if that is hard to manage for someone. The location is not easily walkable to the beach or parque- a car or use of taxis or bus is needed to go most places. Most guest rooms are around the pool, which can get loud with screaming children. It is a nice place, but only if these things work for you.

We were given rooms close to each other and yet farther away from the "normal" noise of the hotel which was quite full during our stay, as we had requested with our reservation. We loved the location of our rooms and the fact that they provided us with a tranquil space to enjoy our private patios and less used pool, void of the noise made by the younger people and their music, who enjoy the more popular and larger main pool and pool bar. We were peacefully a short walk away from the office, restaurant and main bar, so it was also very convenient for us.
Unfortunately, the hotel a few doors away from ours was not as mindful of the excessive noise their guests were creating, which they allowed, until some complaints were made to the offending establishment and the noise level subsided and was much more tolerable. It was certainly no reflection on our hotel, which controls the environment in a much more caring way. The pools are closed at 10pm, and as such, so are the noise levels to create a serene environment for the guests' needed rest. It is not an easy task, as the hotels in Manuel Antonio are very close to each other and the road.

everything very pretty and clean
the breakfasts was not really good or tasty

Beautifiul environment, can be very romantic. We had the smaller pool just for ourselves sometimes. The staff is really helpful
The rooms situated near the street can be a bit noisy due to traffic, but nothing that bad
