The view was really good from the room
The breakfast was not good
8.0
Top breakfast, especially the fresh mangos.
The sushi were unfortunately a bit dry... and I found it sad to learn that the food that cannot be served anymore ends up in the trash... it could also be given to some people in need, animals or be used to produce biogas. Just saying :)

- Good Breakfast
- Good Location
- Decent rooms for a business traveler
- Definitely not a 5 star which is being wrongly claimed by the property
- For the same room my colleagues paid lesser hence thats the scam between the hotel and booking.com
- Everything else about the hotel is good except the reception staff and maybe even the seniors who are filled with an attitude of arrogance
- I wanted to know the name of the Manager of the hotel on my checkout on 23rd Feb 9.30 pm - I was shown some random name on a piece of paper and told take a picture - we dont have a visiting card and you make note on your own (this is the service by a 5 star where they cant even disclose the name of the manager properly)
- I hope traveller make choice wisely for their stay - As far as I am concerned I will not stay again at this hotel and nor will I suggest anyone to stay here and spoil your stay at the time of checkout

the location was great. the availability of the holy book was great.
attention to basic cleanliness was lacking. for example the curtains that covered the entire one side of the room was absolutely filthy and visible. the standing showers had built up slime and clogged drains. the holy book was placed at the same level as you would put your feet. this is extremely offensive.

it says 5 star hotel but not standard feel of a 5 star hotel . has pool check has a spa check has all what 5 star needs but not to the luxury standards that are in Middle East ,Arabian gulf , EUROPEAN UNION STATES & the US.
seen 5 stars but didn’t have that edge of a 5 star … the spa seemed dirty didn’t give the space feeling for any relaxation..

Comfortable Bed, work desk with stationeries
Everything was good. But I wish the room
temperature was not controlled centrally at the back office.
Also, no matter where the reservation has been done, I wish to get information before the reservation such as flat dollar exchange rate would be used rather than of the day and deposit of certain amount will be kept.

Quiet location. You can't hear the muslim calls for prayer.
I regularly travel to Dhaka and have stayed in a dozen 4-start and 5-star hotels. This one had the worst service. They blocked "20,000 BDT" on my card when I arrived, which was more than the room rate. What was the extra money for? It was so disrespectful like they don't trust that you wouldn't leave without settling the bill. My reservation was in USD, they made me pay in the local currency and use the "hotel exchange rate" which was overblown, compared to the real rate. Very shady.
When I complained about a problem that I had, the staff just smiled and said "Okay, ma'am", without trying to solve it. They serve instant coffee for breakfast and they call it "luxury". Pancakes were undercooked inside.
The gym was more like a sauna, so hot, and you can't control the air conditioning.
There were too many unnecessary security checks and restrictions. They check what's inside your luggage. For example, you can't bring your own alcohol. If you can't buy alcohol in this country and decide to bring a bottle of wine from abroad, what are you supposed to do with it?!
They tried to convince me for one hour that they can't remove the "service charge" from the bill, even though it's illegal to force customers who are not happy with the service to pay the service charge. They did remove it at the end, so all this circus with "We can't do it" was just a waste of my time
