The surroundings were beautiful to walk around.
The bird feeders attracted alot of birds throughout the day.
The view from the cottage.
The mezzanine and upstairs bedrooms were so so hot. I asked for a fan at reception and they gave me a really noisy desk fan that was as useful as a chocolate teapot.
It doesn't take much to buy some fans for those rooms and I am surprised they're not there already.
The decor really needs updating.
Not the fault of the management, but you now basically need to book slots in the pool and we got kicked out after 45mins as there was another group

I know it well since inception in 1990
Insufficient information about hot water took time to discover switch in ceiling to switch on thus inconvenienced first evening. The garden needs more careful maintenance

A very peaceful location. The cottage was extremely well appointed with everything one could need for a stay, whether short or long. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing to dislike although had some problems with the communal laundry facilities. Additional signage in the laundry area about the recommended washing programs would be helpful.

We stayed in a very cute cottage on lovely premises. The cottages is has everything you need! There is also a red center with ping pong and pool for our kids to play.
The property was spacious and perfect for our family. The staff were so incredibly helpful and gave amazing recommendations for delicious food and sites to see.

this place is great. You're tucked away in the hills and valleys below Oban. You're really in nature - with lots of paths to walk, easy to go to Easdale (a local recommendation) and overall a cozy stay. Olwan is a gem - she drew lovely maps for us, with recommendations of places and things for us to do. Go to the Kilmaford Bar on Tuesday nights for Live local music. IT was the highlight of our WHOLE trip.
Nothing to comment negatively about :)

everything you need home from home
the unexpected electric charge at the end of the stay not visible on booking form. you pay
for wood for fire as well. Restaurant not open the week we were there not busy
enough. Had to drive out to Oban to get something to eat.

space, comfortable beds, very clean, lovely views, open fire, warm and cosy
water pressure in showers very low

Cottage was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Games room was great for kids. Pool facilities were very nice. Holiday village was nice and quiet. We didn't use the outdoor facilities because the weather was poor but there was a nice play park, tennis/basketball court, putting green and dog field that we could have used.
Limited opening hours of restaurant (though I realise this is sub contracted so outwith control of the holiday village) and reception.

We enjoyed everything, the village, the cottage, the welcome we received from all staff, the nice surroundings, the peace of the place. The cottage is super nice, we felt at home. The area is beautiful, we enjoyed every single minute of our 3 nights stay. The pool is also very nice and it adds to the overall experience, as we didn't find it easy to book a place with a swimming pool. In summer it must be gorgeous too, as there is a tennis court too. We rented the bikes as well, and we loved biking next to the loch. Stay there, you will not be disappointed, if you are looking for a relaxation, far from the crowds, while enjoying full and cozy comfort.

The Receptionist is exceptionally good and provided us the information about the village and given tips on where to visit the Oban town. Really friendly team, thanks and you made our trip memorable.

Beautiful cottage and kitted out to a high standard.
although there was a welcome back, it was a bit difficult to work out the boost for the hot water. by the time I worked it out, it was time to check out.

staff are very friendly and restaurant is excellent. Restaurant was very authentic Italian.
Check in times too late and check out time too early. Bathroom needs upgrading.

It is in a beautiful location and it was good to have the size of apartment for 3 people. The kitchen is well-equipped.
The property is looking quite tired. There are no window screens, so you can’t open the windows (quite stiff) during midge season , and this flat under the roof can get very hot. The double bedroom and living area are good sized, but the twin is a VERY small box room with just a small unreachable skylight for natural light and air. The family bathroom shower had very little pressure and the temperature gauge was dodgy. Check-in and check-out timings are very ungenerous and pool opening hours are very restrictive.
