Friendly welcome and throughout the stay
Beds a little worn and shower head was broken but otherwise great
The location was ok but the neighbourhood might put some people off

Property run by a group of wonderful nuns. Very friendly. Even though they didn't speak English they did try to communicate, were kind and patient.
Property is comfortable and very clean. Room was cleaned daily with a change of towels.
A great breakfast included in the price along with fresh coffee, fruits, fresh breads, cheeses, cold meats, cereal, milk, boiled eggs, and various spreads.
Beautiful quiet environment.
Although this is a monastery, you don't need to be Catholic or Christian to stay here. They hold a Catholic Mass and you are welcome to but not expected to attend.
Transport is OK within the area. Bus to Naples within a 10min walk. Circumvesvusiana (local train) stop within 15min walk. Large local supermarket within 10min walk.
Location is a little far (6km?) from Central Naples
You're not given a front door key and need to buzz their doorbell for somebody to let you in. There may be restrictions on when you must return to the monastery (*possible curfew)
Shower head has poor water flow (possibly needs cleaning of lime buildup or changing)

I liked the people working there; they were friendly and it was clean, they had the facilities needed. We had breakfast included as well.
I didn't know that it was a church at first. It felt strange to stay in a church. But it was okay to stay except for the location. It was a bit far from the center and the busses nearby were not punctual with the timing. Especially in the evening, the area felt unsafe.

Free parking. The urban train was at 15 minutes away. The nuns were friendly.
No link to the location, but the city was abject and noisy. Filth everywhere. The only good thing about the city, was the food.
Regarding the location, we didn't like that the toilet seat and the shower head were broken.

Nuns were all lovely! Big rooms.
No air. Busy street at night.

The nuns are very sweet and kind, I would especially like to thank to sister Tarchizia (i'm not sure how to spell it). :)

It was an interesting building.
It lacked air conditioning and it was extremely hot. The beds were uncomfortable.

If you are looking for added value to your stay this is the right place for you.
+ the helpfulness of the nurses
+ pleasant and clean living
+ elevation of the spirit (holy mass every day)
- location (but very good train connection to the city center and beach)

The staff were really nice and it really is a cool experience to be around nuns. They were very helpful and so so kind!! The hotel felt more like an old school which was cool.
There’s breakfast in the kitchen in the morning which was nice!
The wifi was really working but the nun offered us to stay in their office and use it for a bit if we wanted to which was nice.
The location however is not safe at all. The suburb Barra is one of the more dangerous places. We felt unsafe walking around the area even in the daylight as 2 girls. We ended up just taking the taxi as it felt the most safe. The area is a bit dodgy and there’s lots of rubbish everywhere. I would say if you’re booking this place to save money, just book a place more central as us booking taxis ended up being more expensive than just booking a better located hotel.

Very secure property with plenty of public behind the property. The nuns were very kind people. Nice breakfast. 10-15 minute walk to train station. Then 15-20 minute Train ride to Centre of Naples from there
WIFI was not good in the rooms. however the nuns allowed me to use there office which was better. Beds were a little uncomfortable.

It was interesting to see how the life of nuns must have been. we have stayed in similar places before. the nuns are fantastic hosts.
Location is a bit away from the historical town but the public transport is good. no problem

Very friendly and welcoming nuns. Despite lack of English, everything was understandable intuitively. Big warm room. Convenient free parking within 2 minutes of walk. Upon arrival we were given a cup of good coffee - thanks a lot for it!
We think though that without a car this area is not convenient to stay.
