Terrible value for money

The location was ideal

It was freezing when we arrived, been driving for 4 hours, took a couple of hours to even warm up. Couldn't have showers as no hot water, this was a big issue as on timed and only seemed to get hot water for an hour in the morning. Tried pressing boost button as instructed but water still cold. Very annoying as wanted showers before we went out for our posh dinners we had booked Shower head held in place with a black bin liner!!! Carpets filthy. No mattress protectors, stains on mattresses. V few cooking utensils etc in kitchen. Could do with a good clean and sort out This is the second time we've had this with booking. com that's why we rarely use you now

Fantastic four day stay in the beautiful city of York, complemented by the property in question.

Property situated in an excellent location. Very close to city centre and all other amenities.

Cannot think of anything we didn't like, all was above and beyond expectations.

A lovely apartment in a perfect location

The location was spot on. A short stroll to the Shambles. Perfect.

Access info could be sent by sms as well as email. We are traveling thru UK/ Europe and didn’t always have access to emails.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at a super central location!

The property is in a superb, central, location! It literally takes just minutes to walk to the Monk Bar - The Minster - The Shambles or York Market! Very difficult to beat!

The beds were a little uncomfortable - but that is a personal preference - i'm sure for other people they may be absolutely fine.

Pleasant

Location, location, location...en suite bathroom, Lovely big flat .well equipped and clean and tidy.. Correspondence was great from city Let's as we travelled South and I had broken my phone, I have only given this property a low rating because of the parking issue..

Unable to park my car in the carpark, had to pay for parking at a private car park. I can't find any information on height restrictions in my correspondence Had been camping and had a full roofbox . This was so stressful after a nightmare journey ( not your fault)

Great city , fantastic location but accommodation in need of a lot of tlc!

Great location close to all attractions, shops and restaurants

In need of a really good clean and hoover , toilets and sinks horrible had to go out and buy cleaning products to do it ourselves ! In need of tlc and a lick of paint , no mirror in 2 nd bedroom and cupboards/drawers were all loose, painting on wall hadn’t been re hung after obviously falling off! More care needs taken not up to standard especially after what you pay!

Lovely apartment in a perfect location

Perfect central location, just 5 mins walk from Shambles and the Minster. Secure parking space a bonus. Flat spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable and modern bathrooms. At rear of building so nice and quiet.

Settee uncomfortable and only seating for 3 people, space for 4 comfortable seats. Some confusion over parking space due to neighbour shouting from window that we were in the wrong place, but quickly resolved by letting agent. A welcome pack from host would be appreciated.

Excellent and will definitely go back to York

The accommodation was in an excellent location. Within walking distance to all amenities.

A few hiccups in the apartment. Clump of hair on bedroom floor and a few dirty glasses in the cupboard, apart from that everything else was fine. The apartment was lovely and well equipped and would certainly recommend.

Excellent stay in central York

The Location was excellent, very central and could walk everywhere. The apartment was very comfortable and there was two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was excellent

It was difficult to use the oven on the cooker, and the television didn't work a couple of times and we had to reset it.

We had a fantastic time. The apartment was a perfect haven.

The location was perfect. The apartment was beautiful, well organized, and very comfortable.

There was an off-putting smell, especially in the entry and common spaces of the building. We are very sensitive to smells so this might not be an issue for others.

I'd definitely stay here again. It's clean, well equipped and the location couldn't be better.

I was sent the wrong door code but this was easily sorted with a phonecall. The location could not have been better: right in the heart of Old York and surprisingly quiet for it.

The decor was cheap and really didn't fit the setting but I wasn't expecting The Ritz. The sofa was small and not particularly comfortable and I'd like to have been able to open a living room window.

A lovely spacious flat, in a perfect location.

The location is perfect, and having a secure parking space in the centre of York was such a bonus.

The place really, really needs coat hooks! And a mirror in the twin room would have been useful.

A spacious and comfortable apartment to enjoy a few days in York

Excellent location in the heart of York. Secure parking. Very warm - we had to keep turning the heating down!

An extra soft chair would be nice when there are four people staying.

Excellent location. Clean . Comfortable bed.

There were 4 of is staying. It needed an extra sofa for relaxing in the evening. Earlier check in would have been nice. No luggage storage so had to pay on arrival until we could check in.

Short stay in York

Fantastic location and car parking space much appreciated. Generally very comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay, including very efficient heating!

It just felt a little tired as a few things were not working (fan element on oven, badly frosted freezer and slow draining bathroom sink) or broken (pictures not on walls, bedroom cabinet door hanging off). Was a little disappointed with cleanliness of flooring too, especially the carpeted areas which could do with a wash. I think a little bit of basic maintenance will easily make this 10/10.

Pleasant

Apartment was very attractive and in a fabulous location. Being able to park the car safely and not take it out was very advantageous

A lot of what was supposed to be provided was not, and even after contacting the management, this was not rectified. This made it difficult for us to leave things as we would have liked. We had to leave dirty equipment as we had not scouters, tablets for dishwasher, dishcloth or tea towels, with vivid, this left us feeling very uncomfortable . We wrote to management services and after three weeks, we still have no response. This is sad as everything else was great.

Exceptional apartment in a fantastic location

The location couldn’t be better, literally out of the front door into the centre of York, with gated parking at the rear of the building. The apartment was spacious, modern with every facility you could need. And considering it was so central it was exceptionally quiet.

I feel churlish making these next comments because the apartment was lovely but the radiator in the main bathroom didn’t appear to work and the clock in the kitchen needed a battery. Minor details that in no way affected our stay

5 star location, 3 star facilities

*Location was excellent - very central. *Beds were very comfy.

Lots of niggles highlighted by previous guests in reviews have not been addressed by owners and were a source of irritation to us too. *Not enough lounge seating for 4 guests. *freezer needing defrosted- frozen solid and items left in it. *room thermostats not all working *bathrooms lacking basics like toilet roll holders, towel rail, door hooks. *not enough basic cleaning provisions - no spare bin bag, only 2 dishwasher tabs. *a few provisions in a wee welcome pack would have been nice rather than random items left in the cupboards by previous guests. *decor in need of a refresh and picture in main bedroom needing rehung. Overall lots of wee things needing attention which is a pity as the apartment could be so much better if they were seen to.

A well-appointed, comfortable flat in a brilliant central position. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location. We couldn't believe it when we stepped out of the front entrance to fine how close the Minster and Shambles were. The kitchen was well kitted out. The flat was very comfortable.

Not being told recyling was available for the rubbish in the flat information. Short showers were necessary to avoid flooding the floor in the ensuite because the shower didn't drain properly.

Wonderful clean apartment in the centre of York, a very comfortable stay.

The location was incredible, it was so central and convenient, everything was so close by! We had fantastic sleep too. Having an allocated parking space with the spacious apartment was a bonus. The apartment was decorated tastefully and very clean.
