Nice hotel, excellent location

An excellent location, close to the railway station and the centre of the town. Everything worked, the room was clean, nice. If I come to Regensburg again, I will definitely look for this hotel again.

For a short stay, it was perfect. For a longer stay, I would prefer more space to store things, maybe a table. The room was quite small, but everything important was there and worked.

A nice stay in a little hotel with a warm welcome!

The hotel is very close to the coty centre, the Thurn und Taxis Museum/Palace and a parking garage. It's very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. You really feel very welcome as a guest.

The room, bathroom and the bed all are too small even when you're quite thin. It was impossible to sit in the toilet in a normal way. It must be hard to enter the shower when being pregnant or having a belly. The streetside of the hotel can be quite noisy at night due to yelling juveniles and traffic.

Would probably return for the location. It was easy to reach everything on foot in old town.

Nice breakfast, typical German. The owner was extremely helpful answering questions about the area. Fantastic location right across from the Thurn & Taxis Castle.

The room was very small, yet nicely decorated, by American standards and really only for sleeping. It was however very quiet when keeping the windows closed.

A brilliant location. Friendly staff. Room was nice. No kettle in the room but you can go downstairs to make a cuppa.

Bathroom and toilet very small. Fine for a couple of nights but would be a pain for longer stays or if you were a larger person.

A superb place for a two days break on the Danube cycling route. Very nice hosts!

The location is great. Also the fact that one can use the facilities of the breakfast room in the evening. Breakfast is fine. Hosts are very helpful. Although there is no parking for bicycles, we could leave them by the piano.

May be the breakfast is a bit expensive compared to other places. But hosts take care to propose true local products !

Had a great stay at the hotel and the town it is in was well worth a visit.

Fantastic sums up my stay here. Great staff/owner. ecellent room. Great price for what you are getting.

Thanks to a small/(older?) building the bathroms where sort of small which meant the toilets placement where kind of odd, but at the same time sort of the only place it coud be at.

Wonderful place to stay and great people.

The location was great. We really like the setup and the room. What really made it special were the people working there. They took the time to tell us about the city and suggestions on what to do. We really appreciate the extra effort. The breakfast is also amazing.

It is an older building so the noise can be heard from the street if you have a front room, but they offer earplugs, as they recognize this.

Visiting Regensburg regularly, but this time the hotel add something very nice to our stay. Nice rooms, very friendly staff, near city centre. Castle hotel has for sure "genius loci".

Very nice hotel in the historic old town

Location of this hotel is just perfect - in front of the Thurn & Taxis Palace, in the old town, but it was also very quiet at night. Rooms are not big, but comfortable, modern and very cosy. Bathroooms were also very clean and pleasant. Despite the COVID pandemic, personnel provided all the services, breakfast was served to the table (very tasty!), and we felt safe all the time.

Parking only in the nearby parkplatz. Not a big deal, but for clarity, it would be nice to have it included in the overall price - it's not clear for people from abroad to understand how to find the place to leave your car safely...
