We had one of the of bungalows. Lovely and clean. Very spacious. The food was amazing. The pork tomahawk steak was huge and very tasty. Photo doesn't do it justice.

The room we had was a bungalow and it was lovely very clean. Beautiful gardens and nice grounds. Nice staff.
The room echo really bad . They wasn't enough milk and sugar no sweetner. The quilt was thin. We was woken by extremely noisy neighbours which decided to call all his mates up at 3 45 in the morning. The walls are thin.. the henry the v111 dining room.drapes on the ceiling are filthy.. big stains or dirt all over them. It's very very bad .. The waitress changing tables didn't wipe them down just put out clean cutlery once a guest left the table, the breakfast menu wasn't great. The English breakfast was missing fried bread and cooked tomatoes a vegetarian option and diffinate needs continental breakfast that would have been nice to have, with fruit, not just apples n oranges. The fresh water didn't have any lemon slices and there was no condiments for cooked breakfast or bread rolls or crossonts, and coffee n tea would been nice in mugs as well as small cups.
And creal options was boring. Could done to have branflakes etc.
The milk and sugar needs to be more than just 2 each in the rooms and needs to be other tea options like fruit and have sweetener.
The bed was tiny my hubby fell out twice , the stone floors In the bungalow was a little cold . A rug would be nice .

Grounds and the frontage were beautiful. Breakfast food was OK.
Room wasn't clean. Hairs in the bed. Bathroom had some mold and smelled. Room was tiny, barely enough room for the bed. Noise from wedding until 11pm. Loud delivery outside window at 6am. Window had to be open due to being too hot with no air con. Had to ask twice for things at breakfast. Poor location for town, which isn't particularly nice and seems to be closed on weekday evenings.

Reasonably priced
Very noisy , executive rooms seem to be above the venue for party’s, very loud music till midnight. Also in the mornings the executives rooms are used for brides and bridesmaids getting ready and gets very noisy for 7am.

Beautiful spacious hotel room & lovely buffet breakfast

Staff were lovely, the hotel is in a nice location. Check in and check out is easy.
We were given a tiny, pokey room with no outside-facing window - the window looked out onto a corridor. This wasn't advertised on Booking - no mention of an inside room.
The place itself is a wedding venue as well as a hotel and this means that the first thing you read in the room is a notice saying there will probably be noise late at night! In our case this meant people stamping up and down the corridor till 2am and shouting at each other, as well as an entire wedding party looking at us like we had no business being there.
Breakfast was fine but it's self-service meaning it's a bit like a rugby scrum as you attempt to get a plateful of food while hungover wedding guests occupy the entire space while letting their kids crawl around the floor.
At £110 a night you expect a lot more.

Room was lovely, big clean and bright.
Restaurant was closed at 5pm which we didn't realise. Had to go to local shop to buy sandwich for tea instead.

The grounds are beautiful
There was a stale smell (like sweaty) we had to keep the room window open all night . There were 3 weddings happening which meant it was overly busy. We went out the whole time

Good service and staff were very helpful ( especially the lady taking the breakfast order ).
Bathroom too small and the room was a bit stuffy.
But overall fine.

Wedding venue for family wedding, well catered for the event.
The room was quite small but ok, the shower tray was blocked so was scared to stay in too long incase it overflowed. My partner didn’t get to have a shower due to this. Pair of dirty boxers in the wardrobe from a previous guest.

Not enough space to hang clothes.
No wardrobe just a couple of hooks on the wall

The room decor was good.
We were there for a funeral and the hotel was very close to the crematorium
The room was too hot with no useable controls to change. We mentioned it at reception and were told " I know the heating keeps coming on because its still winter and cold at night sometimes. Control in room required.
There was nowhere to sit in the room other than on the bed.
We were given menus in the restaurant. We all chose..then we were told that only the Sunday menu applied.
I booked 2 rooms, for myself and husband but also for my daughter and partner but they were asked to pay for theirs.

there isn’t a single thing not to like about the property itself, everything is kept in tip top shape.
im a schizophrenic on social media with 800,000 followers and ur grounds at night time are so soothing, and ur staff was very accepting in allowing me to come In and out the side exit during alarm set hours!

It was a huge letdown as the venue had some kind of event on that night, it was too noisy and we could hear every word as we were placed immediately above the venue/ disco room. It went on until small hours in the morning.
It would be nice to be told this upon arrival, they didn’t bother to put up a poster or notice to let other guests(non party ones) know about the event and the time it is expected to end. The receptionist was very dismissive and rude, she didn’t even greet us when she saw us coming in and it seemed like a big task to her! The management was even worse, the gentleman on duty should find himself different job as clearly he has no idea about the hospitality business or how to speak, convey himself in front of the paying guests. Extremely unhelpful individual! It was shambles from the moment we put a foot in that hotel. Never again!!!

Lovely hotel . Lots going on . We had a room that could hear the music until midnight . But it did go quiet after that . Beautiful room . Little heater if it got cold . We didn't need it through the night . Breakfast was clean ( no burnt items ) hot and fresh. Plenty to choose from . Would definitely go back . The only downside was some staff could of done with being a little more polite . Understand they have a busy schedule and lots of events going on. But a smile costs nothing . Booking in was easy and that member of staff was lovely
Beautiful surroundings .
