We really enjoyed the location on the lake and the game room. We traveled with 6 teenagers and they utilized everything! Property manager was great to work with and super responsive.

House is in a great location at the end of a cul-da-sac right on lake Norman. Nice private location with plenty of room and sleeping for about 12. The kitchen is stocked well - even has a bunch of spices available to use, but as a person cooking for a family of 7 - I had a hard time with the size of the pots/pans available. The house was generally clean but there are item I wish had more care taken, such as the primary bedroom bathroom shower stall had pink mold in the corners and needs to be recaulked& there were some dead bugs and spiderwebs. The lower level of the house is a real selling point - pool table, fooseball table, arcade games, puzzle, books and outside on the patio the hot tub. When booking they recommend a boat rental company - that delivers the boats directly to your dock - HIGHLY RECOMMMED. The boat was amazing - we rented it for 3 days and had a blast cruising around the lake and fishing off the boat. Overall was a great experience and would definitely return in the future.

Our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 teens) had a great time at Cove Lane! Location was really outstanding. The house was well laid out and we all enjoyed the game room, fire pit and dock. We rented a boat and tube through the rental company and the process was seamless - we had such a wonderful time on the lake! Thank you!

Beautiful house on the lake and plenty of parking. Only items I would adjust is there wasnt any linens in the kitchen to use to dry pants or wash the countertops & maybe more pots for cooking. House was overall beautiful and would highly recommend for families.

We had 2 families with children and one without in our group, 11 people total. The house had plenty of room for everyone and the basement game room was perfect for the teens. Everyone loved being able to swim and fish right off the dock. There are a few grocery stores and plenty of restaurants nearby that were really convenient. We also spent time in Charolette which was a short drive. It was a great property, we would love to come back to visit!

The home is in a perfect location and we enjoyed swimming in the lake and the dock. There are some updates/maintenance things that could be done to the home. Also, a good deep clean of the house would do it good especially the basement and under the furniture. The setup of the home was nice to have a full bathroom on each level too.

Beautiful home and property! We had 6 adults and 7 kids and the home was very spacious. The kids enjoyed hanging out in the game room and hot tub. We rented a boat with tube through the rental property referral and the process was seamless. Great home and fun amenities!! 5 Stars!!

First time to stay at a home on Lake Norman. The lake is great and we rented pontoon boat two days to let the teenagers and the their parents have the fun of tubing. The weather was typical summer time hot and humidity, boat dock at the house got plenty of use for jumping in and floating, the slew where the house is located is quiet with only minor boat traffic (especially the noisy personal water crafts). The game room in the house is excellent with many things for younger generation. The kitchen is good size and the eating arrangement worked out perfectly adults at main table and teenagers at their own table. Nearby services including grocery stores made it easy to restock food etc daily. what with 5 teenagers.

We planned a Senior Trip for our 17 yr old daughter. She made a list of boat rides, wake boarding, indoor games, and a day at an amusement park. My husband got online, searched up her trip criteria, and we booked this place the next day. CAROWINDS WAS AN EXCELLENT TIME! Just 45 minutes away!!! Fun for everyone...

Spacious house with lakefront access!
Overall, great experience. The house was super spacious for 6 adults. Each couple had their own level with a bedroom and bathroom. Would have been equally comfortable with 1 more couple (though in twin beds) and plenty of space for any families with kids. Relatively updated and modern finishes (bathrooms were more updated than photos, so a pleasant surprise) though could use fresh paint. The usual amenities of bathroom towels, toilet paper and kitchen supplies were provided - need to bring shampoo/shower toiletries. Lakefront access with a boat slip was superb - awesome time hanging at the dock and floating in the lake. Game room with Pac-Man and pool table was an added bonus. The house is on the more secluded side of the lake so be prepared to drive 20-30 minutes for nicer restaurants. Convenient access to grocery store and a few food places. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Relaxing stay
The home is located on a secluded lot in a quiet neighborhood. It was very spacious and well equipped. The dock could use some updating, but other than that, the home was well maintained Food and groceries were just a short drive down the rode and there was a local farmers market that we were able to take advantage of. The boat rental was a seamless process. It was there upon our arrival and readily available at the dock. Overall it was a relaxing, family vacation .

Great stay
This is a great house on a quiet cove. We had a small issue with checking in... never received any emails or information to get into the house. The cell phone service isn't good at the house so my wife had to drive a mile away to call. Got the information and from there it was a great Memorial Day weekend. We brought our boat and used it every day. Very convenient having a dock at the house to use. Kids loved the hot tub! The internet speeds could be better but that wasn't our primary reason for going away. The house was clean and very nice.

It was amazing. Convenient grocery and restaurants just 5 minutes down the road. Plenty of room to relax. The game room downstairs was great. Being able to use the kayaks was a bonus for December. The weather worked in our favor. The house was immaculate. Looking forward to going back again when the weather is warm.

House was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with: towels, dishes, toilet paper, and hand soap. The amenities were numerous, including: kayaks, life jackets, fire pit, lounge chairs, game room, grill, yard games, and hot tub. Our autumn visit was quiet and peaceful.
Three bedrooms on second floor: two bunks, two twins (no closet), one full and one bathroom.
Master with ensuite and a half bath on the main level.
Two bedrooms in basement with one bath,
Full bed in one and daybed in the other.

Our family came from out of state for a long weekend, Labor Day weekend, of wedding events. The rental was the perfect home base for us. We loved waking up to the panorama water view. In between wedding events, our children enjoyed the kayaking, swimming and jumping off the dock, playing with the games in the basement and having a campfire one evening. Only negative comments are the house next to the property has been being built for several years, but appears to not have been worked on in a while. The next-door unfinished home doesn’t affect the beautiful water view from within the home, but it’s definitely “right there” if you are sitting on the small balcony off the one bedroom, sitting on the back deck or looking at the shoreline from the water. It didn’t bother us, because we were there for the wedding weekend and not for a “family vacation” (although staying at the lake house did feel like a mini family vacation!) If they began construction again, that would definitely ruin the peaceful vibe of the lake and lake house. Also, one of the basement bedroom quilts on the bed was stained (although it did appear to be clean).

We visited this home for my sister’s bachelorette party. While the house is in a great location on the lake, it fell short in other areas. The exterior of the house needs some attention: pressure washing and bird poop removal from the windows. Many of the outlets throughout the home don’t work, to the point where we even checked the circuit breaker to make sure it wasn’t tripped. They definitely need to add more pots, pans, cookware, etc to the kitchen. There also aren’t ceiling fans in most of the bedrooms which was hot.
The outside area is very nice. Kayaks, life vests, noodles, etc provided which we enjoyed using. The spot on the lake is ideal for floating as it’s in a cove and there isn’t much boat traffic. We enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit as well. Overall we had a great stay, but the owners need to fix the issues listed above as well as address the overall look of the home inside- many shotty jobs on home repairs.

This house hit all the targets for a 12-person family reunion with adults and 6 teens. We bonded while floating, splashing, kayaking, sunbathing, corn-holing, fishing, eating, billiard-playing, video gaming, fire-pitting (smores!), and so many other activities. The kitchen was big enough to handle a LOT of eating activities, and the layout of the common rooms was great -- the kids loved the game room in the basement.
Of course, the back yard/deck/lake was the star of the show. We caught all the little fish we wanted (bring small hooks to have a LOT of action), and even some good sized ones! We spent two days renting boats from marinas very close to the house, and had a blast on the beautiful lake.
Brand new Publix was 5 min away, the gas station/general store (ice and worms) was 2 min away, and a fun afternoon drive to Davidson and Cornelius were only 25 min away.
The home was very comfortable, clean, well appointed, and in a safe, quiet location. It absolutely hit the target for memory-making, work disconnection, and family connection.

This is a really good lake house for a family vacation - a few small improvements and it would be fantasic.
The house is definitely bigger than the pictures show - we had 9-12 people for an extended family celebration of my son's graduation - I was worried it might be tight - but we had plenty of room. The basement was perfect for the teens - they loved hanging out playing foosball, pool and especially the old time PacMan, Frogger and Donkey Kong!
The appliances appeared to be new and with the exception of the dishwasher that looked like maybe had not been installed correctly all worked great.
The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms appeared to have been updated and carpets were either new or had been cleaned - they were great. The interior could use a coat of paint but not a big deal.
We took our boat, jet ski's and SUPs - the location on a quiet cove we great to take SUPs out and just float in the water. It wasn't too far to take the boat to get to a larger part to wakeboard & tube. Our only real complaint was that the covered boat dock was in need of repair in that when it rained the water in the ceiling and ended up draining into the boat instead of draining to the side - so everything that was "under the roof" got soaked. That only matters if you are hoping to keep thing dry.
Overall a really good house and I would recommend it to others.
